Bless her sacred heart. She’d been through so much in her young life. May her relationship with her birth father be as loving as she’d prayed for all her life 🙏🏻
Danielle T: Uhh...asking a question is not judging -- get yourself together. You are clearly the one judging me for judging someone (whom I wasn't even judging). "Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?"
Because it was a different time, you can't compare today's social values with way back then. Today an unmarried pregnant woman/girl is no big deal and society don't even blink an eye. There could be a thousand and one reasons why. Single fathers were not common back then and it was considered by many that they were incapable of raising a daughter. That is how people thought.
this is such a lovely moment....and we're all thinking this is such a lovely moment. But I have to say....and I'm not black.....but put yourself in that space for a while...if this was a black dude and with a black woman this age....HONESTLY....would this be that compelling? Or would you think otherwise? Just asking that's all. Interested in the human condition and experience here.
madison h - actually I think that bigotry is pervasive in society. The point I was trying to make (probably not very good at it really) was that black subject matters would never get this type of reaction on a show because of stereotypes and just the general view of non-whites. Same reason why a missing white blonde blue eyed little girl gets so much coverage and yet black and hispanic girls go missing all the time with little media coverage. It's almost like society puts much less worth in non-white kids. Similarly society would automatically look down on a black guy who fathered a child with some lady and didn't even know who the kid was. On the other hand this guy gets tears of joy and an ovation when he saunters up to reunite with the daughter he had out of wedlock. That's my view...and I'm neither black nor white. Just a human observing how differently we see things out of our own biases/stereotypes.
Yes, I'd still be interested and compelled...i love seeing families reunite...people feeling whole again. Especially how happy he is to have a daughter and grandchildren..it makes no difference their race.

He seems very likable, they all seem awesome. So, why did he knowingly allow the adoption of his 'son' to a stranger?
Uhh...maybe they were very young. Different times. He didn't know the mother very well. Why judge? He is there now.

my appologies , i didn't mean to offend your sensibilities.
You ought to be worried about offending your own.

She look just like him

The actual chances of her father being on the same dna site as this lady Kim are very slight. it was very lucky for her.
That's her father? Goodness, dude does not age. Good Greek blood.
I wonder if she ever found her mum
I am getting closer with a strongpossibility!
How beautiful is that. 👍🌷
Wth, that is robert de niro. 😅
I'm soooo confused. She said in the beginning her father died when she was 6 years old:/
She is talking of her adopted parent/father .

Nicole Davis - well thanks for being a decent human being. I don't know if everyone feels like that. Deep down though. We all have our biases.
Sorry but to me he seem fake like he is faking the emotional attachment. Why doesn’t he have any tears or sad emotions.

Sorry this man is an old creep. If I was this woman I would never want to meet the people who abandoned me.
