You can't even tell for sure if it's about to end since the orientation of the rotating line differes depending on what direction Jawhead was facing when he used skill 1.

3:38 to begin with, then changed a LOT of effects on M-World Ling's ultimate. First is just the ultimate with portal effects but without any sword marks. Then for a few hours, the devs put light blue marks on the ultimate to predict sword locations, which is much better, but people seem to dislike the visibility of the portal effects this time, hence Moonton blurred the ultimate effects AND the sword pointers. I love the skin design but i hate what the devs did on the effects.
For the ling mworld skin, my point is when you ult you need to focus(u know, be an eagle eye👀) on arrow mark around the circle area of ult. The arrow mark maybe too small to see but it will make you more focus, plus: 1. u will need to predict enemy movement first & thinking twice before use/to timing ur ult. 2.the mworld skin is an advantage where enemy cant see ur sword mark (it will give enemy a hard time to check where ur sword mark will landing) cause its too small to see just like u when using it. 3.if players use ling's normal/basic skin in the battle, when u use ult u can see the sword mark easily, so does the enemy too. This was just my opinion, if u have better point then just comment it😄
I also have to point out Selena's STUN skin. Her arrows noticebly gets big, resulting in enemies being aware. Another thing is, base on the enemies' pov, the normal skin's arrows are much more hidden because of the dark red color compare to the STUN skin with the bright pinkish color. It's noticeable on my gameplays that enemies will only get hit if I shoot from a far distance or from a bush when using the STUN skin. That's why I normally prefer to play Selena with no skin at all.
It is true that the arrow is crazy big but the movement of it is so confusing because of the constant twirling so if you try to aim just a bit higher than usual while using it you can easily stun the enemies.
Yep, Selena's STUN skin somewhat sucks. It gets kinda laggy when switching forms when using the STUN skin. Was hyped after seeing it became available and bought it immediately. But then got disappointed by how laggy it gets when using it. Your fast combo would sometimes get delayed. That's why I either use Thunder Flash, Zodiac or her new Elite skin instead.
When picking skins, you must mostly pick the green themes, because it can blend through the area of the background. Also, you may not wanna pick the skins who'll make you look weak.
i use skins that make me look weak so the enemies will underestimate me (and probably toy with me because im "weak" because of my skin) until i reach late game

that harry potter theme seems like an overall harley nerf cause u can now anticipate the explosion even in normal skin if u play the theme in your head and know which note it explodes on lol

There's still an indicator where Ling's sword would land on MWorld, but yeah it's so small. If only the dev would make a bit change on his portal's shape for at least making the sword marks more visible. Like bigger arrow pointed edges or brighter colors.
Johnson's one is really a Nerf like enemies will try to stop him if he is driving alone or even the enemies will know the surprise combo 🙂 And the Harley one is preety accurate u can easily use winter truncheon to protect yourself Thanks for the information Kazuki 😌💜
johnson transformers skin only shows the hero inside to your own team, the enemy cant see the hero (johnson main here, ive tested this in ranked, classic and custom)
Xborg's skin can give you both advantage and disadvantage Advantage that enemy has harder time seeing his ult range Disadvantage that the user itself has harder time seeing the ult range and to decide if they had to use flicker or not
Well, for me I can see the range of his ultimate with the help of the "Scanning" Hexagon shape effect during his Ultimate and it gives him an advantage since armored and unarmored Xborg Looks the same except for the almost unnoticeable electric sparks on his body
The disadvantages of some expensive skins are the flashy effects you can easily tell when it's about to end the ult or not and you can easily dodge some of the skills because of the flashy effects.
Alpha's limited time epic skin Onimusha Commander's skill and sound effects are much pretty good but however despite all its effect there's still a one problem, before casting his ultimate we'd heard a rapid bomb ticking-like sound and it was noisy. This is not very useful as if you want to attack the enemy from the bush as this sound effect can be heard, it will serve as warning for them and eventually will plan and prepare their counterattack for him.

