    i personally prefer entry-level boats than the superyachts because its so cool how they fit the quality furniture in the interior.

      Also with these huge super yachts you can’t take them out as often - made for enjoyment not sitting around and not getting used.

    • @Wildbot34
      @Wildbot34 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Agreed, superyachts are cool but imagine actually having to run one, more crew than actual passengers it seems, like running a small business, nothing leisurely or intimate about it.

    You know what I like about your videos is that there are no bells n' whistles. Just down to talk about the boat in simple terms, if you use jargon, then you always explain. Quite like this boat, although not sure on the placement of grill.

    • @amcconnell6730
      @amcconnell6730 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes - you'd want a fair wind whistling through the boat to use that grill...

      As far as I know, Galeon are pretty customisable. They certainly are on their bigger boats - so you should be able to replace the griddle with a TV unit or whatever.

    • @gregwilmot5820
      @gregwilmot5820 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Grill threw me off as well, prefer it to be in the cockpit so I can use it without opening up all of the deck saloon. Prefer the flybridge yachts as they provide more 'outdoor' space on the boat for wetbar and seating, without compromising the integrity of the weather-tight 'indoor' space.

    • @visionist7

      It's tricky. Unfortunately yard folks get weird about letting a walkthrough happen if they know it's going to be a review. Sadly the only way is to be consistent and treat all boats to a walkthrough tour, even privately owned boats.

  • @gloriousradio
    @gloriousradio 4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

    I do like what Galeon do with the space in their boats. That's a really smart layout - a lot of boat in a small package. It looks to be good value considering what you get - I especially like the snug, given it's in addition to two full cabins and two heads! And a tender garage to boot!
    My only reservation is the indoor BBQ, I'm not sure how easy it'll be to get the smell of fish out of the saloon...

    • @haydensydney

    you have to be as flexible as a snake to get about in the engine spaces. I take it the saloon BBQ in an option where a TV would go? A decent amount of space for a boat that can be handled by 2 people, with those IPS drives.

    Gorgeous boat except the heads. Toilet showers are gross; you feel like you're doing a George Costanza every time.

    To be honest Nick, there's a lot more to talk about compared to my bus and its runnings. Looks like a boat you can signally manage

    Can you use it as a Caravan? Pull it with a heavy SUV and then spend the nights WITH a veranda from the high altitude yacht :D

    Seems as if you get your money’s worth the less you pay in this instance, great cabins as well as kitchen area and deck space. Lovely fitted furniture and great interior design, very nice boat overall !

    Another great video, I was about to go to sleep, then I saw a new one was posted. I don't know, I like the open lay out but I think for that cost and size, I would rather take the princess F45. The wet room toilets are kind of turn off a for me. I get it, they are trying to save space, and I guess you clean the toilet every time you shower, but I don't know if I want to shower where I poop.

    It's all about that lovely lower deck with the little table up the corner. Also that skylight in the front cabin. What a gorgeous little boat.

    Very smart boat, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is a win for me. What's the advantage to forward facing props? Is it just for contra rotating props?

    Ah I remember the front glass panel on the last Galeon you reviewed; incidentally, that’s the one I’ll buy when I win the lottery.

    We need this even though we're in the middle of the ocean hahaha it's like a quarantine in a boat but we can go land by land quarantine no going outside no plays outside hahaha I love this if I'm the owner hahaha

    If I was an owner of this boat, I will turn the wet head into a laundry room with wordrobe on the top and washer/dryer under it. Because if I was the guest, I certainly wouldn't want to brush my teeth while standing in a pool of water. Smaller boats under 40 feet should utilize every inch to add more function to it.

    I wonder if it’s not that far off to just buy new over possibly buying used with problems that might come up.

    Dear Nick, what a lovely boat. I was especially fund of the master cabine with the colors and headboard. Not to say the rest of the boat is bad! 460,000 seems like a "bargain" for this much boat. I don't think you mentioned what year it is? THank you and stay safe.
