RM is definitely still very much with BTS. While yes, he needed a break from the "industry" per se and he did take some physical space (his words) in order to touch base with himself as an individual (which makes sense since he's been in the position of leader of the group for 10 years starting at the age of 18) which is what 2023 was for him and what birthed the RPWP project, he is still very much a member of BTS and very proud of that. They are way more to each other than just band mates, they are family (their words). They have also gained a position not only within the industry at a scale that is unreachable for any other group, they also have a position within their company that will allow them to make different decisions for their well-being then they were able to the 1st half of the career as they were trying to "make it" as the underdogs of SK.
Anderson actually is bestie with bts and he went to their concert with his family and played the drums for one of their performances check it out it's called yet to come
dude army are scary good at diagnosing the right albums/songs for different tastes like i've seen army give recs catered towards metal heads, rock band members, kpop lovers, classical musicians, rappers, street dancers and ballad singers welcome to the bts buffet :D (and 10/10 hawaiian shirts) also dude i fucking ascended when i first heard wildflower's chorus the korean title translates literally to "wildflowerwork" which is a play on firework+wildflower and man namjoon really found the voice equivalent of a firework. youjeen's voice is so clear and piercing and bright and explosive it's almost cathartic like she's getting rid of pent up stress on my behalf looking forward to more bts vids but yes, please dont feel obligated to post only bts stuff! it's your channel 👍
Namjoon composed all these songs and wrote the lyrics to all of them (including the line "Do you remember the smell of grass when you were young?") lyrics for the features of all the songs except All Night, Closer, and Hectic. This album really displays the diversity and range of his musicality. As for him leaving BTS, he wants to do both.
all of bts members are still in bts, but they all have solo releases. it's just their way to keep a healthy relationship and an outlet for personal thoughts and stories. such structure to their work is completely normal, guys were releasing solo works even before group's hiatus that happened because of conscription all of the boys repeat time and time again that they really miss working as a group and can't wait to reunite in 2025. they are really like brothers, like family. they are able to give each other space when needed and are really supportive of other's solo work and achievements. not a malicious bone in their bodies as armys we perceive both group and solo bodies of work as bts "lore". boys promote their solo releases as "member of bts" as well. it's all interconnected, simply because in both group in solo projects they have always been writing music themselves and were honest with it

Agreed so much! But honestly my first listen of RPWP ended with "Huh. Well that was an album, I guess. VERY experimental." Then I came back to it a week later with lyrics and suddenly I loved every part of it. I think the experimentalness of RPWP can be a bit jarring at first if you're not used to listening to experimental music.

for your comments on the first song youre almost there. youre right and wrong. so its not about bts being in the group or being with the members as friends/family and its not about their label either but it is about the industry and their govt trying to use them as koreas representatives. so like yes hes trying to escape but not from bts or army or their label. he wants to make music with the group and as a solo artist without all the pressure to represent kpop or korea when majority of the people forcing him to represent were the ones who treated bts like trash when bts were unknown and to a extent still do through media and behind their back thats why they dont know who to trust besides each other and their label bighit not even the overall hybe company they cant trust everyone there because everyone is trying to use bts while also tearing them down so they can climb above them. the more you react to their music and lyrics and maybe information videos the more youll get it but youre already getting it to some extent :)

Based on your taste I think you would also absolutely enjoy Hope On The Street by jhope and Golden by jungkook. Mono by RM is much more mellower in tone but its still worth listening to for poetrys sake. Also to answer your question RM is BTS. Yes his solo music is his individual soul. But there is no bts without rm or rm without bts. You have to hear the members of bts talk and interact and listen to more of their albums to fully get it. BTSs musical discography journey is divided into parts by the group themselves. Chapter 1 is BTS's first 9 years (2013- 2021) as a group and their group's conceptual discography about being growing humans. We are currently in Chapter 2 (2022- present) Chapter 2 is basically about exploring their individual sides and colours (all still while being part of bts. They don't have to split to make solo music like western groups lmaoo. They have freedom. They have healthy relationships with each other and their music label) In member jhopes words ch2 is "spending time apart to learn to be one again". They are doing this to explore and preserve their individuality, to not get lost in the industry and loose their musicality. So they are all one by one releasing solo albums and projects. After that will be chapter 3 which will be after their reunion which will show a new musical side to bts both as a group and individuals.

