I believe it's a part of the r1 and r1-m quick shifter/auto blipper system. Not completely sure. But it will match whatever rev you give the bike on cold starts to extent.

No problem . The ecu had a performance tune and that’s the warm up feature you can add. Then it returns to normal idle
