RM was an underground rapper in Korea in his early teens, he wrote poems when he was 9-12 and started shifting to rap at 13. He fell in love with the culture and studied it, that’s why u can hear it in him. He was the first member of BTS and he’s the team leader, the main songwriter-compser too. What you’re seeing here is personal words in his lyrics, emotions he was bolting in for a long time and now he’s releasing them without a care in the world. Usually he’s known for his crazy pen game. Diversity in his writing styles, Poetry in its finest, wordplay and crazy beats, and different styles of rap you’ll get to see later if ur interested. When it comes to his rap, personally i say he has a sound of tupac, nas, eminem and maybe kendrick? I feel like his rap and voice has a personality.

One of my favorite early rap tracks by RM, when he went by Rap Monster, is Do You. He raps over the beat from the Major Lazer/Pharrell track Aerosol Can. Pharrell is one of his influences. They did an interview together for Rolling Stone and we keep expecting a collab that never seems to come.

I found some of the songs on the album got me right away and the rest sucked me in after a couple of listens. - lol I wanted to give you some engagement then ended up babbling
