Before Kadita is released, I've always thought that this will be one of her passive..

The reasoning is quite simple, Kadita is the queen of Southern Sea while Dolia is only a mermaid priestess. Kadita isn't mermaid by nature but was saved by mystical sea creatures then imbued her with immense magic, in assumption that Kadita's magic can allow her to shapeshift, of course she can turn her legs to fish tail at will, perhaps to help her swim faster. Dolia on the other hand is mermaid since birth, so she naturally have a fish tail. Dolia might gain the ability to shift her tail for legs after her magic training to become the mermaid priestess.
This is all my assumption based on limited information I know, correct me if I'm wrong

Dolia is one of those heroes alongside with Heino was a product of love from the HoK devs. With many songs created to them (which was removed from spotify sadge), multiple trailers, and even a theme song from their latest skin. . . It's like Seraphine levels of advertisement minus the backlash and twitter rampage.
And both hero always get banned 😅

Pro tip when using Dolia:
1. When shes in the water and you use her Skill 1 and go out of the water, the Skill 1 would still do the knocback version instead of the only slow version
2. You can use skill 1 THEN go skill 2 or into a body of water and it would turn into the knockback version instead of just slow
I also recommend using a tankier build instead of a more cooldown/damage build for her

God when she and Heino had to forget each other if she sings the mermaid song to save the towns people from destruction cuz pollution made a huge sea monster to wake up faster than expected.Heino spent many years trying to remember the song.He only remembered it when he was old, and cuz Heino has time magic which he used to help them find the song. Heino didn’t want Dolia to sing the song cuz he didn’t want them to forget each other😢. In the end they end up passing each other 😢

Ive been thinking this for long.. the reason why Kadita can't do this might be because she's scared of staying underwate or she can't sustain it for a long time (her passive is named Thalassophobia - the fear of ocean/large bodies of water) which is a direct irony since she's an ocean goddess lol.
Lam can also swim when using his 1st skill and it's such a great attention to detail and it makes the map feel more interactive and alive. You can even hear frogs croaking 😂

Yes, it might look good and strange at the same time. It requires sufficient depth to swim and will look strange to other heroes because it looks like it can walk on the water surface
Here's an idea for Kadita.
It'll rain in land of dawn from the start of the match until the end(like Yi sun shin's base). This rain will cause flood in the river area and her skills deal double damage there and would recover her hp over time if she's out of battle.
The double damage is too much i think maybe 15% movement speed bunos fixed +50 damage from skills and mana regen because if its hp she would be too sustainable in mid lane or even as tank roamer
That's just basically new meta if you give her any attribute at all

Ngl, the matchmaking in HOK is pretty good.Ofc losing is still possible with a good team, but I haven't been in a team of idiots, which is a good thing for me.

Some of the skins like Mystic skin of DiaoChan are quite innovative.
ML doesn't have such kind of innovation.
Not just Dolia, but there are other HoK heroes that also have some of the most interesting and daring mechanics to be placed in a mobile MOBA, like Agudo and Jing for example

I used to main Kadita and I really wanted her to have more interaction with the river, maybe not entirely turn into a mermaid like Dolia but her skills have different or more effect if she used it in or on the river if that makes sense

I swear that this was one of my suggestions for kadita revamp years ago that on river she becomes a mermaid hence having dmg reduction or shield and higher movement speed as long as she is on river but as always we are ignored by the devs

- passive: turns into mermaid in water, get extra move speed
- S2: after launching enemies, leave a pool of water for 10s
- S1: if the wave touches the pool of water from S2, it will detonate, damage, and launch enemies for a short time
- ult: using ult on water reduces its CD by 30%

This is very personal between the two companies because if China didn’t have lax copyright laws MLBB would have been forced to be deleted. Look at old Clint and Lady Sun for an obvious example.
Dolia is the main reason I played hok even before global release (I played in Brazil server) and god is she so amazing. Imagine being able to fight in the battlefield while still slaying in looks and vocals? Sign me up xD
First of all, Kadita based on Nyai Roro Kidul never a Mermaid
But yeah, she should be able to stand and surfing the literal Ocean Wave but River? Ocean is made of Salt Water while River was made of Fresh Water.
There's nothing said Nyai Roro Kidul can control Fresh Water as she only appear in South Java coast (Ocean) rarely if you wear full Green clothes
Dolia skill is so unique allowing her to react with the terrain(river) instead of just being for visual purpose...for kadita there is no need for her to receive a buff just bcs shes a mermaid does that mean bane should also recaive a buff in the river cz hes a sea creature...bruhh

I think kadita is more of queen of southern sea(base of queen rara kidul) so ether leg or fin it ok ... But what her distinguish feature is she drag any one that came to her domains in to the sea abyss (which is her ult) and it actually more good effect... She just need abit more skin and heck the last time create skin need to get her the attention she need....

