I think my Ryft is my favorite. Mine is all Treal'd up, metal everything. I have a metal cage coming for it from a friend who does custom cages. I have the Castle 1415 motor in mine, and it seems faster than yours, BUT then again it's a 2400kv motor... and at WOT mine really isn't controllable so yours may be better. I run mine in low gear most of the time. Once I finished machining the inside of the trans case (based on your videos), I finally got it working properly (knock on wood). I'm amazed how well the thing crawls with just a 12T pinion.
I got the kit version and with an axe i can crawl and do some nice slowish trail bashing in 1st gear, my other ryft has a 6s motor in it and once i get a sway bar in that one itll handle better too. The rtr kinda sucks but it doesnt need much to be a good bouncer, itll mever be a basher tho

Pretty good deal for a titanium chassis. Honestly it’d be super cool if they made a full cage that would replace a c channel chassis to make a cool caged crawler for Class 3
Add some proline xt shocks and +2 teeth on the pinion. 3s should be quite a bit better, without too much heat. Swap tires for hryrax 3.8s for a bit lower COG. (Wider but lower profile) Cool chassis!

While painful to watch a Ryft get blindy shot off jumps instead of actually rock bouncing at a scale pace, I am now convinced to order the cage and build one myself. Overall an excellent review my dude
Kinda feel like you can spend $2000 on a ryft and still have a sub par vehicle could just be me but I feel like it's always a chase with this car/truck. Looks amazing though can't argue with that 👌 💯

I really like a limit strap on the rear. It tames the front flip when letting off the throttle and overall makes it a more predictable ride.
you can throw as much cash as you want at the ryft, its still gonna handle like kak. Looks good tho 👍