I totally get wanting to not be stuck reacting to just one artist and I appreciate you a lot for being honest abt it and giving us a heads up. A lot of reactors push out a bunch of BTS reactions bc they do well, they grow their channel and eventually they stop reacting to BTS. So again, Ty for being straightforward from the beginning. Genius is not the worst place for lyrics, but doolset is even better, it is fan made and they give a bunch more context and explanations on their Korean lyrics, I would specially recommend you check out the lyrics for WildFlower, Still Life and Yun there to reach an ever greater level of appreciation for the songs and RM’s lyricism. And for other artist reactions, can you clarify if it’s any artist or if you want to stick western artists? It’s cool either way, just wondering.
Any artists in general, I would say I prefer to listen to western artists just because that’s more in my comfort zone/ it’s what I grew up on, but I like listening to other stuff every so often so that I can expand my horizons

They all do their stuff but they're all still part of BTS. It's probably one of the reasons they're able to stay together. They have a lot of artistic freedom as a group and have always been able to express themselves in their solo work on the side. They've been a group since 2013 until now, and they worked together for even longer (~2010-2012 depending on when the members joined as trainees). They are on a hiatus only because of their mandatory military service and took the opportunity to focus on their solo careers - Jin has a few solo songs: The Astronaut (2022), Abyss, Tonight, and Super Tuna. As well as OSTs and solos on BTS albums. We are patiently hoping for an album soon 🙏 - SUGA has 'Agust D' (2016) and 'D-2' (2020) and 'D-Day' (2023) as Agust D. Plus collaborations, productions for other artists and solos on BTS albums as SUGA - j-hope has 'Hope World' (2018) as well as 'Jack in the Box' (2022) and 'Hope on the Street Pt.1' (2024). Plus collaborations and solos on BTS albums - RM has 'RM' (2015), 'mono.' (2018), 'Indigo' (2022) & 'Right Place, Wrong Person' (2024). As well as various collaborations and solos on BTS albums - Jimin has 'Face' (2023). As well as solos on BTS albums, singles, collaborations and OSTs. His most recent one being 'Closer Than This' (2023) - V has 'Layover' (2023) and singles, the most recent is called 'FRI(END)S' (2024). As well as OSTs, solos on BTS albums, collab and work as an actor ('Hwarang' and 'Love Wins All' from IU) - Jung Kook has 'Golden' (2023). He also has a bunch of collaborations and singles. His most recent one is 'Never Let Go' (2024) They all have their own style and it's really refreshing because they use it for their group projects as well as their solo projects I'm glad you liked the album but do your stuff, don't worry. We're very enthusiastic about their music but don't feel ppressured or overwhelmed, haha. React to them at your own pace! Also, I really like that you're reacting to full albums because they really work hard on them as one big experience (and often link multiple albums together) so it really honors their hard work 💜
that was a cool reaction! thanks for it. i didn't really think about indigo having a summer vibe before because the album was released in december, but now i will have a strong association with hot summer days because of your cute hawaiian shirts haha I really like that you focus deeply on the music, it makes it especially interesting to watch you. it's funny that you didn't like so much the songs that are my favorites in the album. but it's a matter of taste. i'd like to recommend albums by other bts members if you're interested. actually each of them works in other genres, but I think if you liked RM's material, you might like the others as well. (i'm intentionally not going to write about all the solo albums. they all deserve attention, so I'll just write about a couple of them to make it easier for you to choose). first of all, Jimin's album “Face”. it's mostly pop/rnb, though there are small elements of hip-hop. it's very tasty music. then “Hope on the Street vol.1” by J-Hope. it's actually an ost-album for his documentary about dance, so it's dance music of different genres: hip-hop, funk and others. and lastly V's “Layover”. this is a delicate and soulful album. rnb and jazzy atmosphere prevail here. a comfortable and calming album. hope you like some of these! (i am not a native speaker, so i apologize for any mistakes)
Every Bts member has their own music style in their solo careers. Based on your music taste i can recomend you Golden by Jungkook or Hope In On the Street by Jhope, also Bts as group have songs that your gonna like it 🤗
Definitely do what you want. Don't burn yourself out on one thing and listen to what you're excited about. I really like your reaction style. I'm obviously super curious about your reaction to other members and possibly the whole group. I have a feeling you're probably gonna like J-hope's music. They all have pretty different styles and directions with their solo music though, so it's gonna be a journey. Also, it was mentioned in the comments for sure, but RM is still in the group, as is everyone else. Since they started in 2013 no one has left and if one of them wanted to, I don't think they would keep going as a group, because they're not BTS if it's not all 7. They have gone through some sh*t together, so they're basically brothers and if they chose to go their separate ways as musicians, they would still fully support each other, as they did with these solo projects. Thankfully, for now they have said they want to be together as long as they can, which is another reason why they did solo work and will most likely continue to do so alongside group projects when they come back from the military next year (though Jin is coming back this week, so we might expect some projects from him relatively soon). They need to have that outlet in order for it to work longterm.
I'm so happy you delved more into RM's music and doubly so on how much you enjoyed this album. I knew of and got interested in RM before ever knowing about BTS back in 2016, and I wasn't really into kpop beforehand. I had no idea I'd end up being a fan of the group. Also, glad to hear that you're interested in getting into more BTS stuff, along with your other channel reactions. I'm terrible at catering recs, so I'll rec a couple of the other members' albums: Suga's D-2 and J-hope's Jack in the Box. I see you did a video on Prince, so I'm going to check it out! 👋
I like your rating system. I like that you go back and update us after listening to it for awhile. After indigo and rpwp im super excited to see what rm does next album wise. Hes grown so much from his mixtape days.
As everyone else said each of BTS members want to combine doing their own thing with staying together to have the best of both worlds cause they really feel like a family to each other and they make great music together but what they want to shed is idol identity because its shelf life is very short and it chases youth and all the youthful endevours. They talked at length about longevity of the group so when they are back from the military in 2025 it's going to be interesting to see what route they choose. 💜💜💜

