    I liked where you ask if they would like to be liked only because of being Japanese and the person at around 11:00 minutes, also realized that Japanese women also tend to think of/prefer white guys when asked about foreign guys, bias being on both sides. Highlighting this through interviews could be a video in itself I think. Anyways, great job as usual, you are on a roll!!!🎉

      @virtual-viking 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      Your adding the word "only" changes the meaning significantly. All relationships start out with some superficial attraction. But in order to last, a deeper connection has to be made. I doubt that race is any worse or better than the other random reasons that initially bring people together. It's barely different from having a "type", but for some reason, people are eager to denounce it when the type is a race.

    • @danielduarte6802
      @danielduarte6802 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@virtual-viking
      Yeah, good point. And as long as 'being japanese" is just a superficial aspect that you find attractive to simply make the first move, then it's ok. But it wouldn't be cool if you're gonna use that to your advantage, or if you had ulterior motives, like marrying them for legal benefits, creating content out of that relationship, showing off in social media, etc.

    • @virtual-viking
      @virtual-viking 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@danielduarte6802 The only real problem I see can be summed up as: Don't tell anyone you love them, unless you _actually_ love them as a person.
      My "type" just so happens to be petite, fair skinned women with long dark har and smaller boobs. If I can find someone approximately like that, and her type fiths my 188cm (6'2") blue eyed Scandinavian - I see that as a win/win. The initial attraction only buys you a chance to discover if two personalities are compatible or not.

    • @beauchifulbaby8145
      @beauchifulbaby8145 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@virtual-viking Yes I agree, it all starts with superficial attraction and then people tend to fall for each other's personality more. I was just trying to highlight how self-aware that person was. I didn't even pay that much attention to me typing "only" 😅. Just that superficial attraction definitely goes both ways and there's nothing wrong with it, so I was happy that the person around 11:00 pointed that out.

    I think that those of us who want to go to Japan aren't looking for a woman who is silent and reserved, we want to be in a culture that fosters respect and decency instead of the continued dive into debauchery that the west has become. Japan is appealing because the people are proud of their country, and they are proud to be in a culture that is based on respect.

    I don't think most passport bros are looking at Japanese women when they plan where to go. Most of those men go to places where women strongly believe in getting in a serious relationship and getting married. A lot of japanese women just want to get with a foreign guy for a list to check off. Once they get bored or figure out that the local men they know are easier to deal with, they are the best at going ghost.

    "picking up" and even marrying a Japanese woman is not at all difficult to do for many western men. The problem is AFTER you get married. It is hard for most Westerners to fully comprehend the man/woman relationship in Japan. Marriage is much more of a business contract in Japan than it is in the West. Affection and love, kind words, kisses, hugs, and even sex is a very small part of Japanese marriage, if it exists at all. The man works and works and works and provides money to the wife and kids. Yes, there will be sex UNTIL two children are born (exactly two children). That is the end of sex forever unless the man has sex outside of the marriage (which is no longer tolerated by Japanese women or society, so prepare for mostly never having sex again unless you divorce). It is also the end of any kind of affection or respect the man will ever receive from his family. From that point, he is an outsider with the binding social and legal contract that he will work nearly every waken hour of his life making money for his family. When he is at home, he will be treated as if he is taking up space and in the way. When he tries to talk to the children for whom he is working his life, he will be told that he is bothering the childrens' study and to leave them alone. Before you marry a Japanese woman, have a close look at the lifestyle of most Japanese men. The life of a Japanese husband is a horrible life of thankless and joyless toil from beginning until death. Don't make the mistake of living the life of a Japanese husband if you don't have to. Life is too short.

      There are happily married Japanese men but they're successful for a reason. If a man is involved enough with his wife and family they do much better than a guy just focused on work. Perhaps not easy in Japan but possible. So the warning is appreciated but learning from success is just as important.

