Well well well, what a tool. Got one for my Daughter last week and she is doing well with it at the moment. Well engineered well presented and all in all a superbly thought out tool, this will a be taking the place of quite a few picks in my kit. Just have to coax it back off the daughter. Thanks brother, a little bit different to the one you had as they have removable upstands. More user friendly. They feel great but the old fixed ones still work great 👍🏻
I never had that multi gauge pick, it’s a very old design. My picks have better stoping points than any other pick I’ve used. Almost all of them are not correct and will make it impossible to pick some locks from bolt side. Plus mine is cheaper 😊
Purchased the multigauge pick in box and the fortress wires and what can I say ? I dont know Chris and so have no loyalties. 1. His customer service was good he told me before Christmas when he was likely to be making more orders and emailed me to confirm a order. 2. The order arrived when he said it would and was packaged well. 3. The pick is well made and fits both 7 gauge and 5 gauge locks well with no sloppiness unlike other picks 4. The pick wires are good 5. I personally like the amount of clearance you have for your wires all the way along the pick. 6. The pick gives you a good chance of picking mortice locks the tool is good the wires are good and so if you cant pick them you know its your skill level not the tool, how do I know this ? Im not a good mortice picker but Im having more success using this pick. 7. When you combine all this with the price its one excellent bit of kit
I think I'm going to buy one of these from you! I've made a few lever padlock picks but, the one's I made for locks like the ERA Fortress, haven't been successful at opening! I think some quality, precision tools like the pair, on this video, and I'l be quite successful!!!!

Looks good. I have the CB MG and find it hit and miss. How does your pick compare. Any info would be appreciated.

Fuck the grub screw for an upstand always. There are a few picks that use a grub screw for the upstand. I use stainless steel pins. Thank you mate 👍🏻
