I wanted to personally thank you for making this video. I successfully did my seal kit on my massey 275 due to this tutorial. Video was awesome! Please keep the videos coming!

As a spanner man all me life...I can tell U ... ur making that job look very hard ..Iv done loads off pump seals and gaskets and rusted stopper arms inside the pump..did one on a JCB ...3D BMC engine .... loading arms down... wow what a job to get at...I took the pump cover off a 6 .354 in a boat...I had NO glasses ...all i could C was a blob off ally feel with the fingers..did it because i had covers off a lot off pumps over and I new what i was doing..helo from ireland.😉
You’re a man with a gifting, some are not like you, this work was done as it’s without more than a good will to fixing without call for a hard to find old tractor mechanic or a perfect professional like you. , so please video tape you work to help people like us., and show the correct way to do
@worldclasssaddlery. OK because I'm getting fuel from the filter over to the injector but the tractor just cranks and won't start. thanks for the information though.
There is a electronic fuel solenoid on the pump , keyed power activates the solenoid so that you have fuel & so that when you turn off your key the fuel is shut off , that is unless you have a choke type knob to pull . In this vid it appears as this is a first for this gentleman,, for more info go to briansmoble 1,, he shows rebuild of the CAV
Why is it when someone posts a how to I am amazed at the lack of knowledge of the individual appearing on the video . you are dealing with a precisoin piece of equipment and yet you do not even consider mentioning nor actually cleaning the pump BEFORE working on it ,using the wrong tools potentially causing damage to the pump and fittings. TURN THE FUEL OFF FIRST! of course the unknowing viewer will see something that is helpfull ,you are passing on poor information. Please at least rehearse hyour video and use the correct tools.

hey quick question. Does a wire coming off the alternator power that pump.
its not electric the pumps on this model