    If you come to Japan thinking women are just gonna be an easy thing to pick up you might get your feelings hurt depending on where you are. I've seen plenty of now divorced guys who thought they could just turn up and didn't realize there's a massive cultural difference and we're miserable. They're still gonna expect a lot from you and will definitely voice their opinions. Plus you will really need to learn the language unless you plan on meeting only those who are more western and can speak English well. You may get more initial dates but in the long run it might not last if you see them as just "dating on easy mode". Just as an example one girl I dated hated the sound of men peeing and expected me to sit every time I used the bathroom. So yeah, they're not all these docile obedient lambs who you can boss around.

Usually, this is to find someone who holds more conservative family values and traditional femininity. You can look it up yourself it'll pop right up if you google it. Primarily the definition I gave you pops up and I had to go pretty far down the page to find one article by a woman who uses it in the negative shameful context you're describing.
      The US dollar still goes about twice as far in Japan as it does in the US, obviously not ten times as far as in some of the countries you listed but still double can be significant. For example, someone who makes 30mil yen a year might prefer the lifestyle that affords them in Japan and not need to go to the Philippines. Would you consider this a Passport Bro by your view of the term as it's far more money than the general Japanese woman makes of 4mil a year? Asking for a friend.
      The only people using that term in a socioeconomic context are doing so to shame men who chose to go to another country where their money goes quite a lot farther so they tend to be wealthier than they are here, but there are plenty of already wealthy men who move to those countries as well. Consider that if someone goes to the Philippines for example, they cannot go there to get a job, they have a remote job, a large retirement or savings, or some form of foreign income to sustain themselves and a family for the rest of their lives. The average guy in the US who makes 40k a year isn't moving to the Philippines to do this, I know many lawyers, business owners, remote workers, and federal and military retirees who choose to move to countries like this.
      Most people just called these guys expats but this passport bro term became popular when the movement started seeing more traction with the rise of remote work and an increase in conservative men. The majority of the men going to these foreign countries are doing so to seek a traditional family life where they can enrich both their lives instead of staying here and just being part of a hook-up culture or being ignored because they are not part of the top 5% of guys getting all the attention now. Many of these guys have gone through failed marriages here, have too many assets to risk in the US to consider marriage, or just cannot find a traditional woman but have enough means to leave this country.
      I think men should seek happiness where they have the best chance of finding it and if it isn't in the Westernized world then I don't see why it's a problem for them to look beyond that.

He thought he had a serious relationship with a girl in the end she dumped him and married a Japanese guy being a delusional person is never a flex. In fact it is quite pathetic. Such a fascinating topic. I’m so glad you covered it. I don’t think it’s about nationality/race for passport bros though. It’s more about an alignment of values.
    If you’ve spent enough time understanding the culture of where you plan to move to and it matches with what you expect out of your partner, there could be a solid match.
    I think those who are moving without having put in that effort will be severely disappointed. For example, as many in this video have indicated, if you are uncomfortable approaching women, you won’t find success. You need to develop skills and talents in communication with women regardless of culture/nationality.
    Basically, moving somewhere without any skills dealing with women won’t lead to solid results. It will simply improve your likelihood of having genuine interactions leading to long term prospects based on the lack of hostility and abundance mentality from western feminism.
    By default it’s a better situation, but you still need to be attractive to some degree to maximize results.

    私は アメリカ人, Watching 日本人女性 become stronger, while retaining femininity, Is still attractive. it may be even more attractive than other cultures because it means that if i had dedicated myself to do something or commit to something that requires serious sacrifice, that means i would know she has what it takes to have my back, and carry my soul with the strength and femininity that most アメリカ人 have never experienced or ever had.

      At 7:55 the interview seems to explain an old Japanese femininity. I cannot say anything for everyone, But i actually only view this for Cultural events. we all know at some point culture changes. i have paid attention to Japanese culture and its changes since the early 2000's. so to the people who have not? they might expect that old Japanese femininity. but the point above still stands for most Americans who wish to pursue the understanding of Japanese culture.

