- Allllll about the breakfast baby! I love breakfast - eating it and making it - so in this video I'm taking you completely behind the scenes of what breakfast service is like on board @motoryachtloon
Big thanks to Blair for the gorgeous Drone footage - check him out on Instagram at @blair_vb
There’s no denying it, those new storage boxes look crate… 😶
😂
Lololol 🎉
I sea what you did there
😂and fresh out of the box, too
Ba-dum-chh 🥁
Barely getting up in the morning, having food in your mind and being happy about new crates. It's obvious: Nina is like my cat.
Meow
@@the_crewchef bad cat!! my breakfast would be a few extra large toast bread with bacon cheese lightly fried runny eggs tomato and iceberg lettuce, sweet ice tea and big orange juice, a bowl of banana yogurt and cornflakes, some meat balls and a small nap😅 love your content, safe sailing ✌🤙😊
This is the ‘reality tv’ that I crave! Nina you’re a consummate professional opening the doors to a world plebs like me never see. I’ve never been on a yacht and likely never will, but I love to see it through your perspective! My favourite breakfast would be a full English, door step toast and a mug of tea! Rather ‘low brow’ but filling!
This is such a lovely comment to read! Ah a full English is a classic, and must have the mug of tea as well - excellent choice
For anyone who has ever worked in food service / hospitality on a professional level this video is so amazing only a true chef would be so excited the day that new provisions are being brought onboard. Working on a Luxury Super Yacht is an adventure in itself. You have to be top level to pull off these amazing meals tirelessly 7 days a week. Nina you Sean and the other crew members work like a well oiled machine. While traveling around parts of the world most of us will never see. Three thumbs up!
Atleast she gets paid obsene amount of money, not like regular workers earning 5-10 dollars an hour
I'm totally in awe of your enthusiasm, positiveness and "nothing is a bother" attitude. I also envy your organisational skills. Absolutely impressive. Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪.
I am older.....but if I read your comment at 20 years old I would have been just as excited.
Between you and Sean I am amazed at the speed and efficiency.. as an amateur cook(will never call myself a chef) I am in awe of your kitchen and the breads you make . Kudos to you both be cool from Cape Town
Don't worry about not being a chef, I've worked hospitality with chefs who, quite honestly, can barely cook. They make nice plate decorations and make for a good photo but you'd scrape your plate onto the compost heap if you could. (Obviously I'm not talking about these guys).
Such a lovely lady, her exuberance is infectious. I feel like I'm on board. Glad to stumble on to this channel!
My all time favorite breakfast is Sausage gravy and biscuits with scrambled eggs. My wife is a southern gal and she makes the best gravy. She cooks the sausage and removes the sausage then with the grease makes a rue with flower. She add milk after the flour has cooked. Then she add a touch of chicken bullion and a pinch of salt which really enhances the flavor and adds back in the crumbled sausage and cooks it for the flavors to meld. Simple but oh so filling.
That's one of my favorites too. This morning I made 3 eggs over medium, potatoes with onion and peppers, biscuits and gravy, bacon and sausage links, juice and coffee. I make the best gravy I've ever tasted and my biscuits are so light and fluffy that you have to tie them down to the platter so they don't float across the room.
Her scrambled eggs look so good in this video. I'm all about those cranberry muffins with white chocolate too. Ty for another upload!!
One of my favorite breakfast things no longer exists sadly. It's called a breakfast pizza. Specifically the ones a company called Red Baron used to make. They're still around and are known for their frozen pizza's in the grocery store. But they had 4 different types of breakfast pizza's. They all had this kind of biscuit crust and a pleasant light white sauce for the base with a blend of two cheese's and little cubes of scrambled eggs. The varieties were sausage, bacon and a western (green onions/red bell peppers) all of which were finely chopped for a nice bite.
Breakfast order: brown butter & brown sugar crusted waffle, with macerated berries and Chantilly cream. Obviously some poached eggs on a smashed lemon avocado toast as well!
Loved it! Eggs Benedict is probably one of my favorite breakfast foods, and while I'm no cook, much less a chef, you can tell that higher quality establishments know how to make them while run-of-the-mill or average restaurants just don't. A lovely view! I'm so glad you became part of the MY _Loon_ crew. It seems like such a perfect fit for you (and thanks to the owner for hiring you)!
I think the secret is in the hollandaise! Best places will make their own fresh stuff ❤️
You beat me to it, the secret is 100% fresh made sauce. There are some remarkably good commercial made versions but they are all made on oil and can't compete or compare with real stovetop-made, butter based Hollandasie. It's my favourite sauce and I was fortunate enough to be taught how to make it (and a few others) by a French-trained saucier. It's so simple but so hard to get just right. Something that comes out of a squeeze bottle just can not compare. @@the_crewchef
If the Crew Chef made it, I'll eat it.