BTS are still in a group. they’re just taking a break to explore their individual art styles and to do their mandatory military service. good news though! seokjin is already done with his and will drop his solo album soon! the rest of the members have dropped theirs before going to the military but all he dropped was a single named the astronaut before leaving. check it out please! the music videos are also extremely important to the music and are a huge part of the experience so please check them out!
Love your reaction! As a person, whose bias (favourite member) not Namjoon (but I really love all af them), a lot of my favourite songs from BTS' discography as a group and solo artists are from his solo albums. Indigo and Right Place, Wrong Person are on top of my favourite albums. I am not into pop music and not really into rap (only into BTS' rap), but I really love indie music, so RPWP for me was perfect. And Indigo is a masterpiece. mono. and RM - two Namjoon's mixtapes I heavily recommend to check out too (RM is not aploaded on Spotify, idk about other platforms). These are very raw and maybe unpolished and I know Namjoon is not happy with some of the songs from it, but you can see him growing as person and an artist. And I am a rapline b*tch, so I will be waiting for you to check out j-hope (Hope World, Jack in the Box and Hope On the Street) and Agust D (Agust D, D-2, D-Day). It would be cool if you'll hear it in chronological order, to see their development, especially Agust D, because his albums are trilogy with cohesive story of his life, trauma and healing. Vocalists (Jungkook, Jimin and V) released only one album each before their military service and Jin didn't have time for album, but he has amazing singl The Astronaut which was a gift to him from Coldplay. Jin is coming home in less than a week, so we all waiting for his album. I forgot if you said which website you use for lyrics, but doolset will be tge best. Love how you announced the first 2 outfit changes and then they just kept happening in between out of nowhere, made me laugh😂 Indigo is out for over 1.5 years and I can’t explain to you what Wildflower still does to me when I listen to it….idk what he put in that song, but it’s so beautiful and I still tear up when listening to it, it’s just that good (well and the lyrics are quite emotional too). I guess other people already told you, but BTS are still together. Currently they are just not active (well as a group and solo) because they are in the military….well 6 of them, because today is a big day: Jin, the oldest member, has completed his service today and got discharged from the military🎉🎉🎉 (SO excited!) I am pretty sure there are a lot of BTS albums that you would like a lot or even other solo albums. (I think others already gave you enough recommendations, I probably would just repeat😅) Love your reactions, they are very fun to watch!