you can still see the effects of the dyrroth special skill because in the enemy's POV the hitbox of the Skill is pretty flashier than the Dyrroth user's POV and if you are strong enough, you can still dodge it even if you have skin or not
Hilda's season skin is the worst in my opinion. The skin adds a sound effect that can easily heard by enemies when she's in a bush. Not to mention it's loud af.
Benedetta's collector skin does make a louder sound effect when charging passive. However flashier effects during big team fights can mess up visuals and stop opponents from being able to read what skills are being used. So it's very situational?
I think devs should be add secret container mode to Optimus Prime as optimization (Johnson skin). Or maybe Optimus Prime shouldn't transform into truck without container. Container is for Transformers characters and biggest heroes, Bumblebee, Grimlock, Atlas and Barats can't sit in seats. 😅
Also Selena's Stun skin. It's like a double edge sword. It makes the arrow harder to evade and predict for enemies. But it also makes it harder to aim it and actually hit enemies with it. You better use zodiac or Thunder Flash
The first time I noticed this is the selena skins. I would prefer fighting a Virus skin rather than the normal one. It's easier to dodge the former than the latter. Thank you for the other skins mentioned. Kudos!
0:58 the fact that the skill DOESN'T end when it goes a full circle and not in a constant spot doesn't really show when it is ending though. Compared to Harley's one (which ends at the same noticeable spot before the hands went a full circle), I believe Jawhead's is not more noticeable.
I have used x borg transform skin for quite a while and was struggling where the range was so I used the scanning overlay to make as a makeshift range for his ult and its working for me
Johnson user here: The thing is. There is absolutely barely a surprise whatsoever because if you look at the map and see the 8 dot crosshair from johnson driving everywhere and if you look at the map and the enemy stats, you can see the timer of when they are gonna respawn so for example: Player 1, 3 and 4 died which means you can think of a plan to counter 2 and 5. But if all of them are not dead, its simple if you look at the map to see if who is possibly the one who is riding Johnson. For another exapmle: The map is showing Johnson and Player 4. This would only mean that Johnson is just giving almost any stats of who is riding even with all the skins
Well I don't have those flashy skins but I agree with Ling M-world skin, for Benedetta it's fine cause the range look longer and wider which can pretty much scare the enemy, well for JS some people don't even know how to counter it anyway, for x.borg it's pretty confusing when using it I like the normal better, for Harley late game is pretty hard but early game no one can do anything about it.
When the enemies' Johnson uses the Optimum Pride skin, me and my friends sorta have this tactic about reminding one another about who is riding Johnson so we could be aware and decide whether we bump and ambush or avoid. And we always win using this tactic. So to all the Johnson players that uses that skin, I suggest you don't
@@whoswho6524 ofc it is, if you can see he is riding with no one then even squishy heroes can risk to bump in the car, however if you can see that he is riding some good combo hero like badang or odette, then the ally tank will bump the car wasting the johnson's combo, these small things have huge impact in high elo games
one of the skin that’s useful in my opinion . It’s nana new starlight skin .. this skin makes the ultimate kinda hard to be spotted whenever you’re in a team fight
Basically any blue/green skins give you advantage, as those colors blend a bit with background + are a bit harder to catch then flashy pink/red/cyan etc. Nice example is Yve or Vale. On the other hand, skills like KoF or STUN are so flashy that it can give you disadvantage.
Ling Skin Collector is very pay to win.... Her effects are transparent, in massive combat it's hard to see where he really is, where Ulti will fall and how many swords is left for him to catch..
Theres a little thing for Dyrroth and Yu Zhong, Dyrroth can slow the enemy nor get closer to the enemy then use ultimate unless they have flicker, same with Yu Zhong, you can make the enemy slower/get closer to them then use his skill. A Better chance he won't get away unless he has flicker
Most of this is arguable. Like I am easily alerted when dyrroth ults no matter the skin. Harley's ult no matter the skin they all have a timer we can clearly see. Jawhead timer isn't really a constant timer because the duration depends on the number of rockets. The only thing that everyone can agree on is ling's ult and js ult. But u don't need to see who's riding js if there's only one hero in the team that fits the combo. So visible or not the enemy will know that u have odette if ur team have no other combos for js
We’ll there’s is pro move that make believe that odette is riding js but she’s hiding in the bush for an ambush. It’s still a big thing knowing who’s riding JS. Besides there’s a lot of hero that can fit JS combo such as kadita.

