You might need it. This happened to us last fall. Wind caught it and bent the front 3rd of the underbelly towards the back. I pulled over, pulled out my knife and cut it. Luckily I had some zip ties and tied things up so the wires wouldn't hit or the wind wouldn't damage them. Now I need to fix it. Kind of dreading it but it's gotta be done. Keep that extra coroplast in case you're tire has a blowout.
Black Coroplast in 4 x 8 sheets is available at Tractor Supply Company in packs of 10 sheets. Save on shipping by having the product ship directly to your local store.
We have a 395 (tri-axle is the key) we found that driving in a LOT of rain puts water in the underbelly between the first two axles. The slide out rack and pinion comes through the frame with gaps around it. The tires were coating the area in water. I sealed it, and THINK we fixed the problems.
Holy shit, you actually have insulation under your trailer. I have a covid camper. Forest river forgot that on my Wolfpack 25pack12. The underbelly drops all the time . I have gone through rolls of duct tape on the highway when it is dragging down the road. My trailer is just over 2yrs old. I am so pissed off. I still owe 35k on it
Yes, the insulation is R-7. For those low hanging bulges of the underbelly I used 2 lengths of super struts that go across to each frame rail and they simply clamp on to the bottom edge of the I-beam, no drilling. Available at H.D.
Yikes 😳. I’m glad everything worked out great. New subscribers here

Do you have a picture of the struts installed? Not sure what you are referencing. Thanks
