This is great! so many possible shapes to explore with just one simple gesture. I tried with different width of circle = diversity of flowers; I tried not to control the size of the petals so much = looks like the flower is tilted / on an angle. Really, you just invented a technique. Kudos! ;)
This isn't silly; it's revolutionary! When I saw you make the first petal on the first flower, I was literally like: 😱(only, not in a scared or worried way [just the hands and the mouth are what I did]).
I doodle as well with the blue pumpkin nib because it gives a lot of ink. One ends up looking like a bird sitting on a fence. I like the way you look at your brush pens at the end of each video. It always makes me giggle.I can see how much you love them.
You're adorable! You can make a heart by placing the tip of the thin spot at the bottom together and angle each "press" out a bit. Works great with Copics as well, you just need a round barrel/nib. Have fun with that one...

I started drawing, and badly at that, during the pandemic. It makes me happy and I don't really care that my talent is non existing, I keep on drawing. This little tutorial is great, it helps my self esteem, and makes me happy. Thanks

💯 I always doodle while listening! I can barely pay attention without doodling! Others in my classes always thought I wasn’t paying attention, but it was about the only way I could focus & it has continued into adulthood as I attend meetings.

This is the basis of a lot of face painting designs. If you two-tone them in face painting we call them “double-dip petals”. You could do that with brush pens too!!! That might blow your mind a bit too much for one day🤣🤯 x Rowena x

Brillant and love it! I also tried the technique with Arteza Real Brush pens - its not as controlled (as the nibs are very flexible) but it looks good as the 'centre' of a flower. I also got some interesting results with a Posca 'brush' pen. Going to try my Sharpies now!!

I do this with a round brush and watercolors sometimes too. It also makes fun "feathers" for a turkey or peacock.