Id like to add Miya's Christmas skin. If u listen carefully when she tries to ambush enemies with her ult, u can hear her ult's sound effect- bells. I encountered it many times, and evaded being ambushed.
Harley’s ult also has a timer on the default skin just way flashier on the epic skin. Assuming a player has no clue on the timer mechanic, there’s not much difference really compared to somebody who is used to the timer mechanic on his ult.
benedetta main here correction its a pay to win skin,i mean as you can notice the range of her passive a bit longer than than the other skins and you can see her skill range so you can reach your enemies much easier

In the end of the day any of these won't matter since playing the game long enough will exercise your mind into knowing the timing and abilities of every individual heroes, so no skins only makes it marginally worse.
As a benedetta main whose MG 1K+. I feel the collector skin helps create fear and intimation to enemies. Which really helps zone enemy backlines during fights. Which is benedetta core purpose is pure distraction and zoning of backline. So i guess it helps. As goes to yu zhong collector skin.

Yeah what I think he is trying to do is to get k's channel out of the way bcause he uploads more often and due to this when kazuki uploads people tend to skip his videos since they already saw it on K's channel and he doesn't benefit much from making those videos that's why his content is not focused on upcoming skins and events
I saw some comments like good player will dodge ur skills skin or no skin and a bad player won't dodge. But they are only talking about 2 extream ends . But there are many players who are not particularly good or bad and I also feel that due to some flashy effects some skills are actually easily dodgeble in some skins . Also there are some skins like xborg transformer which make the skills hard to notice.
I think one of the ling skin and Selena skin have vauge animation which make their skills hard to dodge. I don't own the skins but only noticed these thing when there is an oppenent so I don't really remember which skin in particular.
These facts will be useful for newbies, experienced players like me can even guess enemies skill when recoursees not downloaded while they all look like ball
I think it's ok for Benedetta collector skin... I've used Benedetta and by using Benedetta skin makes the enemy fear you more. The vibe is also different and I really love it. I agree with your idea about jawhead collector skin. About ling mworld skin... It's harder to use lord shen than the mworld skin. If you're playing classic and enemy also use ling ... You cannot differentiate your own blade after using ult.
For Harley users use flameshot to disrupt the casting of wind of nature and use dire hit for sure kill. So don't be afraid of the skin the tank will be afraid with you.
On Ling's skin, You can see where the swords will go but it's really little. Look at the circle when you're using ur ult with that Ling's sword you'll see some little arrows like the tip of these emojis ⬆️⬇️⬅️➡️ But yeah I totally agree with you because it's so freaking littlr
I knew 1 disadvantage towards all or most of skins. Is that when you equipped an expensive skin, regardless if winning or losing. There's going to be many bitter players trash talking against you. Not to mention if they intentionally not cooperate, made the team lose and put all the blame on you 🤨
I actually commented this back then on tournaments. Someone was asking why was this certain pro player not using an Epic Skin for Hayabusa. As a hayabusa main back then, I thought immediately that Hayabusa's shadows can be seen easily with those flashy effects on his epic skin. Same goes to Johnson's Transformer skin. Some players ride solo and some ride with a passenger. As a tank, I prefer to not dodge when the JS was a solo player, and be cautious when Js has a passenger
Well Yu Zhong's collector skin isn't that noticable except for the extra extensions of the snake but before they can dodge that 1st skill Yu Zhong already dashed towards the evading enemy.
This is kinda true. Dis the reason why sometimes I don't use kagura's annual starlight skin. The skill sound effect is way too smooth and I can't hear it when I hit an enemy with my umbrella. Overall!! The skin skin effect is really cool and she looks so pretty wwwwwww
For M-World ling u can say it is a skill = win skin cuz if you play enough ling you will remember how the sword gonna goes also u can see the pattern before casting well while enemy they don't see too and they won't even know what pattern u choose like how will u rotate the ult

