You were so delicate opening up the package. I'm like an animal when I have to get into something. I start tearing and pulling and ripping and stabbing.
I LOVE YOUR STYLE of writing/ drawing. Your little FLICKS at the end and your "a" is so cool and original! I've never seen that done before... in my whole long 4 month life of lettering!😂🙂🤣
Thanks for the input. I'm new to brush lettering. Will definitely have to go and get a box. Looking forward to going back and watch some of your videos.
Thank you so much Rose! I am embarrassed by the chaos, but let's face it. I am real life on this channel....i will probably muster up the courage soon!! xoxo
Thank You so much. I actually am learning again after a 7 month break...it is NOT easy but any help from you is always welcomed! Lettering videos...like quotes and lettering out the words from different challenges...seeing real time lettering truly does help!
EXACTLY!!! I still left all my wine stuff in there because, well, wine (LOL)...but the hubby helped make some great cubbies for all my markers and it's my favorite space in the house. :)
When we moved we didn't even try to have those rooms as a dining and formal lounge. It was straight to two big adjoining studies for my husband and I. Love it!
I NEED to do this!!! It's just a hot mess and I feel like I need to tidy up first...lol 🤣. It is definitely on my to do list! Thanks for watching Kerry!
Very good. Could you possibly do a video on how you set up your lighting and camera phone ? You have excellent lighting and camera position. With the use of natural light excellent.
you can never have enough pens! lol! They are cool, but wait for a coupon. I need to see how the ink is holding up now that its been awhile. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Hi Robyn! I just tested it out on my scribbles that matters dotted journal and you can see the shadowing on the back. You probably need to test it, but it might not work for what you want to use it with. Let me know how it goes!
I love your lettering techniques but watercolor paper is the worst for markers bc it absorbs moisture and will dry out a juicy marker quicker than any other paper.
Thanks Lenora! Yes, totally true, but the watercolor paper allows the ink to sit on top a little longer making it easier to blend...and it's all I had at the moment! lol! Thanks for watching 💕
I recently bought 2 sided pens (Art Minds) dual tip pens, when I tried to b's as good as You, lol, it kind of ran on me. What am I doing wrong. I would love to see a tour of your craft room.
Those are probably water based markers so a little easier to blend. Try watching some of the tombow or crayolas videos. They definitely work differently than the sharpie 🖤
Hey, I love art and I do it mostly in my free time, I’m wondering what these are called and where you can get it. As I said, I love art and I consider myself as a child (I’m 10) so I’m wondering if you can tell me this information so I can find them and see if I can buy it.
Hi! I always put links to what I am using in the video description! If you have some crayola broad line markers, which are usually more affordable, check out some of those videos! thanks!
Hi! You have an impressive stationary collection there in the background. Just an FYI for longevity of markers and pens, store them horizontally so the ink flows better and so they don’t dry out. :-)
i love you vlogs☺️ for its so helpful and informative for those loves doing lettering/calligraphy, just like me. I hope i can also have pens just like yours. Im from Phil. and im not sure if its available here in our country. its such a big help for me in helping my child in her projects in school. anyways, thanks again i found your channel☺️☺️☺️
I'm only just finding out about these!! Bc apparently I live under a rock, lol... After almost a month, what do you think about them now? Worth the $20, or? (Thanks so much for any further input if possible!)
i like them, but I do think they are a pain when they are drying out...But, I am glad i tried them. Maybe wait for them to go on sale? Thanks for watching!!
Aww, I was worried about the drying out - I've read others mention this too and was hoping maybe it was just a batch thing. On sale or with a coupon I could see giving them a go, but I'm certainly glad I came across your video first! Thank you so much for your reply. Hope you have a great weekend!
If you were to use these on a greeting card, would water make the color run? What if you were to "laminate" the page with clear packing tape? Would that make the lettering stay put nicely?
