    The new Pyro Solver has been reorganized to make it easier to use, especially in Minimal mode where you can use your GPU to run the sim. Learn about the Quick Settings which make it easy to initialize sources, create your Pyro look or create a Render stage for working in Solaris. Learn all about the settings needed to create compelling fire and smoke then learn how to use Pyro to drive other kinds of effects.

    Even tho I already know how to use the pyro solver the amount of information in this video for the time it takes 🤯

    These videos are great but I don't understand why everything is cut so closely together, you have to watch it 3 or 4 times just to get the info

    This was too quick for me to understand. This video is probably for veterans of pyro who want a refresher. Too fast for intermediate or beginners.

    Hi, is there a way to spread pyro on the surface of a mesh and use this to distort the mesh's UV coords? I'm trying to achieve a kind of liquifying a texture on a UVd mesh. Amazing tutorial by the way!

    Advection in pyro solver, what does plug into that? Is it where I could plug in the velocity field of some particles for example? Quote interested to know.

    Did you Know EmberGen , the real-time simulation software?Houdini may do more effort on real-time

    • @Channel-ng2cd
      @Channel-ng2cd 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Embergen, while powerful, tends to be much harder to get as good as a result as houdini, with less detail and simulation options, so its great for games and all, but probs not as good as houdini for something like a movie.

    Having an issue with rendering in karma. It won't render the colors in the AttribAdjustColor, just the standard smoke color.
    It shows the colors in the viewport, but not in the render.
    I followed the tut exactly.

      I deleted the Alpha attribute from volume rasterize node then readded/resimmed and that seemed to fix it for me

    very cool! does minimal mean sparse or something else?

    • @gigaturok
      @gigaturok 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, the OpenCL Minimal Solver uses regular dense grids. What it does is disabling features of the Smoke Solver that you usually don't need for prototyping simulations, so it can load the entire sim to VRAM once, solve it there and avoid having to copy new sim data to the GPU.
