  • A breakdown of a popular Striped Bass lure, the Mojo Rig. Below I listed the makers of the Mojo's in the video, each of them have proven to catch fish and have held up great. Thanks for watching, enjoy!

    *Altogether a well made lure **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s the skirt seems to stay on well and the whole thing is bigger than I thought it would be. The 2 metal have a nice plating on them as well.*

    *Great item. First cast out of the package caught a nice bass. Pulls smooth in the water and sets up nicely immediately upon retrieval. Worth adding to your tackle box.*

    Great video seems this is the go to rig for the stripers. Can you show complete rigging and rod set up video on these. Granted these rigs weigh a lot so for newbies the tips would be a help.

    Down here on the Bay we call them parachutes. "Mojo" is cooler.

    I use the rock fish candy tandem rig with great success but their 40 bucks I was wondering if the sea striker mojo's with a drail would work and be a cheaper alternative?

    With just a basic fish finder, what is the most important thing to look for to find where the fish are?

    Great vid! Are you using wire, braid or mono?

    • @danieldipasquale1137

      Thanks!...braid with an 8-10 foot mono leader

      Thanks! Have you tried mono? I guess you'd have to put out more scope...
      Also, where can I get one of those JD lures? I'm on Long Island.....

      Mono will work but braid is much more preferred as it cuts through the water faster therefore you will use less line. I am not sure if JDs is making their mojo anymore but I highly recommend the magic tail mojo as it produced very well this past season. Magical (Dante Soriente) is on both Facebook and Instagram and you can order from there. Many shops throughout New Jersey carry them as well. I find myself using the 32oz most of the time whether it is 20 or 70 feet. Hope this helps, let me know

    Question How much line do you put out while trolling 3-5 knots in about 50 feet of water?

    • @danieldipasquale1137
      @danieldipasquale1137  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      just simply drop the mojo to the bottom while in gear, flip lever for 5 seconds, then drop until it hits the bottom for a second time.
