  • Welcome! In this video I replace the cracked driver's side view mirror glass on my 2001 Ford F-250 named Ms. Mildew. Turns out it's not too bad, but you do need to be careful of not tearing the dust boots on the motor pins. Check the video to see what I mean.

This is not too bad of a repair, just be mindful of cracked glass and getting the motor pins popped out first so you don't tear their boots. I cover that in the video.

Are you saying the 2021 F250 mirrors extend out and can retract back? Fancy. Or do you mean the mirror assembly can swing towards the doors for parking and then back out into their usual position?

So only one mirror won't move left and right? This may sound silly but did you check the adjuster switch and make sure it is set for the passenger mirror when you are trying to adjust it? If you are, the next thing I would check is the adjuster switch itself. My F250 had a bad one and I replaced it with a only slightly dodgy one from the junkyard. I'd also check to see if you have any loose contacts at the switch if you decide to pull it out and inspect it.