I became fluent in Japanese in ~2.5-3 years, successfully changed my career field from military to cybersecurity for the remote work and job opportunities, and I'm still networking and improving myself so that very soon I can get out. Make no mistake: ALL guys know what's going on over in America is not normal. If you're even remotely above room temperature IQ, then you can barely stand living here. You can just turn on a random 4k shibuya night walk video and it will make you absolutely livid that it's impossible for us to have a society like that over here without a literal revolution (possibly a revolt). The best part is all the people I despise will NEVER set foot in Japan, and that's the way I want it. I don't care I won't be accepted as Japanese. One rule to remember boys, women, regardless of race and location, usual changes the moment they get married. Its the nature of women.
    Its better to marry first and get to know them then to get to know them then marry as you will get two different person before and after marriage.

    12:26 - This is the real Japan that no one talks about when it comes to dating here. Japanese women might find foreigners attractive, might even imagine something about dating them when they pass by you on the street, but they will rarely approach you, and even more rarely make any eye contact or hint in any way that they are interested. Of course, it's different at night around certain districts in big cities. But day to day? Eye contact is avoided like the damn plague. For real. She'll see you coming and when you get close enough to meet eyes, the women will literally turn their head to look away from you. Happens more often than you would imagine. I can promise you that. Who would want to approach any girl like that? Hell nah. That's a sure fire way to get rejected on top of the insecurity of you being a foreigner and the girl's English or foreign language level problems. Trust me, I'd love to do a podcast about real life in Japan but I'm just a nobody. You'll find out for yourself if you live here, not just visit.

    Japanese girls are truly the cutest and most beautiful of all the Asian races. I think the main problem though with dating Westerners is at least for me the language barrier it’s just too much effort to try and communicate and since you have very little in common there’s not a whole lot to talk about, once the physical attraction wears off you are done

    That whole question about, "would you like to be desired for your race or nationality," is a little bit unfair. Every relationship starts for superficial reasons, and the depth comes with time and familiarity. You can't know the person before you know the person after all. I think people travel to a specific place, because they want to meet people with certain similarities, but they're going to choose the person they like for that person's particular attributes.

    I think you are misrepresenting the passport bro's motivation for seeking relationships with women overseas. In the past decade or so, western women have increasingly adopted unrealistic standards for what they expect in a mate. They all want a man that's at least six feet tall, makes $100k or more per year, drives a nice car, is very handsome, etc. Unfortunately, only a small percentage of men can meet these standards. As a result, men are going overseas to countries where they are seen as attractive by the women in those countries. Many Asian women find western men to be particularly attractive, and Asian women are, on average, shorter than western women, so a western man that's 5''8" - 5'10" is seen as tall. Passport Bros are simply looking for a place where the local women will find him more attractive. That's it.

    A lot of the dating problems men face is that the West is in a 304flation epidemic. An average man has to put forth 10x effort for a woman who is 1/10th of the quality.
    Basic Bob and Cubicle Carl, who are 6/10 on the attractiveness scale, can NOT compete on dating apps. The top 5% of men get 80-90% of the matches. Even the 4/10's do NOT want the 6/10 Basic Bob or Cubicle Carl. The 3's and 4's think they qualify for the top 5% of men.

      The man doesn't "have" to go to Japan specifically. There are many, many, many countries to choose from. But he WOULD have a better dating experience overseas. If his plan is to commit LONG TERM (marriage, co-habitation, common law, and/or kids), then he should weigh the pros and cons.
      For "Passport Bros," there are 2 main categories.
      We have the "PPBs" who are willing to integrate into the culture, learn the language, etc. They want to have a family, etc. They wish to STAY in the target country.
      And then there are the "Passport Pookies." Their purpose is s3ggs.
      If he is wanting quick $3ggs, then NO, he should NOT go to ANY country. With 304, h0okup culture, if he has money to travel, he has money to be a 9/10 for a week. He can get $3ggs in the West.
