So today I got to know I’ve been doing Made to wear and not RTW. I’m truly glad to learn and expand my horizon. Thank you so much for shedding so much light on this topic. I really got value and enlightenment. God bless you❤.
You're most welcome.🧡
This was truly informative.
Thank you for shedding light on the Made to Order business model. There is a lot of info about the ready-to-wear business model here on TH-cam but not a lot on the Made to Order model.
I think the model is more convenient for those of us just starting out.
I hope you'll be sharing more in-depth videos on this topic.
I sure will. You're most welcome.🧡
I'm in love with the made to wear
So convenient! 😍
Thanks for this video.
I have a clothing line already for about 4years now.
Though it's been off and on. With this video I have a better understanding now.
RTW actually require lots of funds. Speaking from experience I have fabrics (FABRICS)😆 Just Sleeping in my room. But I think the MTW is the model I have been doing unknowingly. I prefer it please. I love your channel, you really teach the most important things about this fashion business.
Weldone.
Thank you for your kind words.🥰 All the best in your business as well! 🧡🧡
Beautiful explanation 🎉
This is quite timely for me. I'm considering going into made to wear business. I have a better understanding of the difference between the two models.

I'm planning on starting out in this business. I watched the video you made on 5 outfits to start out with and this video was recommended to me, infact I am so excited about this clarity on the RTW and MTW business models.

You have to review if what you're making is what people want/need.
Wonderfully explained Wonderful. Am going in for both❤
Thank you.🥰🧡❤️🤗
The video pretty good and educative 👍, thank you 😊 and also in some cases both RTW and MTW can be interwoven having learned the advantages and cons of the two business. And also in some situation where by the buyer sent in the style and the fabrics will fall into what.
You're welcome! Your answer is Bespoke wear.
Very explanatory! Thank you!
Wonderful tips. Very rich content and a new perspective to how to handle my fashion biz startup. I'm looking forward to the size chart video you spoke about previously too.
Ah thank you for reminding me about the size chart. And for your kind words.🧡
Great tips indeed God bless you... I'm waiting too..
You are such a wonderful teacher, I had to subscribe, please do a video teaching about types of fabrics. I’m a beginner base to n Mali but they keep calling all fabric tissues so I want to know about fabrics thanks.
Thank you for your kind words, Jessy. 🥰 Sure, noted. I'll make a video on that in the near future.
I'm loving your content because I'm also a budding designer/tailor who's looking to start a MTW brand.
Thank youuu🥰🧡
Thank you so much, this video is made for me,I will be going for the made to wear..
I like your video but hw can I get full details of all the measurements because I want to start my own ready to wear business
Nice to meet you, I learnt so much here, please can you recommend a fabric vendor in Lagos to me
You're most welcome. No idea of any specific one as I am not based there. Instagram would be your best bet or going to the markets physically.
Thanks so much for this, really like your vibes.
God bless you.
Please what app do you use for the collage frame?
Anticipating a quick response.
Thanks.

Thank you for your kind words.🧡 All the best in your business launch.👏🏽👏🏽
I'm confused, i was going for ready to wear until i watched this but my issue is marketing, i like the made to wear idea but as a first timer that will be outsourcing, how many designs is adviceable i was thinking i need lots of design for marketing
2 to 3 is advisable. Test the market, see how they respond to your designs. Ask for feedback on other designs they'll like from you as well. All the best.🧡
@@sewwonderfull please are you on WhatsApp

Amen. Thank you so much.❤️🥰
Thanks so much ma'am
Please how do i charge the buyer if I'm into MTW?
Do i give them the fabric cost differently or fabric plus workmanship?
Please advise
You charge like you charge for RTW. Every factor is included in your price.
@@sewwonderfull Thanks ma'am 🥰
Awesome !!! Am Loving what you do ma'am. Pls ma do I need size chart for MTW brands? The making of size chart is draining me😔

I don't understand your question, please.
Thanks Wonderful. This is an eye opener for me.
You're welcome! ❤️❤️
I actually had this MTW in mind but I didn’t know it has a specific name.
Yes, it has a name.😁
Me too
I called it “Made to Order” instead of made to wear😂
Good morning ma, Went through all your contents and it's just what I have been waiting and looking for, because I am a bout to start my own fashion business and I popped into your 5dresses to start with, humm I'm so convinced with what I wanted to do, so please how can I join your online classes.. Thank you
Welcome here Benedicta. 🤗 So glad you're motivated to start your business. Kindly send me a dm on Instagram for my online classes. @sew_wonderfull
Thank you for the explanation. I have one question. With made to wear, do you add wearing allowances eg if bust is 40 inches you ad 1 inch or you don't add any allowance for ease?
For ease, it depends on what you're making. Loose fitting outfits generally have a lot of ease while tight outfits go between ¼" to ½".
Your video just came in with my scissors in hand and fabrics in front.
I'm a one woman designer and I am starting my made to order collection tomorrow.
Any tips?
So happy for you! I'll make more videos on this topic as time goes on.
I love this I'm trying to go in RTW
Please i need ur help on something
I need mst of how to take shoulder to bust, waist and hips for different sizes of ladies
I'm sure there are videos that touch on these areas here on TH-cam. You'll find them, take the time to search.🧡
Thank you for your teachings. Keep it up
Wow
This is informative
Thank you so much ma’am 🙏I have clear understanding of the two models. Am going into made to wear .Please ma I want to ask
Making outfits in a sample design for display can it be made with a pattern paper or a fabric
You're welcome.🧡 You can use a pattern or freehand method to make your sample. It all depends on the style. Loose fitting outfits can be done with freehand if you wish.
I love you wonderful ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
God bless you richly
God bless you toooooo.🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