It's so great to hear that you will not halt making your usual content. We are so use to seeing these reactors start with BTS and then switch their channel completely to k-pop for clout. They usually drop BTS along with their original content eventually anyways so I just stop watching them. Whether it be western or international acts, I'd watch it as long as you are giving your honest thoughts. Keep it up! Also, try using doolset's lyrics next time. Especially if Mono is coming up later. With that album being more relaxed, It may not be your taste, but maybe you can at least appreciate the lyricism.
You might like the song Don't Ever Say Love Me by Colde ft RM. I'd love to see you react to RM's Mono album. It does have one vibe throughout but it is an awesome vibe and the song Moonchild is to die for. Go at the pace you want to go and we'll keep recommending things.💜

Eric is very well know for NOT appearing on other people's songs but she did it for RM. RM did a Tiny Desk Concert where he talks about the stories behind his songs. It's about his favourite Korean Arts (painter) and he said 'Before you do art you need to be a human' and that's what RM is talking about being a true human being. RM has an high IQ of 148 and love's art museums a deep reader and thinker. Still life it inspired by RM's visit to a museum and talks about 'Still Life' eg a painter paints a piece of still art it was a flower and RM said it made him think that the flower is died 100 years ago but the painter has give it a reborn by painting it. Don't worry about part 1 because BTS and the individual members if they want to use a title that's already been used by them as a group track or solo track they'll just reuse the title and but add part 2. So there's already and song called 'Change' for the BTS members. RM wrote 'Lonely' when he was stuck in a hotel room for 2 weeks in the USA under quantine due to covid. Wild Flower RM got Youjeen to come out of retirement to be on the track, she was the Front Woman of the South Korean Rock Bank called 'Cherry Filter'. I would highly recommend RM's Tiny Desk Concert and his interview with Pharrell He says the album is a walk through his 20's but he's just said to in his chat with his band mate Jimin that he felt he buried his anger while in his lastest album Right Place Wrong Person he's let out his anger. Jimin also said to RM that he felt that's just what RM had done. I would recommend that 'Listening Party' chat they had. RM invited Jimin to his house, Jimin arrived with the food the ate, talked and listen to bits of the RPWP album etc. RM place it full of art and piles of books every where.

As far as i can tell youre also a pretty big twenty one pilots fan so i think since you like them, the BTS solo album i think you'll like best is probably D-Day by Agust D/Suga/Min Yoongi, who is another BTS member, he's got that rock/rap vibe that i love about top and they talk about very similar subject matter like mental health, trauma and the nature of humanity, though agust d talks more about politics than twenty one pilots does! Ive always found tyler joseph's and yoongi's writing style super similar, using metaphor and personal experiences to write about deep subjects. I think you'll really like that album! and as for a non-bts album suggestion i think you might enjoy a watsky album! i would recommend All You Can Do by watsky! its like THE watsky album to me
So glad you enjoyed this album! I think it does have more stand alone songs than RPWP. Change pt.2, Closer, and Wildflower are some of my favorites. If you want to continue the BTS solo projects, I would recommend Suga's 3 mixtape/albums. His artist name for his solo stuff is Agust D. Totally understand wanting to explore other artists though. There's a lot of BTS stuff, so take your time and enjoy the ride.

