damn! such a great vid for a small channel. great job! Also, you definitely should've mentioned the homebrew ports for the vita. Some of these include Bully, Half Life, Raft, Bad Company 2, Hollow Knight, Max Payne, GTA, Osu!, Granny, Pako Is You, Fahrenheit and many, many others
Thank you so much!! That means a lot haha :) I wanted to include a lot of those in this video but it would have ended up being a little longer than I wanted, definitely going to have to cover them in the future though.
I personally never got a vita back then because it was really expensive and there was no interesting games to play. I had the PSP though and it was an amazing device.
Thanks for watching! The PSP is also a very fascinating device, I want to cover it in the future as well - pretty capable for such an old portable haha :)
Nice vid mate, other than the relatively weak hardware, this is actually amazing. Such good buttons/sticks and size combo are rarer now, and it’s quite a fun form factor
The PSvita introduced me into Undertale, which is my all-time favorite video game period. That game is literally the number one reason why I'm interested in making indie games of my own, as well as making my own music and art. Without the PSvita, I don't think I would've played that masterpiece. Despite the problems that I have with the PSvita, here and there I will always be grateful to the system for, at least that.
Hey man thanks again for watching and that is super cool. I really love the way Sony approached indie devs with the Vita for exactly the reasons you mentioned. I wish you all the best on your projects :)
nice video. overclocking it at bit makes sense for games the vita struggled with performancewise. borderlands 2, amazing spiderman and xcom, just to name a few, run more fluently which makes for a better experience. my favourite remoteplay option on a modded vita is moonlight, which lets you play pc games on the handheld by tricking the geforce experience software into thinking the vita was a nvidia shield. this requires a nvidia graphics card and a L2/R2 grip is recommended. since the pc does all the heavy lifting, the only limitation is that games that use very small text or mouse / keyboard only (like dos games) should be avoided.
Thanks for watching and that does make sense! I wish I had more time to test that out, it might have been a little disingenuous to mention overclocking the way I did. The gamestream option is something I never even thought about but I would like to mess with that at some point as well, moonlight works great on a lot of the android devices that I've tested. Good to hear it's a solid experience :)
I can remember back in my transitional school days when I played PSP and game boy advance and 3DS nowadays I like playing the 3DS and PSP and Playstation Vita more than I do the Nintendo switch because the damn thing doesn't overheat the battery life is a lot better in the games or a lot better on the PSP than they are and the Nintendo switch cuz when they overheat over time it will just keep doing it
Switch showed us that dockable systems work, and Steam Deck showed us that even a smaller company than Sony could deliver an exceptionally powerful piece of portable hardware at an attractive price for consumers. I think we'll be seeing a lot more systems like that in the future hopefully :) Thanks for watching!
Your not wrong, the PSVita is better now, You got games like Sonic mania on the system now, But not gonna lie This is a high quality video! Keep up the good work Logan!
100% agree, the great hardware (built quality/controls) and the portablility of psvita are imo better than the switch and steamdeck. I feel like the psvita/steamdeck combo gives you the best from both worlds great portability/controls and more power, while the switch falls somewhere in the middle (average portability/controls and average power)
Absolutely - Steam Deck is great if you want the performance, you got the space and capability to emulate a ton of stuff up into the PS3 era, but sometimes the convenience and portability of the Vita is so much fun to use haha. Thanks for watching :)
i thought this was gonna be another copycat video: is the vita worth it in 2022, yes because modding and persona 4... but i was surprised that u actually covered something i didnt know about, lbp vita getting custom servers?! lbp vita was the whole reason i bought my vita in the first place, thanks for letting us know!
Thank you very much!! Lighthouse is a very impressive piece of software, it's great to be able to bring back some of these older titles with the incredible work of the community :)
Why wouldn't you want to overclock your Vita? A good amount of games (like Epic Mickey for example) run like absolute dogsh** at stock clocks without it. - it helps GBA emulation as well

Missed your videos, man! You came back with a banger of a handheld too, one of the best to ever be released in fact. :)
Haha thank you very much!! I appreciate it :)
Blows my mind that this channel doesnt have at least 300k subs yet.
I personally never got a vita back then because it was really expensive and there was no interesting games to play. I had the PSP though and it was an amazing device.
The PSP costed as much as the Vita though
Thanks for watching! The PSP is also a very fascinating device, I want to cover it in the future as well - pretty capable for such an old portable haha :)
I believe the PSP launched at the same $249 as the base model Vita did but by 2012 surely it had come down by quite a bit.
Nice vid mate, other than the relatively weak hardware, this is actually amazing. Such good buttons/sticks and size combo are rarer now, and it’s quite a fun form factor
appreciate it as always :) Yeah it's such a nice little handheld!!
The PS Vita is the greatest handheld system ever and it definitely deserves a successor
I certainly agree! Thanks for watching :)

was expecting more content, but okay, will follow to see how this channel goes in the future
I will experiment with making some videos with more content, I have some topics that I want to dive really deep into soon - thanks for watching :)
Loved my Vita, play it more so than my Switch.
Same! It's a very convenient form factor (pretty important to me personally) and it has some solid games. Thanks for watching :)

The Vita/3DS era was such a good time for portable gaming, the Switch is impressive but yeah it does have its issues for sure. Thanks for watching :)
I'm glad I managed to enlighten all of the viewers how to make scrambled eggs 👍👍👍
great video! :)
Your tutorial was absolutely eggcellent 👍👍👍
Lmao thank you very much ture, I appreciate it!!
I hope sony's new mobile division makes a dockable ps vita with better specs.
