    What a fantastic design, they got all the priorities right on this one (for what I will be looking for when I'm ready). Definitely adding this to the list of future considerations. Size is perfect: compact yet spacious, materials look very nice but not too premium ($$$), modular/transforming furnishings, tons of storage and a usable-sized galley! No space wasted with additional head(s). If they made a fly version of this it would be absolutely perfect.

    13:00: I believe you've missed the huge in-fill to turn Cabin 2 into a full-sized Queen or double, Nick!
    Of course, all is forgiven because this is a splendid boat. It should also be mentioned that Jeanneau has stopped doing NC boats this big too. This means, the fastest finger first to get this one as she is very exclusive! Great to see her in (nearly) showroom trim too. Nice.

    Why are all the seating surfaces (except for the helm) upholstered in fabric? They'll be gross and disgusting in a year from wet and dirty use which is unavoidable at sea.

    • @AQUAHOLIC
      @AQUAHOLIC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The fabric upholstery inside my boat is 17 years old and immaculate. But then we don't sit on it when wet and dirty - why on earth would you..?

    • @dwightlooi
      @dwightlooi 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AQUAHOLIC Because you get wet and dirty and so will your guests? It is impossible to avoid it completely. If it's leather, it is at least reasonably water proof and you'll simply wipe it down with a wet rag for clean up. If it's fabric you are screwed. People are going to spill your minnows and bait on your cushions along with stew, beer, wine and puke. SCUBA gear, wet suits, muddy waders, oily rags and grease guns. If you can name it is going to get thrown on furniture -- sometimes because the guy doesn't care and sometimes because they fall over in rough seas. It's going to happen. What matters is how well the shit cleans up afterwards and fabric just doesn't clean up well at all!

    • @AQUAHOLIC

    Hi, great boat with very low consumption. For joystick and highlow-Platform you have to take the bigger engines (Jeanneau-rule). But to be honest ,generator and AC are important. And the electric-kitchen (inductive Cooking) that includes dishwasher and microwave is great. If you choose „no Gas“ you just need diesel. Instead of the wine -cooler we opted for the washer/dryer for longterm sails.

    The family that boats together, floats together. A statement of practicality - and so is this boat. What is the most practical thing a boat can provide? FUN is the right answer - again, like this boat. From a single owner / operator to a family of four, this is the boat for days in the sun, and the occasional push through foul weather - Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring, this is the boat that'll do most everything (including the occasional alliteration). If "cheap" can be defined as less than £400,000 - this boat is a bargain! Thanks, Nick

    If they can manage two private heads on smaller boats, this one should be able to as standard, not an option. Plus, I hate Jack and Jill bathrooms, the non-ensuite person always feels like they are intruding into someone else's space, especially at night. Far better just to have a separate heads unit.

    • @AQUAHOLIC

Which is needed when washing a stock pot after boiling lobster and an electric frying pan for making french toast. Once using the long neck faucet, you will never go back to the rinky dinky small faucet.

    hi Nick. Just watched your tour of the 2008 Trader 42 Signature. Awesome boat, very much like a Broom in layout, Even with most of the engine room lights out, it was possible to get a size perspective, and "I Think" I could live with one of those OR a Broom with a similar size or larger engine room. This presents a problem for me as .I have to narrow things down to a great extent, due to being physically disabled and unable to drive to I spect many boats prior to purchase (explaining the otherwise importance of a Lazaret to me). So any Guidance you are able to offer, regarding relative engine room size would be extremely helpful, and then I'll also be able to take I to account enginefitted regarding Fuel economy and low speed range - that fuel consumption versus speed comparison you ga e I that Tour, was particularly 👌. Hopefully I'm not being a pain in the butt, and once boat is sorted, and pored in a local Marina (which has quite a nice restaurant ), I'll owe you and Mrs Aquaholic a Meal there (I'll check it out prior, to make sure that post Covid, it is still delivering the same high Food Standards (with 3 Cabins planned you will also be able to stay over should you wish). Thanks again for everything you do, and very best wishes. Bob. 1👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🙂

    When I first saw that wine cooler, I didn't see the door handle and my first thought was that they'd put a TV down in that little 'cellar' area.
    Jeanneau is the company that first got me watching these boat videos and evenutally led me to your channel, with their 2019 Jeanneau 64 sailing yacht. :)

    This is an absolutely fantastic display of quality and functionality! A boat built with use in mind, not a gin Palace! That storage space under the saloon is absolutely fantastic! Thanks, as always, for a great tour. 👍

    Greetings Nick
    This is another great tour. What a lovely boat and the storage is awesome especially the wine cellar below the galley. Great for provision and just hiding away stuff you want unseen. Thanks again
    Cheers

    Hello. At the very onset this boat seemed underwhelming. Then you step inside and.... it is quite nice with a loads of super practical features. Really nice and simple all the way around 💞. Thank you for showing it to us. 🌺🌼🌸

    Just wonder if it`s really necessary to keep this ancor button near pantograph. Kinda big risk to push the worn button while sailing. Nose can be simply destroyed by ancor. better to place on top or somewhere else, not inline with the other buttons. thanx for review