I read some of the comments and saw that you said that you plan to listen to the other members' solo albums and I'm excited for all of them, but even more so for V's layover (kim taehyung) it's my favorite solo album.
Some other songs by RM that are amazing are Forever Rain, Moonchild, Don’t, Smoke Sprite, Trivia Love. If you haven’t seen the music video for Wildflower it’s amazing! Please also check out Jimin Serendipity, Jimin Like Crazy, Jimin Set Me Free pt 2, Face Off Jimin, Alone Jimin. He is a member of BTS and has a really unique voice as well. Another artist I love is Woosung from the band The Rose his solo songs Face, Lazy, Dimples, Come Down are my favs

RM is definitely still very much with BTS. While yes, he needed a break from the "industry" per se and he did take some physical space (his words) in order to touch base with himself as an individual (which makes sense since he's been in the position of leader of the group for 10 years starting at the age of 18) which is what 2023 was for him and what birthed the RPWP project, he is still very much a member of BTS and very proud of that. They are way more to each other than just band mates, they are family (their words). They have also gained a position not only within the industry at a scale that is unreachable for any other group, they also have a position within their company that will allow them to make different decisions for their well-being then they were able to the 1st half of the career as they were trying to "make it" as the underdogs of SK.
Anderson actually is bestie with bts and he went to their concert with his family and played the drums for one of their performances check it out it's called yet to come

Namjoon composed all these songs and wrote the lyrics to all of them (including the line "Do you remember the smell of grass when you were young?") lyrics for the features of all the songs except All Night, Closer, and Hectic. This album really displays the diversity and range of his musicality.

all of bts members are still in bts, but they all have solo releases. it's just their way to keep a healthy relationship and an outlet for personal thoughts and stories. such structure to their work is completely normal, guys were releasing solo works even before group's hiatus that happened because of conscription
all of the boys repeat time and time again that they really miss working as a group and can't wait to reunite in 2025. they are really like brothers, like family. they are able to give each other space when needed and are really supportive of other's solo work and achievements. not a malicious bone in their bodies
as armys we perceive both group and solo bodies of work as bts "lore". boys promote their solo releases as "member of bts" as well. it's all interconnected, simply because in both group in solo projects they have always been writing music themselves and were honest with it

But honestly my first listen of RPWP ended with "Huh. Well that was an album, I guess. VERY experimental." Then I came back to it a week later with lyrics and suddenly I loved every part of it. I think the experimentalness of RPWP can be a bit jarring at first if you're not used to listening to experimental music.

for your comments on the first song youre almost there. youre right and wrong. so its not about bts being in the group or being with the members as friends/family and its not about their label either but it is about the industry and their govt trying to use them as koreas representatives.
so like yes hes trying to escape but not from bts or army or their label. he wants to make music with the group and as a solo artist without all the pressure to represent kpop or korea when majority of the people forcing him to represent were the ones who treated bts like trash when bts were unknown and to a extent still do through media and behind their back thats why they dont know who to trust besides each other and their label bighit not even the overall hybe company they cant trust everyone there because everyone is trying to use bts while also tearing them down so they can climb above them.

Also to answer your question RM is BTS. Yes his solo music is his individual soul. But there is no bts without rm or rm without bts. You have to hear the members of bts talk and interact and listen to more of their albums to fully get it.
BTSs musical discography journey is divided into parts by the group themselves.
Chapter 1 is BTS's first 9 years
(2013- 2021) as a group and their group's conceptual discography about being growing humans.
We are currently in
Chapter 2 (2022- present)
Chapter 2 is basically about exploring their individual sides and colours (all still while being part of bts. They don't have to split to make solo music like western groups lmaoo. They have freedom. They have healthy relationships with each other and their music label)
In member jhopes words ch2 is "spending time apart to learn to be one again".
They are doing this to explore and preserve their individuality, to not get lost in the industry and loose their musicality. So they are all one by one releasing solo albums and projects.
After that will be chapter 3 which will be after their reunion which will show a new musical side to bts both as a group and individuals.