Me too, I got confused about the actual range of enemy Transformers skin X-borg's ultimate, but I manage to get away from it as far as the range of my mobility skill.
I dont mind the yu zhong skin because I rarely use the 1st skill without using the third skill its like a nature to me so even if they see a red mark warning or something I doubt they will be able to dodge it
I also notice eudora's epic skin as much as i love that skin i dont want it cause the effect is too obvious specially the stun effect its so bright that a higher competitive player can manage to dodge it when i use her on mythic rank, but when i use the default or any simple skin on her the stun is not that easy to see.
Another epic skin which is worth is Selena Thunder storm, her 2nd skill is hard to caught because of the low opacity. and 1st skill display animation is brighter which helps in combo of abyssal form.
selena stun & vale-tigreal starlight are few other skins that give u extra benefit. Selena stun's abyssal arrow's zigzag movement make it harder to predict and for tigreal ultimate can be hard to notice in clash that's why devs change it's color from green to blue (still have issue) vale's starlight's damage increase/area increase have almost the same color
ling m world skin swords can be seen bit if u dont see them here is a lil tip which ever direction ur ling faced in when u pressed ult thats where will land the sword to pick it up infront of u then u can already see other swords to pick em up
A benefit of vale's starlight skin his ultimate is barely visible plus his damage ulti and cc ulti looks almost same unlike others skins, his starlight skin ulti won't be able to see in teamfights cuz your busy fighting others and m trying to dodge enemy attacks

You can also see the same movement with the fire moving there's a fire outside of the circle fire rotating and has the same rotation as the clock

All skins can tick and animate when you aim his Ultimate.
And thats why you just swipe your ult right away.

you can still see the effects of the dyrroth special skill because in the enemy's POV the hitbox of the Skill is pretty flashier than the Dyrroth user's POV
and if you are strong enough, you can still dodge it even if you have skin or not

Benedetta's collector skin does make a louder sound effect when charging passive. However flashier effects during big team fights can mess up visuals and stop opponents from being able to read what skills are being used. So it's very situational?
I think devs should be add secret container mode to Optimus Prime as optimization (Johnson skin).

0:58 the fact that the skill DOESN'T end when it goes a full circle and not in a constant spot doesn't really show when it is ending though. Compared to Harley's one (which ends at the same noticeable spot before the hands went a full circle), I believe Jawhead's is not more noticeable.
I have used x borg transform skin for quite a while and was struggling where the range was so I used the scanning overlay to make as a makeshift range for his ult and its working for me

There is absolutely barely a surprise whatsoever because if you look at the map and see the 8 dot crosshair from johnson driving everywhere and if you look at the map and the enemy stats, you can see the timer of when they are gonna respawn so for example: Player 1, 3 and 4 died which means you can think of a plan to counter 2 and 5. But if all of them are not dead, its simple if you look at the map to see if who is possibly the one who is riding Johnson. For another exapmle: The map is showing Johnson and Player 4. This would only mean that Johnson is
just giving almost any stats of who is riding even with all the skins

Well I don't have those flashy skins but I agree with Ling M-world skin, for Benedetta it's fine cause the range look longer and wider which can pretty much scare the enemy, well for JS some people don't even know how to counter it anyway, for x.borg it's pretty confusing when using it I like the normal better, for Harley late game is pretty hard but early game no one can do anything about it.

When the enemies' Johnson uses the Optimum Pride skin, me and my friends sorta have this tactic about reminding one another about who is riding Johnson so we could be aware and decide whether we bump and ambush or avoid. And we always win using this tactic. So to all the Johnson players that uses that skin, I suggest you don't

The real problem when you are using a good skin:
*Getting lock because you have good skin*
Basically any blue/green skins give you advantage, as those colors blend a bit with background + are a bit harder to catch then flashy pink/red/cyan etc. Nice example is Yve or Vale.
On the other hand, skills like KoF or STUN are so flashy that it can give you disadvantage.
Actually in ling ml sword is visible but very little there's a mark arrow where sword will land but no sword shown
Selena S.T.U.N and abyss skin-skill two is so bright that every enemy can easy spot it even if you are very accurate
Ling Skin Collector is very pay to win.... Her effects are transparent, in massive combat it's hard to see where he really is, where Ulti will fall and how many swords is left for him to catch..
Theres a little thing for Dyrroth and Yu Zhong, Dyrroth can slow the enemy nor get closer to the enemy then use ultimate unless they have flicker, same with Yu Zhong, you can make the enemy slower/get closer to them then use his skill. A Better chance he won't get away unless he has flicker
Most of this is arguable. Like I am easily alerted when dyrroth ults no matter the skin. Harley's ult no matter the skin they all have a timer we can clearly see. Jawhead timer isn't really a constant timer because the duration depends on the number of rockets. The only thing that everyone can agree on is ling's ult and js ult. But u don't need to see who's riding js if there's only one hero in the team that fits the combo. So visible or not the enemy will know that u have odette if ur team have no other combos for js