@@marvindebot3264Make a video ! Still trying to nail that myself, sometimes it’s great , then it fails. Something is off with my method 😂
@@the_crewchefShow us how you make it 😂 Lovely job as always
NINA!!!! We know that you bust your " buns " ( bun pun intended 😂 ) But, your smiling face just doesn't grace our screen long enough! ( of course we are happy with every second ) what a beautiful spot and wonderful vessel/crew. Thanks so for sharing your time with us! Weekend made! 🎉
Hehehe love the pun!
Not all yachts are super yachts. A 90 foot yacht might have crew quarters and a decent galley, but often has no decent walk-in cooler for food storage. Yacht professionals:. Am I wrong? Any of you refuse to to work on small yachts because of inadequate facilities?
@@marcsmilen6565 and this has to do with the comment you replied to how?... However that is correct not all are " super" ! 😁😉
Know what you mean about authentic French made croissants. My first trip to Paris in around 1995 I ate a full breakfast...yogurt, fruit, hot breakfast and decided to top it off with a croissant with butter and jam. Could not believe how good it was, so light...ended up eating six. Seriously addictive.
Is it weird to be a fan of watching provisions making their way on board?
Yes! And we're right there with you. 😂
If we're all weird together, then we can still have a good time about it!
Competence is interesting
this guy likes logistics. Logistics make the world work.
It can be celebrated like a holiday especially when your very low on food supplies and taking care of your guests desires is always first and foremost.
Everything looked so good and the choices were awesome. I like the idea of pushing a breakfast special which must be the Chief Stewards job. All the guests must gain a lot of weight onboard. Another educational video. Thank You.
My breakfast order would be simple since I'm not a huge eater in the morning. Plain scrambled eggs very dry, or any of these others: toast w/butter, plain pancakes with butter/syrup. Coffee, glass of milk or orange juice. Bacon would be crispy. I would be the easiest person to cook for. LOL
Love love love watching this series! Amazing what you put out of the galley kitchen.😃
Just found your channel and have been binge watching All your videos ! Great peak into another world us land dwellers never get to see. Very hard work you all do and very impressive that you all stay smiling . Love seeing your presentation of your dishes . Wonderful channel so glad we found it and thank you for sharing 😊 Shelda & Mark
love this ... thanks Nina for showing us this great but really hard work loaded world ... nothing is for free in the world!
That sourdough bread you baked looked delicious! Thank you for another great video 🙏🏻🥰 My favourite breakfast that I always get when on holiday is scrambled egg on sourdough toast (with butter), with cheese and ham on the side, and fresh strong coffee. With an orange or grapefruit juice to finish. Nice and simple but feels like luxury!
Love this …. Eggs Benny & salmon all day !!!
The main reason many of us watch Below Deck is for the food & what happens in the galley .
I can binge watch this all night !
When I used to work in a kitchen I too would get insanely excited about new storage ha, we always wanted to be the first to use a new containers. 🤣
I lived/worked for 10 years in Croatia. Had my own Yacht and speed boat and made 1000's of NM on the Adriatic Sea. Indeed one of the most beautiful waters with all its Islands on this planet.
NB: I love to have the Croatian fisherman's breakfast, either a Brudet (Croatian seafood stew) or Tripice - Špek Fileki, both with fresh crispy bread, preferably Baguette.
I could watch Nina provision and chef all day and night long. In fact, when she doesn't post new content I simply re-watch previous videos. I'm a weirdo, she's a star !
That's why they label Professional Chefs "Rock Stars" hehehehe...
You guys work so hard, but are cheerful, always!
Nina I'm glad you visited my country, Montenegro.🇲🇪
I have watched almost all of your videos and you are a very good chef and video editor.
I am also a chef myself, I have worked in many hotels and on river ships but never on yachts. I see you're doing great, I wish you all the best and keep posting your videos for a long time.
Greetings from Montenegro!😊
2 poached eggs, crispy bacon, smashed avocado and fetta, topped with a touch of balsamic vinegar and a delicious slice of your soudough on the side ...love from Sunshine Coast 🇦🇺❤
I am very fortunate to like my work but I aspire to be as happy/motivated about every aspect of my work as you are about yours. Love the energy!
Loved this breakfast variety, very healthy 😋
Awesome video, thank you! I was once a super yacht capt. Now I sail the world with my beautiful wife! We're new fans of your channel and love it!❤️🌊
Watching this at 2 am trying to go to sleep, now I am wide awake and starving. Wish I could have one of those breakfast specials now.
What an amazing breakfast for the guests! Have a wonderful trip - hope you manage to get some time to enjoy the different locations!
always love to see the incoming provisions. It's astonishing how organized you all are!
Intelligent, articulate, personable, Michelin grade chef with the elegance and beauty of a true Renaissance woman. How did the creator manage that?