I totally get wanting to not be stuck reacting to just one artist and I appreciate you a lot for being honest abt it and giving us a heads up. A lot of reactors push out a bunch of BTS reactions bc they do well, they grow their channel and eventually they stop reacting to BTS. So again, Ty for being straightforward from the beginning.
Genius is not the worst place for lyrics, but doolset is even better, it is fan made and they give a bunch more context and explanations on their Korean lyrics, I would specially recommend you check out the lyrics for WildFlower, Still Life and Yun there to reach an ever greater level of appreciation for the songs and RM’s lyricism.
And for other artist reactions, can you clarify if it’s any artist or if you want to stick western artists? It’s cool either way, just wondering.
Any artists in general, I would say I prefer to listen to western artists just because that’s more in my comfort zone/ it’s what I grew up on, but I like listening to other stuff every so often so that I can expand my horizons

They all do their stuff but they're all still part of BTS. It's probably one of the reasons they're able to stay together. They have a lot of artistic freedom as a group and have always been able to express themselves in their solo work on the side. They've been a group since 2013 until now, and they worked together for even longer (~2010-2012 depending on when the members joined as trainees). They are on a hiatus only because of their mandatory military service and took the opportunity to focus on their solo careers
- Jin has a few solo songs: The Astronaut (2022), Abyss, Tonight, and Super Tuna. As well as OSTs and solos on BTS albums. We are patiently hoping for an album soon 🙏
- SUGA has 'Agust D' (2016) and 'D-2' (2020) and 'D-Day' (2023) as Agust D. Plus collaborations, productions for other artists and solos on BTS albums as SUGA

I really like that you focus deeply on the music, it makes it especially interesting to watch you. it's funny that you didn't like so much the songs that are my favorites in the album. but it's a matter of taste.
i'd like to recommend albums by other bts members if you're interested. actually each of them works in other genres, but I think if you liked RM's material, you might like the others as well.
(i'm intentionally not going to write about all the solo albums. they all deserve attention, so I'll just write about a couple of them to make it easier for you to choose).
first of all, Jimin's album “Face”. it's mostly pop/rnb, though there are small elements of hip-hop. it's very tasty music.
then “Hope on the Street vol.1” by J-Hope. it's actually an ost-album for his documentary about dance, so it's dance music of different genres: hip-hop, funk and others.
and lastly V's “Layover”. this is a delicate and soulful album. rnb and jazzy atmosphere prevail here. a comfortable and calming album.

Definitely do what you want. Don't burn yourself out on one thing and listen to what you're excited about. I really like your reaction style. I'm obviously super curious about your reaction to other members and possibly the whole group. I have a feeling you're probably gonna like J-hope's music. They all have pretty different styles and directions with their solo music though, so it's gonna be a journey.
Also, it was mentioned in the comments for sure, but RM is still in the group, as is everyone else. Since they started in 2013 no one has left and if one of them wanted to, I don't think they would keep going as a group, because they're not BTS if it's not all 7. They have gone through some sh*t together, so they're basically brothers and if they chose to go their separate ways as musicians, they would still fully support each other, as they did with these solo projects. Thankfully, for now they have said they want to be together as long as they can, which is another reason why they did solo work and will most likely continue to do so alongside group projects when they come back from the military next year (though Jin is coming back this week, so we might expect some projects from him relatively soon). They need to have that outlet in order for it to work longterm.

I knew of and got interested in RM before ever knowing about BTS back in 2016, and I wasn't really into kpop beforehand. I had no idea I'd end up being a fan of the group.

As everyone else said each of BTS members want to combine doing their own thing with staying together to have the best of both worlds cause they really feel like a family to each other and they make great music together but what they want to shed is idol identity because its shelf life is very short and it chases youth and all the youthful endevours. They talked at length about longevity of the group so when they are back from the military in 2025 it's going to be interesting to see what route they choose. 💜💜💜

BTS are still in a group. they’re just taking a break to explore their individual art styles and to do their mandatory military service. good news though! seokjin is already done with his and will drop his solo album soon! the rest of the members have dropped theirs before going to the military but all he dropped was a single named the astronaut before leaving. check it out please! the music videos are also extremely important to the music and are a huge part of the experience so please check them out!