Harley’s ult also has a timer on the default skin just way flashier on the epic skin. Assuming a player has no clue on the timer mechanic, there’s not much difference really compared to somebody who is used to the timer mechanic on his ult.
I'm ling player, it was hard to see their sword but after some games it wasn't that tough thought I would tell u to use epic or other
benedetta main here correction its a pay to win skin,i mean as you can notice the range of her passive a bit longer than than the other skins and you can see her skill range so you can reach your enemies much easier

dyroth if in 1v1 thr opponent should atleast that attentive to see the dyroth action its easily noticible skin or not,while if u say team fight i feel like dyroth is still able to hit 2 or 3 enemies as they are already focusing on other teammates not like really pay to loose,
harley when he ults if u playing in higher rank like legend and above they already know the circle telling the timer rather basic skin or others so still dodges acc to it, can be pay to loose in lower ranks ig,

In the end of the day any of these won't matter since playing the game long enough will exercise your mind into knowing the timing and abilities of every individual heroes, so no skins only makes it marginally worse.

As a benedetta main whose MG 1K+. I feel the collector skin helps create fear and intimation to enemies. Which really helps zone enemy backlines during fights. Which is benedetta core purpose is pure distraction and zoning of backline. So i guess it helps. As goes to yu zhong collector skin.

I saw some comments like good player will dodge ur skills skin or no skin and a bad player won't dodge. But they are only talking about 2 extream ends . But there are many players who are not particularly good or bad and I also feel that due to some flashy effects some skills are actually easily dodgeble in some skins . Also there are some skins like xborg transformer which make the skills hard to notice.
I think one of the ling skin and Selena skin have vauge animation which make their skills hard to dodge. I don't own the skins but only noticed these thing when there is an oppenent so I don't really remember which skin in particular.

I think it's ok for Benedetta collector skin... I've used Benedetta and by using Benedetta skin makes the enemy fear you more. The vibe is also different and I really love it. I agree with your idea about jawhead collector skin. About ling mworld skin... It's harder to use lord shen than the mworld skin. If you're playing classic and enemy also use ling ... You cannot differentiate your own blade after using ult.
For Harley users use flameshot to disrupt the casting of wind of nature and use dire hit for sure kill.
So don't be afraid of the skin the tank will be afraid with you.
On Ling's skin, You can see where the swords will go but it's really little. Look at the circle when you're using ur ult with that Ling's sword you'll see some little arrows like the tip of these emojis ⬆️⬇️⬅️➡️

I actually commented this back then on tournaments. Someone was asking why was this certain pro player not using an Epic Skin for Hayabusa. As a hayabusa main back then, I thought immediately that Hayabusa's shadows can be seen easily with those flashy effects on his epic skin.
Same goes to Johnson's Transformer skin. Some players ride solo and some ride with a passenger. As a tank, I prefer to not dodge when the JS was a solo player, and be cautious when Js has a passenger
Well Yu Zhong's collector skin isn't that noticable except for the extra extensions of the snake but before they can dodge that 1st skill Yu Zhong already dashed towards the evading enemy.

the thing that I never forget is I want to get any of 4 transformers skin except Soundwave and I actually get Soundwave bruh
I also notice eudora's epic skin as much as i love that skin i dont want it cause the effect is too obvious specially the stun effect its so bright that a higher competitive player can manage to dodge it when i use her on mythic rank, but when i use the default or any simple skin on her the stun is not that easy to see.
Another epic skin which is worth is Selena Thunder storm, her 2nd skill is hard to caught because of the low opacity.
and 1st skill display animation is brighter which helps in combo of abyssal form.
selena stun & vale-tigreal starlight are few other skins that give u extra benefit.
Selena stun's abyssal arrow's zigzag movement make it harder to predict
and for tigreal ultimate can be hard to notice in clash that's why devs change it's color from green to blue (still have issue)
vale's starlight's damage increase/area increase have almost the same color

ling m world skin swords can be seen bit if u dont see them here is a lil tip which ever direction ur ling faced in when u pressed ult thats where will land the sword to pick it up infront of u then u can already see other swords to pick em up

A benefit of vale's starlight skin his ultimate is barely visible plus his damage ulti and cc ulti looks almost same unlike others skins, his starlight skin ulti won't be able to see in teamfights cuz your busy fighting others and m trying to dodge enemy attacks
