Simplified Version is a series of videos in which I play and transcribe what I think is the bare minimum to play on the bass. I will focus on the "core" of the bass line i.e what makes the song unique when taking out fills, variations and unnecessary ghost notes (which are great, don't get me wrong!).
The tabs are made for those who do not want to learn the entire song note by note but want the general idea.
This will help you whether you are a beginner, have a lot of songs to learn for a gig or just want to play your own variation!
I hope it can help you in some way.

Essential version is a great idea. I'm a beginner and I try to "essentialize" the songs I want to play so I play them cleaner.
no lie as a beginner bassist this really helped me get more mobility in my fingers. I didnt know my hand could do these things (im currently playing it at a slower speed to learn before ill increase it until i can get to a normal tempo). While this is still kinda hard for me due to my pathetically small hands having a simplified versions of songs i love really helps keeping the motivation up
Funny you say that because at first, these simplified version was for a student of mine who has small hands as well. Remember that you have smaller scaling basses too! That can help a lot 👍
@@mattedjon-veryaccuratetabs oh i’ll definitely look into that! but quite frankly with this version and an extra day of practice i’ve been making good progress without overstretching my hands too much. so yeah nice work, dude!