The legendary Sourdough returns! Absolutely loving your new content. Ideal breakfast? Being from the UK, it has to be a Full English with some fresh orange juice to wash it down.
Cup of coffee and some left over’s from crew. Mrs Nina ❤ what a 🧑🏻🍳
.. But can he make a Cheese Toasted Sandwich. !!!
I, too, was excited about the new crates.
It boggles my mind how hard you work. I used to work in a regular restaurant kitchen doing half the hours you do, and it was exhausting. Kudos.
She gets paid well for it tho. Perhaps more then 8k EURO per MONTH! 😂❤
I low-key think 8k euro per month wouldn't be a lot for this amount and quality of work. Chefs are paid very well because they make or break a charter.
Eggs Benedict, omelets, breakfast sandwiches. No avocado-I’m the only person in the world who doesn’t like avocados!! I love how you are able to bring all dishes together at the same time. I have a problem accomplishing that!! Love the new crates-organization is everything!! Love your posts!!
You're not the only one, I also dislike avocado. And I'm a big fan of organization, so maybe we're related???
I like avocado in guacamole with chips, maybe in a salad, but for breakfast..no way!
Thanks for sharing, it's always fascinating to view the galley and the storage areas. I love to 'sea' all the different presentation techniques, it can be very artful, i think.
The special without spice. You as the chef always change it up and I like that!
That is Deffintiley a spoiled crew 😉. You can tell they are well appreciated. All the dishes look amazing. Both crew and Guest Breakfast's
What an all-out effort for your guests. So professional and your dished look incredible. I hope you're having a nice transit across the pond to WPB.. Cheers! WiL
The banter between you guys is hilarious! Sean's a cutie hahaha
those crates are a game changer for freshness!
....... does it all! Love it!
I love poached eggs but actually, something I haven't had in ages is "manaeesh bil jibna", Arabic flat bread served hot and folded over, with cheese melting at the center. I actually wouldn't mind it for lunch or dinner either!! Thank you for sharing your galley with us!
I've got a question (maybe for an "ask me anything" video):
Did you ever do customer-facing jobs and do you miss contact with the guest?
Or are you comfortable just doing your thang in the kitchen and let the stews take in all the compliments for good food?
I too, love cooking and serving breakfast to friends and family. Any kind of egg dish. Any kind of pastry. Perfectly brewed coffee. One hit dish is an open faced egg sandwich with scrambled egg, caviar and crème fraìche on toasted sourdough. Finely chopped scallions on top
Wow!! I'm amazed AND I'm preparing to have 5 boys home to feed throughout the summer. Love your content thank you!!

It feels so satisfying to make decisions that can shape your life for good...earning $11,850 returns every single week. God has been so good to me. 😇😇
I never thought i could achieve some of my goals this year after been sacked from my job, l almost lost hope.. am glad i could look back at my life and smile. I now own a beauty salon of my own and everything is finally falling into place.
That's good...wish I can own a business of my own, if I may ask? How do you earn this much weekly??
Hello, please I have no job and I always want to be successful, show me how
Alright! after my encounter with a professional Broker Mrs Charlotte Evette Carter during her seminar in Chicago, my financial life completely changed, it wasn't an easy decision to make but am happy I did and turns out successful.
Really
Chilaquiles de pollo green or red for breakfast with a side of refried beans con crema y queso añejo. Chef, a lot of respect for you, A LOT!
Love your enthusiasm Nina.!! ❤
I’m super excited about the crates!
Although I imagine how exaustful your profession is, I admire, enjoy and cherish the energy of life you share with the world..
Love you, bless you
Spent a lot of years on Submarines. Stores Load was an all hands evolution. And for a long deployment, was almost a weeklong ordeal. Storage was a premium and we often had to walk on #10 cans of provisions that had to be stored in the berthing compartment. And our galley was tiny and was manned 24/7. Baked goods and a midnight meal after supper. Having a good night baker was always a super deal. We had weekly routines and Saturday night was Pizza night. Always a crew favorite.
This has been one of my favorite videos that you've done. It all looks SO delicious! Love the channel and Loon.
Love the behind the scenes! There comes a time when baking from scratch isn't necessary and well done for knowing this! Everybody wins with amazing baked goods!
If I was onboard, I'd give you my recipe for southern style grated butter biscuits and sawmill (sausage crumbles, coarse black pepper, milk based) gravy. Those, with a fruit plate, and I'm a happy camper. The cinnamon buns would be tempting too!
Delightful and cheery presentation… I am surprised you can find the time to make videos, but you do seem very energetic. Happened upon your show by accident, but I can honestly say, the most endearing super yacht footage I’ve seen. Well done. James, skipper of a Nordhavn 50.