If he go under water he can stay inside water as long as much he can.......but when he swims on the land....it will cooldown

I sent this idea that I made 2 years ago that whenever kadita is in the river her skills change and she can swim and have movement speed boost, that second skill of dolia, it's like the idea that I sent them where she can dive to a certain distance and the waves will become fan shape and can knock back enemies it's still the same damage but her skills will be more complex when she's in the river

My sugestion: why not make Odette become a swan around the river, she will gain ms so that she could rotate and help other lanes fast

To be honest, Dolia is a mermaid, Kadita is not. So I don't think swimming might be perfect for Kadita, if anything she should be like Khaleed, riding waves of water in the river, not swimming in it. And again just visual like Hororo said, but riding the wave is more Kadita who is a queen and not a mermaid or siren.

@@richard-rt4ie Kadita is inspired from Indonesian Folklore Kandita, an Indonesian Underwater Princess in the Java Sea called Nyi Roro Kidul. She has sea creature characteristics but she is not a mermaid. She's also know for riding waves as well as water manipulation (that's why her skills can manipulate water).

It's just a guess so I could be wrong about this, but what if it's a legal issue. Like they already had the lawsuit with Riot games and just didn't want to fight a second legal battle with the owner of HOK for copying something as unique as that passive.
I want moontoon to revamp kadita give her like a selena ult for her mermaid form it's gonna be more aoe attacks while her human for focus on bursting people this way we can see her swimming 🥰
I started to play hok like a month and I'm addicted to it. There is possiblity that i will uninstall mlbb after all the lag, the matches and the unbalance hero is getting to my nerves 😅. I will feel sad for all my mlbb skins which i cant let go 😢

Kadita was "NEVER' a mermaid. Kadita was a beautiful princess of the Pajajaran Kingdom. Her beauty was said to be unparalleled, which made her a target of jealousy and envy, particularly from her stepmother. Out of envy, her stepmother cast a spell on Kadita, causing her to suffer from a severe skin disease. This caused her to be cast out of the palace, as her appearance was seen as a bad omen. Kadita wandered through the forests and eventually reached the southern coast. She prayed for her suffering to end, and upon entering the ocean, she was miraculously healed. The ocean spirits welcomed her, and she transformed into a powerful sea goddess, Nyi Roro Kidul. As Nyi Roro Kidul, she became the ruler of the southern seas, known for her beauty and mystical powers. She is often depicted wearing green, the color of the ocean.
Comes from Javanesse (indonesian) folklore.
Hence Blame moonton for making her a mermaid and not a goddess

i've also been waiting for a hero with a passive like that in ml, they should release another hero, like Grock, that uses the map for its advantage.
Why Kadita can’t do that, it’s because she’s not a mermaid in the first place. Based on the legend she’s a queen and never has she pictured having a mermaid tail in any of her illustrations or paintings. It’s just Moonton modifying her design. But now that I think of it, it seems like her entrance concept copied Dolia’s? (from mermaid to human legs). Cmiiw.
Rather than demanding Moonton to make Kadita has Dolia’s ability, how about changing her entrance and skills animation instead? Wouldn’t it be cooler if she’s pictured sitting on her throne in the ocean then emerge to the land riding her chariot gracefully? For the skills she can summon ocean waves like tsunami and her chariot from the sea to hit enemies. Gives more queen vibe rather than making her a cute mermaid.
Kadita is a, or seems to be, just a floating human, clad in a mermaid gown that becomes a true mermaid tail when she rides this wave of her, or she goes "underwater" in her ult. Her mermaid theme is purely aesthetic purpose only. Kinda lame to be honest. But a lot of Mermaid heroes from other popular MOBA games are similar to this like Medusa (DOTA 1 only) and Naga Siren doesn't have anything to do with water, as well as Nami from LOL. (Though water walking in LOL as well as Agahim's scepter effect for Slardar are present in this game, ML also has that river current effect) This goes to show that HOK really thought very well of creating a mermaid hero like Dolia that interacts with watery terrain of their map. Their design is outstanding.
dyk when dolia is in the water her 1st skill will be enhanced and knock the enemys, her 2nd skill won't go away unless you're not inside of her 2nd skill and lastly her ult reset the skill of your teammate 1 recent skill that has been casted (only in one teammate)
Kadita is a flying mermaid, and can only swim using 1st and ult skill. Maybe its the easiest way to do it? Anyway dolia is pretty cool, even her details and concept model in the battlefield looks realistic.
Kadita with passive healing and movement speed in the river. They can remove the healing from attacks. Kadita has been ignored for a very long time.

