Thank you very much for this video. Do you know if the wooden piece with grommets is the only difference between this one made for a floor stand and the regular table loom? I haven’t been able to find a lot of information on this loom on a floor stand. I’m trying to figure out if I can alter mine to work on a floor stand. It doesn’t have that wooden piece. Do the treadle cords run straight up and in between the shafts? Thanks for your help!
Hi! I believe the wooden piece is the only change to the loom, although if your loom doesn't have holes in the base for the small bolt that attaches it to the treadle stand, those may need to be drilled, also. I have some clearer photos of the wooden piece and how it is attached and also how the loom attaches to the base. Happy to share those if you would like to contact me via email. Hello, I was gifted what I think is a Rasmussen table loom, which is mounted on a stand. Along with this gift was 4 treadles, but I cannot figure out how to connect the treadles to the hand-controls. Can you help me with this? Thank you!
In the video, at 1 min 18 sec, I show how to take the cord coming from the treadle and connect it to the cord for the shafts. Is that not what you are looking for? Once the treadle is connected, the handle is disconnected. If you still have questions, i'm happy to try and help more over email. Let me know if that's okay.

I’m not 100% certain, but I believe it was from Rasmussen, as well. I’ve had two at different times and both had the same stand, although neither were marked by Rasmussen, as the loom is.

I just got a used one, i have no clye about looms, i m just wondering if you can direct me to a giod tutorial on huw to use thus kind of loom.
Is the treadle stand you're using also Rasmussen, or were you able to make another manufacturer's work on your Rasmussen loom?