As a person, whose bias (favourite member) not Namjoon (but I really love all af them), a lot of my favourite songs from BTS' discography as a group and solo artists are from his solo albums. Indigo and Right Place, Wrong Person are on top of my favourite albums. I am not into pop music and not really into rap (only into BTS' rap), but I really love indie music, so RPWP for me was perfect. And Indigo is a masterpiece.
mono. and RM - two Namjoon's mixtapes I heavily recommend to check out too (RM is not aploaded on Spotify, idk about other platforms). These are very raw and maybe unpolished and I know Namjoon is not happy with some of the songs from it, but you can see him growing as person and an artist.
And I am a rapline b*tch, so I will be waiting for you to check out j-hope (Hope World, Jack in the Box and Hope On the Street) and Agust D (Agust D, D-2, D-Day). It would be cool if you'll hear it in chronological order, to see their development, especially Agust D, because his albums are trilogy with cohesive story of his life, trauma and healing.
Vocalists (Jungkook, Jimin and V) released only one album each before their military service and Jin didn't have time for album, but he has amazing singl The Astronaut which was a gift to him from Coldplay. Jin is coming home in less than a week, so we all waiting for his album.

Hi. Just wanted to say, I looked through your "songs that are built differently" playlist, and I absolutely agree with you. I don't know all the songs on that playlist, but the songs I saw that I know... 💯... consider Eurythmics though... I forgot the name of the song, but it's a classic and Rasmus "In the shadows".

Indigo is out for over 1.5 years and I can’t explain to you what Wildflower still does to me when I listen to it….idk what he put in that song, but it’s so beautiful and I still tear up when listening to it, it’s just that good (well and the lyrics are quite emotional too).
I guess other people already told you, but BTS are still together. Currently they are just not active (well as a group and solo) because they are in the military….well 6 of them, because today is a big day: Jin, the oldest member, has completed his service today and got discharged from the military🎉🎉🎉 (SO excited!)
I am pretty sure there are a lot of BTS albums that you would like a lot or even other solo albums. (I think others already gave you enough recommendations, I probably would just repeat😅)

I think it’s so funny that you felt summer vibes out of this album bc it was released in December so I will forever associate it with that time of the year. But you do have a point, some of these songs are summer material
It's so great to hear that you will not halt making your usual content. We are so use to seeing these reactors start with BTS and then switch their channel completely to k-pop for clout. They usually drop BTS along with their original content eventually anyways so I just stop watching them.
Whether it be western or international acts, I'd watch it as long as you are giving your honest thoughts. Keep it up! Also, try using doolset's lyrics next time. Especially if Mono is coming up later. With that album being more relaxed, It may not be your taste, but maybe you can at least appreciate the lyricism.

You might like the song Don't Ever Say Love Me by Colde ft RM. I'd love to see you react to RM's Mono album. It does have one vibe throughout but it is an awesome vibe and the song Moonchild is to die for. Go at the pace you want to go and we'll keep recommending things.💜

getting to know bts is a long ride, so many different genres, themes and eras. especially through their solo albums, you’ll feel that they’re completely different from one another and how mesmerising it is that they could actually be BTS for 11 years (& more!). other than being talented artists, they’re also good people.. hope they’ll bring you some happiness and good time too ☺️

Eric is very well know for NOT appearing on other people's songs but she did it for RM.
RM did a Tiny Desk Concert where he talks about the stories behind his songs. It's about his favourite Korean Arts (painter) and he said 'Before you do art you need to be a human' and that's what RM is talking about being a true human being. RM has an high IQ of 148 and love's art museums a deep reader and thinker.
Still life it inspired by RM's visit to a museum and talks about 'Still Life' eg a painter paints a piece of still art it was a flower and RM said it made him think that the flower is died 100 years ago but the painter has give it a reborn by painting it.
Don't worry about part 1 because BTS and the individual members if they want to use a title that's already been used by them as a group track or solo track they'll just reuse the title and but add part 2.
So there's already and song called 'Change' for the BTS members.
RM wrote 'Lonely' when he was stuck in a hotel room for 2 weeks in the USA under quantine due to covid.
Wild Flower RM got Youjeen to come out of retirement to be on the track, she was the Front Woman of the South Korean Rock Bank called 'Cherry Filter'.

