I've noticed that fh5 has a lot of forza edition cars in A and S1 class, would be nice to see them race all together as they vary from super grippy track spec to ludicrous rally cars

Here’s a suggestion: take the drift NASCAR Camry, put some rally tires/suspension on it, and do some “late model” oval racing on the dirt short track at the Baja circuit!
New to this Forza lark (last driving game bought was Burnout) and i know you were in different class + drift cars but that first track i've been playing round in a A class Mk1 Cortina and doing 1:16s.....you've just made me feel much better about my driving (*cough) skills.
What Brant said, tried, they have no steering. Only compensation is to manually make semi drag tune, but with upgrades and settings for as much grip and cornering as possible. But because of engine change it's very difficult.
What are the Drift Cars in FH5 like? I didn´t like the Formular Drift cars in FH4, because they felt like a shopping cart, with a 5th wheel at the center of the car. All my selfmade Drifters were way better than those. Is it still like that in FH5, or did they change something about that?
It's a little bit quicker to corner that way, but it's a knife edge because you then need to be able to quickly gather it all back up again to accelerate out the other side. Generally more consistent to keep the slip angle to an absolute minimum, as you risk losing a lot more time getting out of the corner than in the middle of it!
Ah I don't believe you that sliding is slow, yes for me everything is slow but I have watched that Don Joewan Song guy who was or is #1 on the leader board race using drifting skills in a normal race. Now maybe the difficulty was not at Unbeatable I do not actually know but I do know in the race I watched he drifted around the course and won easily... was he in Novice drivers I do not know, so maybe I have no legs to stand on but I have seen a drift car win a street or race course type race. I will also say he is good at drifting, no losing control, no non-drifting times as I recall with maybe the exception when you go a long way in a straight line and he switched sides though that may have never ended the drift. So having said all that I do not believe that drifting is slow. (yes yes if I drift or drive it will be slow so I can't just race you because I will always be last no matter what I do.)
Drifting these particular cars on dirt is slow. They have such limited traction that you have to keep the rear end under control so you can hook up and get as much acceleration as possible on the exit of the corner
please help me to tell alex that the bug where if u finish aftersomeon and still win its not a bug. its from where you started. if u started behind him and end up finishing right behind him you technically drope the course faster. tahts how the game works!
Erm no? That's not how racing works? And your point doesn't make sense either in the context of the video. It's all due to de-synch . Occasionally (and quite often in higher classes), the game does not synchronise the cars properly between players. So when on one screen it shows cars are alongside one another, in other players' POV it might be one is half a car length ahead of the other. And who knows what actually happens.

A hobie 18 can cross the line several hours ahead of a mirror - the sailor has packed up his boat, put it away, gone home, had lunch and come back to the beach to pick up their award, only to find that the mirrors will win if they cross the line in the next 2 hours… which they might very well do!
if aasbo can drift it doesnt mean some other driver can, say what you want about asboo, but tuerck is bad in the toyota, idk. i prefer d1gp or ls or drift masters, or rusian league
Nah, being smooth and avoiding wheelspin is the way to go here. Drift tyres have a lot of lateral grip in this game, so by sliding around all you end up doing is scrubbing off speed unnecessarily.
How come all the racers are called by their usernames or abbreviations of, eg Russkiy, Impega, Longbow, Dangerman etc etc but he calls - what I assume to the the only female in the gang - Amy, when it's not in the Gamertag? Pretty formal for all the guys, but the girl gets special attention. Seems really cringe and tryhard, like the typical male gamer salivating over a woman playing with them.
No? Alex refers to InvisibleAk as Chris and to myself as Oli, in some circumstances such as these it's just easier for Alex to say our actual names than our gamertags.

Ferrari was mad off the line n on the straights, just didn't like the lower speed stuff that much

When drift cars go rallying they grow up and become power slide cars.
isn't off-road a tiny bit of oversteer faster? like not full on drift but the car rotating and the rears slightly slipping

Some cars, traction assist is a must. They wheel spin too much and have minimal control going in and out of corner.
