When you get one make sure they help you with the u-fit system measurements for the handlebars and brake linkage.

Nice video, appreciate stepping through the mods. You did a really good job on the updates and it's an attractive bike. Looking to get mine in the spring, was going for the Ryker, but I'm going up to the F3-S.
Your making the right decision for sure. Go on Can-Am website and there are recalls on the ryker due to wheels falling off. I have heard that the back wheels come of fairly often and now they are shipping them to dealers with front wheel issues. Thanks for the nice comment and hope you enjoy some of the other videos.

I'll be checking out more of your videos for sure, you've got a good eye for great upgrades without looking too flashy, plus I appreciate folks sharing installation videos to demonstrate how easy (or tricky) putting after market parts on can be. People don't realize how valuable that content can be, so thank you!
@@kdub607 Thank you very much! I had my bike worked on last weekend and was talking to the mechanic. They had several Rykers there working on them. I couldn't believe it. I hope it doesn't give the Spyders a bad name! You will definitely like the spyder and how it rides! Thanks again for the nice comments!
@@MOABMAN smh on the Ryker - I'm gonna pass that on to a buddy I met a couple weeks ago from taking the motorcycle safety class in preps for the purchase. He just picked his brand new Ryker up on Saturday, so I'll tell him to check into that. I know they come with a 2-year warranty, but that just sounds scary. Keep posting those vids sir, you've got a new subscriber!
@@kdub607 Thank you for the support. Let your buddy know to go on can am and get the details. The back tire is due to a cracking part and the front is due to improper torquing I think! If you ride with him keep a good distance😁. I'm glad you got to take the class, I was not offered it anddidnt know about it when I bought mine. Hopefully that will help you on insurance too. Again appreciate the comments and feedback.

Awesome bro... I'm going to need some of these. Especially those carbon fiber decals. I wanna say most of the scuffs on mine are in that area. or around it. Will check them out for sure. What I'd give to have roads like that here in SFL. :( EVERYTHING is straight and flat. No changes in elevation (that's why everyone loves going over bridges here lol) very few sweep turns and practically NO S turns at all.
I was born in Dade county so know what you mean! Lived in TN so understand why you go there every now and then. If you likes the carbon fiber, they have 2 styles- Raw and glossy. The glossy has a clear plastic coating on it and smooth edges. The Raw has sharp edges where it just ends.

@@keykolors1364 I am on the fence about the pedal commander. I may wait a year to see reviews before I get one to make sure it doesn't mess with computer.

Always enjoy all your videos. They gives me confidence. I’m a DIY girl when possible. I see you upgraded your headlight to LEDs. Did you do it yourself or did you take it to the dealership?
I did it myself but it was before i did the channel so that is why there are no videos. It wasnt hard but a lot to take apart. I will eventually do a video on it but just havent needed to change the lights yet. It really makes a huge difference at night. Thanks for the comment and support.

If you do it just take your time. The hardest part is removing the plastic part in-between the headlights. Sorta the "nose" of the bike. Hope that makes sense. It takes a long time to take everything apart so don't expect it to be a 30 min task. Not only will you have pride in doing it, but you will save a lot too!!!! That is probably how much most dealers will charge to do it.

How often do you scrape the underside of the grill guard?
Every time I ride! I bought it because I was scraping the bike itself every time too. When you go over a speed bump or exit a steep slope the front of the bike scrapes. The bar has saved my bike from being scraped up a lot and prevents debris on highway from smacking the plastic grill on the front.
Love your Spyder. Do you have the F3S or F3? What is the difference between the 2?
Thank you! I have the F3 which is considered a base model. The only real difference between it and the F3S is, the F3S has cruise control. The F3 is the only model without cruise control. The F3S does have an "S" on the grill in some models. I didn't want to pay an extra 2,000 for cruise control. I tried both models before buying and they rode the same.

@@voodoochild6741 First, I have experience with the 2015 and newer Spyders, in case you are asking about an older version. I have heard that there is a difference of 10 HP less in the Base F3. I asked the dealership and got a no, and when I rode the F3S I could not tell either. They also have the exact same engine so I don't know why the HP would be different. I put a K&N filter in it first thing and that helped with HP. If you want more speed and response try the Pedal Commander first before mapping. I at first wanted a manual too but glad I didn't get one. The semi-automatic is very nice and fast shifting, more so than a manual to me. After using it more I couldn't be happier. I would recommend trying it first before getting a manual. For racing it does make a difference and less chance of rider mistake when shifting. For resale it is better too because everyone is able to use the semi-automatic. Hope this helps and you won't regret the purchase and ride safe!👊👍

Wanted to give you an update.... the new 2020-2021 models are a little different now. the F3 does not have ECO and Sport mode and is 10 HP "officially" less. The F3S has Eco/Sport mode, Fox Podium Shocks and 10 HP more. I researched mine due to this and found out through the VIN number that it is a F3S. I do not have cruise control is why I considered it the base model F3. So I got lucky the dealership didn't charge more for it being a F3S.
Where can I get all the new accessories from ?