this is beacause of her lore rather than moontons workers being lazy...and besides that shes already strong as she is rather just changing her passive to follow the lore would be great ....like get this she was once a queen that had been poisened and been throw to the sea to die and the sea creatures helped her to revive her back but now she was not the queen you knew ..shes now a mystical creature... soo what im saying is when her health drops below 20% she becomes a stronger and more powerfull version and all her skill get empowered and this new passive would last about 5 sec and it would heal abit of her missing health and it would be on cooldown for 120s......this is somehow like auroras passive

The reason is simple, normal people can walk on the river and that is mean that the river is short not deep.
Ml should give a feature where some heroes can interact with the terrain, like how Ling can jump on walls, or Natalie's passive on bushes

I hope HoK adds or changes their river or add more river banks. Two top and bottom. Two on the sides and an X in the middle so that dolia and lam can swim more. Please spread the word.
How i wish there's also a ML hero with a music concept with a similar version of dolia/doria. Deym that would be good 😂

I smell the era of MLBB vs HOK now in the horizon, and I'm not kidding. I'm enjoying HOK alot lately.
I think the only thing they can do is to remake the skill of kadita. The character overall is good but the skill isn't impressive, they can more enhance of it so it may look OP.
I was actually hoping for kadita to swim in the water(increase movement speed), but i just realized the old map doesn't have water, so i guess they didn't add the swimming part.
While we're on this topic we should also ask why can Cirrus fly in HoK and Kaja can't? That would be the best buff ever for Kaja if he could also fly thru terrain like Cirrus.
Her 1st skill is her swimming with her own water and way faster than dolia. Her 1st skill is immune to CC and can pierce to the wall or stones to avoid the enemy. I think that's fair.

I dunno, man. Chronologically, Kadita was created first before Tencent even thought of creating Dolia. So in this case, Tencent took the 'mermaid' archetype and did better than how Moonton did theirs (with Kadita). The mermaid archetype has been a pretty common occurence in MOBA, although it started with League of Legends' Nami. However, if we count the non-humanoid 'slithering fish' characters like Kil'Groth (AOV), Slardar and Naga Siren (Dota), we already know that 'mermaid' is a common theme.
Ah, ah. Before I end this, let me just make this clear. People who just resort to short sentences which revolve to 'Moonton just lazy/greedy'... they are not trustworthy people, they are allergic to using brains and learning, and instead resorting to bully the ones who actually want to learn things, or just looking for a side to blame. What's even better About Dolia is that being in the river makes her 1st skill knock back enemies, so as long as you're in it you get free cc.
Kadita is not a mermaid but she is a genie on the southern coast of Indonesia
out of the mermaids in the main stream mobile moba, Dolia really is the top imo. Her design is cute, can swim, sing, and splash water. She's fun to play. Next is Senhime (OA), Nami (WR), and then Kadita.
wouldnt that be weird cuz the river is too shallow, it would be as if other heroes is walking at the surface of the water and kadita is 3 feet below it wouldnt make sense
In the Indonesian story, Kadita is human, even when she is attacked by a curse and jumps into the sea and becomes queen of the South Seas, His body shape remains human. Because in Indonesia there are no stories about mermaids, The mermaid-shaped Kadita is purely made by Moonton