He says the album is a walk through his 20's but he's just said to in his chat with his band mate Jimin that he felt he buried his anger while in his lastest album Right Place Wrong Person he's let out his anger. Jimin also said to RM that he felt that's just what RM had done. I would recommend that 'Listening Party' chat they had. RM invited Jimin to his house, Jimin arrived with the food the ate, talked and listen to bits of the RPWP album etc. RM place it full of art and piles of books every where.

• Jin, singer (he doesn't have an album out yet, because he enlisted in the military, but he has some random solo songs you can do) - The Astronaut (Coldplay co-wrote this for him, they also played some of the instruments. Coldplay and BTS have a good relationship), Yours (It's part of a kdrama soundtrack), Abyss, Super Tuna (this one is something he did just for fun, don't take it seriously). They're all on Spotify!

• Suga, rapper - Although his latest one is "D-Day", based on your taste with the RM albums, I would recommend doing his "D-2" mixtape, it's on Spotify as well. Oh, and *all his solo works outside BTS are under the name AgustD, not Suga, so look for the AgustD profile*

For other kpop artists, I really enjoy Dean (he only has one album 😭), IU (her album LILAC is really good), and NewJeans
For western artists it's harder since I don't tend to listen to albums, but have you listened to Paramore's latest one? "This is why", it's REALLYYY good. I also do enjoy myself some Arctic Monkeys (AM) and Taylor Swift (Folklore, Midnights)....
Paramore is a great suggestion! I actually haven’t listened to any of their albums in full before but I love a lot of their songs :)

I’d also recommend Halsey. Her songs hit differently, and you could do a reaction to a collab with bts’s suga , they did the Diablo V soundtrack together (lillith 😎)

hey just watched your twenty one pilots reaction and your other RM reaction! Im a huge fan of both twenty one pilots and BTS! As far as i can tell youre also a pretty big twenty one pilots fan so i think since you like them, the BTS solo album i think you'll like best is probably D-Day by Agust D/Suga/Min Yoongi, who is another BTS member,
he's got that rock/rap vibe that i love about top and they talk about very similar subject matter like mental health, trauma and the nature of humanity, though agust d talks more about politics than twenty one pilots does! Ive always found tyler joseph's and yoongi's writing style super similar, using metaphor and personal experiences to write about deep subjects. I think you'll really like that album!
and as for a non-bts album suggestion i think you might enjoy a watsky album! i would recommend All You Can Do by watsky! its like THE watsky album to me
So glad you enjoyed this album! I think it does have more stand alone songs than RPWP. Change pt.2, Closer, and Wildflower are some of my favorites.
If you want to continue the BTS solo projects, I would recommend Suga's 3 mixtape/albums. His artist name for his solo stuff is Agust D. Totally understand wanting to explore other artists though. There's a lot of BTS stuff, so take your time and enjoy the ride.

I was listening to the album only yesterday while gardening in my front garden playing on my CD player siting on a stall while I was attacking the hedge with gardening shears.
I read some of the comments and saw that you said that you plan to listen to the other members' solo albums and I'm excited for all of them, but even more so for V's layover (kim taehyung) it's my favorite solo album.
Some other songs by RM that are amazing are Forever Rain, Moonchild, Don’t, Smoke Sprite, Trivia Love. If you haven’t seen the music video for Wildflower it’s amazing! Please also check out Jimin Serendipity, Jimin Like Crazy, Jimin Set Me Free pt 2, Face Off Jimin, Alone Jimin. He is a member of BTS and has a really unique voice as well. Another artist I love is Woosung from the band The Rose his solo songs Face, Lazy, Dimples, Come Down are my favs
Yesss a fellow Change pt2 lover! It’s probably my favourite on the album but it’s definitely not for everyone which I get cause it’s quite ‘experimental’ but it just scratches something in the back of my brain, especially the outro which sounds like RM’s cursing someone’s bloodline or something. So glad you gave Indigo a go and enjoyed it as much as we hoped you would! Also thanks for updating us on your plans going forward, sounds good and can’t wait to see what other artists you give a listen to
