@@turanbirligi6969no women can get into the 1st octave I believe toni Braxton can and you can Google the list of female singers with lowest range and there aren't many but they exist. I think Mariah Carey as well there's a video of her hitting lower than that

@@casuan9613that depends how loud he can sing the Bb. If it's super loud and he can sing below, but it's just too soft to use, he might be a deep voice
If vocal fry is allowed bc it just stated „singing a low note“ then it’s pretty easy to reach this low (as a man and not a bass singer). And not even talking about using the false vocal folds.
Bulgarian Folklore singing has many variations and includes various techniques that I believe tend to open their voices in unexpected ways. Being a professional at this is not an understatement, it's actually impressive. wow
Disclaimer: My theory has been proven definitively wrong. If you'd like some actually plausible theories on this low note, you can check the replies :) Original comment here: "The sounds near the end (0:25) remind me of the noises that occur when I attempt particularly low notes with inhale bass. That's my guess as to how this was done. For those who don't know, inhale bass is a form of vocal fry that is created by inhaling, similar to a sustained gasp. You can notice that the intermittent noises near the end sound slightly gasp-like (much lower than a typical gasp however), and from what I understand, they're the sound of the voice trying to slip back up to a higher pitch? (not sure) You can find a video on the technique by David Larson if you search for it. Nonetheless, this is still insanely impressive."
It is DEFINTELY not an inhale. The slide down the scale is consistent and inhaled lows sound VERY different. This is just very, very skilled use of vocal fry combined with an intensely well trained voice.
Do you mean the slightly mechanical noises? My DSLR lens makes those when focusing, which makes sense as it's changing focus because the camera is moving. Or is there another sound I'm missing?

As a soprano, I love singing in my "man voice," as I call it, growling and throat singing and all that. This note from Mariyana is incredible to hear. :)
Dang! I had to work really hard to drop my lowest note from a C3 down to an A2. I mean wake up, don't talk so I dont engage the vocal chords, then spent about 6 months of my morning commute starting my day singing the song that contained that A2. I can now sing it at any time, but it was very diligent work. I cannot imagine being able to regularly sing bass parts.
It's strange how her regular speaking voice isn't abnormal, but yet she has this ability to make this super deep tone if she chooses. I was expecting her normal speaking voice to be really deep as well.
That is a low B, i.e. three B’s below Middle C. Usually that’s the kind of thing that Russian men can sing. However, I’d like to compare her to some of the females in death metal, particularly Runhild Gammelsætter of Thorr’s Hammer or Alžběta Hejnová of Stigma.
Impressive. Even more so given how her regular speaking voice isn't even really any different to most women's.
it isnt hard for her since shes a man
