    I have the same bags on my 2500 and they are awesome. I also have their auxiliary tank and air compressor that I could control each side independently. Very good. I haven’t had any issues with it. Very good product.

      That’s awesome to hear! Yeah i was honestly blown away a while back when we installed the first one. I don’t think people realize the ride quality and overall quality fit & finish of these

      On the chev 3500, if you remove the upper spring aren't you losing your 3500 rating?

    Great video I have 22 f350 dually I was told I need to have a wheel spacer due to the bags may scrub the inner tire

    So do you air it up before you lift something heavy? Of after? I’d probably put the compressor in the back wall of the bed because here in Florida where it’s always flooding I’d think the compressor would fry the moment water touches it or it’s submerged
    Also I have super springs on my 2500 so then I’d have to take these off correct?

    In case of pump failure, how would you manually put air in bags? Would you just put a "T" in line to the bag supply line and run a separate line for manual ports?

    • @americanduramax
      @americanduramax  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Never had a pump fail but absolutely you can run a t fitting in there and do that no problem at all!

    What's the life span of the airbag? What the max weight you can load on these? Are they hotshot recommended?

    • @americanduramax
      @americanduramax  21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      These can handle loads far in excess of what the truck can handle or tow and yes longevity is no issues here, it can hot-shot no problem at all

    Hi , have you converted a Newer Ram 2500 from coil springs to those airbags? I know they offer a conversion kit for Rams. If you did please post a video .Thanks!

    Can the compressor for this kit, be used for a truck airhorn also?

    • @americanduramax
      @americanduramax  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Of course , you could tie it in , wait till you see one of my future videos here. I am doing something cool with that compressor

  • @TexasTagz
    @TexasTagz 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Do all kits come with the air compressor? I don’t need the compressor I have the M18 compressor to do it manually.

    • @americanduramax
      @americanduramax  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can buy the bags without the compressor on our website and fill them manually just fine. The compressors are sold separately

    Have you installed this on a Ford yet? Will it work with a B&W turnover ball gooseneck hitch? I ask because it looks like this setup might interfere with the pin handle.

    • @americanduramax
      @americanduramax  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is listed on their website description, i know the GM trucks it works with the B&W but we haven't done a ton on the other platforms just yet

    What compressor did you guys use and will they work out of the box for lifted trucks? Mine is a 3 inch also can you use it to air up tires or something

    • @americanduramax
      @americanduramax  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We used the readyair 400 2 channel compressor ; it works on lifted trucks too as long as your leaf springs are stock on the top part of them

  • @pres6595
    @pres6595 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Do you know if the 2500 has to have the 5th wheel hitch option in order to install these. I have a 2500 that doesn't have the 5th wheel option but want to go with this setup. Thanks!

    • @americanduramax
      @americanduramax  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      nope! Doesn’t matter if you have the 5th wheel prep package or not. These will work buddy

    How does this compare to the Roadmaster RAS system?

    • @americanduramax
      @americanduramax  ปีที่แล้ว

      They are two different ways of helping the load out on the truck. I think the guys who spend more time empty & then when they do haul something that’s closer to more than 70-80% of the trucks capacity , the RAS is excellent. It’s cheaper, simple, rides great loaded and unloaded. It’s added tension needs to have a good shock on board.
      The readylift air bags really help in any circumstance when towing. It’s not going to give you the articulation ability offroad that the RAS system would give you though. The bags can help you keep the truck sitting level loaded or unloaded which is nice because we all like our trucks to sit level. The readylift air system is a really sweet kit
      I think if someone told me they just tow a 44’ toy hauler to the desert and that’s all the trucks used for, maybe bags.
      If someone told me they tow a boat or side x side on a flat trailer and it weighed 7k lbs, the RAS would be the way to go
      Just my opinion on what might
      Make
      More sense

    • @rc3designs
      @rc3designs ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@americanduramax My truck is empty probably 90% of the time but I have a 14K lbs trailer that I tow from time to time. I like my truck to sit a tad bit lower in the back when empty. That's why I'm a little hesitant to go with the RAS system. I do like the simplicity and cost of the RAS though. The air bags don't change your ride height when empty which is nice. When the RAS is at 20% stiffness how much does it change the ride height?

    • @americanduramax
      @americanduramax  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rc3designs I didn’t do much testing at the 25% mark. I imagine is almost cuts the added height in half though. The RAS is sweet. The bags right here aren’t cheap but it is nice that it keeps the ride nice