Hi Chef Nina. Your enthusiasm, cheeriness, and overall bright outlook are amazing. Congrats on getting married. I'm 100% addicted to your outlook on things. If I could be 10% as cheery, I'd be thrilled. LOLOLOL Signed a cranky old man in Chicagoland USA. PS, I'ma great chef myself. I took around 100 different classes from Chicago's best and most unique chefs. I'm happiest when I'm in the kitchen making a meal for family and friends. So satisfying. I even like cleaning up after myself and take alot of pride in keeping my fully commercial home kitchen spic and span. Cheers and happy holidays to you, your husband, and your crew mates. God Bless and smooth sailing. Thanks for the uplifting and informative videos. Truly appreciated
Creamy porridge with whisky honey then a full English with a pot of tea😂😂🎉🎉❤
Nicest kitchen I've seen on a yacht. I love what you do and wish I was young enough to be a yacht chef! You're the best!
Ive been enjoying a slice of whole wheat toast with a pouched egg on top, with honey and cinnamon and a bit of Cayan pepper too
The eggs benny is always a classic favorite and they look great! Sometimes it's nice to switch up the breakfast meat on them with something like crab cakes left over from dinner, and maybe quick wilt some spinach on top of the crab cake.
I would want it all! A half order eggs Bennie, mini waffle, a trip past the charcuterie trays, and top it off with a mimosa or two! Do you make snacks for the guests too? I imagine all that fun on the water would make folks hungry 😊
Saw Loon anchored in Clifton, Union Island on one of our trips through the Grenadines. I was amused by the huge float and waterslide.
Beautiful galley, beautiful food and beautiful chef! Livin the life.
My yacht breakfast would be eggs benedict and fruit with strong interesting coffee with a bit of cream.
Would love to learn about what sorts of coffee options are aboard. Also the dos and don’ts of being a charter guest.
My second time watching this video...One of my favorites! :)!! Great job showcasing the kitchen operation. As always, thank you for sharing. :)!!!
As soon as my ship comes in ! I’m charting LOON just because of you !
Wonderful, this is amazing! I love yachts and I had an unforgettable experience with Cabo Yacht World!
Awesome video! Thanks for the full detailed breakfast.
Between the great places and all the amazing food you make, thank you for taking us along.
The views are very beautiful, the ship is extraordinary, the capacity is very guaranteed,,,
Very interesting video, thanks for sharing,👍
Great video, I love seeing what the crew gets too. x
In awe of you in many ways!!🎉🎉
Absolutely fantastic! I have a fear of water so i will never take a private cruise but if i was ever invited for a breakfast onboard i may conquer my fear and dine aboard! Excellent video!
As for my breakfast order, eggs over easy, lots of crisp bacon and hash browns.
Super location and Super breakfast !! But are you feedling an army !!! such a BIG breaky !!!
Another awesome video Nina. Always great to see what amazing delights come out of the galley 👩🍳
Those croissants with ham and mozzarella looked really nice.
Great video, thanks for sharing with us, the goings on and prep behind serving breakfast
My favourite breakfast to have if I were on board that fancy yacht would be any one of those you made, they all looked amazing, that beautiful food on that gorgeous boat in that stunning place.. how could anyone ask for more
Awesome to see behind the scenes work that goes into getting breakfast ready. Show us more! I was in Kotor last year - absolutely spectacular place. You've definitely got the most scenic job in the world.
I saw your interview with Victoria (NautiStyles) and searched for your channel. Thank you for taking the time to video all of the prep and cooking. What an amazing job it must be to live and work among the "elite".... something I'm certain (I'm 67) I'll never get to do but....am able to do vicariously through you! Cheers!
I cant believe I watched the whole episode and I still wanted it to continue. I wish I was in that yacht!!
Love seeing the videos. Please keep them coming 😎🇦🇺😎
Food looks fantastic🤗
Love the storage, so understand your excitement. Not an egg fan. I'm just as happy with cold chicken sandwich. Leftover pasta. But if someone was to make me breakfast, I would always go for pancakes. With a big glass of full fat milk.
Another amazing video. So enjoy everything that goes into the food on a yacht.
So happy for you with the new crates......
what an awesome video showing us the bts! so much appreciation for a crew chef. loved this video!
Always great to watch! I get SOOO HUNGRY! You are all great at fast food prep on the fly! Thank you!
I love love love to see a Chef do their own dishes!!! Kudos!!
I love your videos!! I was so excited when this one popped up!! Never stop vlogging PLEASE!!!! ❤❤❤
Great video! ❤️ I’m loving the whole loon-tube family of channels these days. I had to fry an egg and make some (leftover) guacamole toast before I watched so I didn’t get hungry seeing your delicious creations.
This was outstanding. Thank you for filming, editing, and posting. While I am sure that tempers and mood swings between crew do happen... it does seem like everyone is focused on a group effort to get each challenged accomplished.
It all looked awesome, thanks for sharing
I love these BTS videos. I always try to order the chef special. Thanks so much for giving us a view of the galley.
