If not, one of their children might have been told by one of their parents, etc. Sometimes a DNA private investigator can help speed things up. Just some ideas! Praying you discover what you seek. 🙏🏼
My daughter met her biological father yesterday. She picked him up at the airport in Ok. I encouraged her to find her birth family for many reasons one being I am not threatened by her being enriched by others. Those kids are gorgeous!!!!

As an adopted adult, I really appreciate the kind comments! So often adoptees are shamed and told we are ungrateful for seeking out one's biological family. It's very painful to be told how selfish and awful it is to try and find them because it is seen as being ungrateful to the adopted parents. Like, "she already has parents" or "something is wrong with her" etc. I've seen plenty of those comments. Everyone is so supportive and kind and it is really heartwarming.

I found my father after 37 years, two days ago and we've been talking and he said that he loves me which is crazy but I haven't seen him so far, he lives in south America but my finances are not the best so I have to wait to meet him, I am anxious thou, lol.

The birth mother didn’t want to meet and now I e learned, several years after she had the opportunity, that she is gone too.
This is so much like my own story of finding my birth family !! Except I'm 61 and found my birth Father last year ! He just turned 87 ! Unfortunately my Birth Mother has passed, but I am blessed to be a part of a huge family in her side. My Grandmother was one of 15... So you do the math on 1st and second cousins !! Lol ! I love these successful adoption stories. I was adopted and always knew. My parents promised me if I ever wanted to find my birth parents they would help but I never wanted to. I did, however, meet my biological brother when we were in our teens.
I was contacted by my 34 yearold daughter in 2014, I had never had children. Until it happens one cannot understand the extreme feelings and millions of thoughts flying through your mind. It took me 3-4 months to calm my emotions. I write and record music and immediately wrote and recorded a song about it. It's the way I have to express my deepest feelings and pressure relief. "Nancy" is the title.

I,m totally in tears watching father and his daughter reunite after 41 years and so very happy for them ,,I wish I could find my own daughter as it's been 47 years ago that she was adopted ,so God bless you and others who are able to find their families some times it happens a reuniting good.

I can relate. Found my dad in my later 20s. This was before DNA testing but I used phone books and reverse directories to locate neighbors of my dad. Took very little time once I got started. Met him in one day (he was pretty local). I do still get mad that I was cheated out of time with him and my siblings. But all parents and step-parents are now deceased and I am accumulating cousins from DNA testing including from a grandparent line that had also been an out of wedlock event.

I am 73 and didn’t meet my dad until I was 21. I cannot tell you the hole that it filled. The icing on the cake was the family that I inherited. 2 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters, my paternal grandmother and a wonderful stepmother. I grew up with 5 sisters and I am the oldest of all.
I'm really happy for her! I lived 18 years without having a single clue on who my father was, nobody knew him. After a lot of stalking/researching on Ancestry and Facebook I finally found him! Unfortunately I won't ever meet him because he died a month after I was born so my lifelong wish for it won't ever come true. However, I am still very thankful that my curiosity of who he is has been fulfilled at such a young age. To everyone out there who is searching for their fathers, I pray for you and wish you the best of luck. It is possible and there is hope. For those whose situation with their dad ended up being like to mine, you're not along and I know your pain. I felt it and I still mourn over it from time to time. You are strong though and I promise that you'll make it through.
Wow lovely reunion. This turned out to be a new chapter in both their lives. I am adopted and would love to know my life story, but I am so happy to of had the parents I had, I would not want to go any further in finding anyone. Even my my lovely father died 31 years ago.

My brother & I were very fortunate that our parents were married nearly 50 years, until death did part them. I fear we may be among the last children raised in the US to be so fortunate. If you are dealing with a situation that's anything like the subject of the above video I wish you the very best of luck with your efforts to sort things out. I pray you find what you seek & I ask you to share with as many as you find comfortable the negative things you have to deal with. I was just thinking how jolly and humorous she is, unlike most tv guests, when the man comes out with exactly the same manner. It’s unforgivable when a father isn’t notified about a pregnancy. On a positive note, at least there’s a better chance of building a loving relationship if they find each other. There was no abandonment and he didn’t run from responsibility.