Hi Pam! Sharpie says the ink is water resistant so once it is completely dry that might be enough. Also, if you want more protection, go to my amazon shop: www.amazon.com/shop/thelemonadestore and check out the microglaze. It’s like a wax product you can use! Thanks for watching!
THIS IS!! SO WEIRD!! i've seen two videos about this now and comments say it dries out pretty quickly. mine didn't come with a pencil case tho. i had been using these for quite a while; for coloring and writing but for me they don't dry out at all!! i think it's been three months since i bought these markers from a sharpie event thing in the Philippines but they're still working like normal. it's quite weird seeing that when other people use them it dries out quickly so yep.
Lol, I do in the end. You just have to work really fast when blending or it won’t blend well 😂. Also, I often hold my pen caps super awkwardly...it’s like I forget I’m holding it, but don’t want it to roll around.
Question for everyone on here: do you recommend these for coloring or are they more for lettering and calligraphy type crafts? I bought them (minus the case) from Amazon recently for coloring in books
I did not like these. They get really dry while trying to letter long words or multiple words in a row. I haven't tried the black. Still like Tombow, Crayola, and Atist Loft over these - and it is not even close.
Is it really a good idea to be using alcohol based markers on paper meant for water based mediums? Is that maybe why it's drying out your markers really quickly? Crayola I know is water based and Tombow seems like it's water based so it makes sense that those would work well on watercolor paper.
I've been testing them out on some 32lb paper as well, and they do seem dry up if you write too fast. Like, the ink is very slow flowing maybe...They probably won't blend at all if you don't use a mixed media or watercolor paper though. But, if you really want blending, Tombow's would be the go to. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Hi! Mine are still okay, but I store them flat but have only used them a handful of times. I actually prefer a harder brush pen tip though. If you want to check out some of my faves with pricing, head over to my amazon influencer store www.amazon.com/shop/thelemonadestore 💙
I'm curious about the fumes -- compared to just regular Sharpies (which are pretty much immediately headache-inducing to me), are these are fumey as regular Sharpies or are they less so, more like other typical alcohol-based brush pens?
I don't smell much of anything with these pens. It writes like a different ink for sure too, so I think the smell is totally minimized! Thanks for watching!
I don't think they are alcohol markers, are they? According to stuff I've seen online, they seem more akin to the Sharpie Art Pens and not the "permanent" (headache inducing) line. According to the info, these don't bleed, so I would have loved to see that in the video...
they are definitely not water based, but the ink is different than the normal smelly sharpies. I couldn't find anything on their website or the box that says what the ink is...maybe I am missing it somewhere. I haven't noticed that they bleed, and I tested it on my journal too. But, you can see the shadow lines through the paper, so I would definitely test it out on whatever paper you want to use.
I think they are probably pigment based like Faber castell PITT artist pens. Although their Amazon listing says they are not archival quality unlike the Sharpie Art pens which are, so the formula is slightly different. Anyway, thanks for the review! I hadn't even noticed these existed!
I used watercolor paper in the video to test the ink out, but you should probably use smoother paper to preserve the tips. I like 32 lb paper for a lot of my pens. It's affordable, yet better than cheap copy paper.
On amazon there half the price for the same pack (just without the case) and the amazon prime is free Edit:Just got my markers and they shipped in one day they have amazing blending but they do need another skin colour
Hi! It depends. When you say brush tip, that is the type of tip the pen has on it. Some pens have a cone tip or brush tip or bullet nib etc. watercolor markers is the type of ink. Most types are either water based or alcohol based ink. You can blend water based markers using water. Hope this helps!
Hi! I have links to all supplies in the video description, but I have seen these at Target, WalMart, art supply stores. Here is the amazon link if you need it: amzn.to/2MB0YzL 💕

It seems like such a much better use of the space!! Now Im here all the time! 😀

I just bought these today!!! I’m excited to start learning how to use these!
awesome! let me know how you like them!
These are so cool. Definitely putting these on my wish list.
I was so excited about these, but literally the second time I used them they were really dry.
ETA: they were stored horizontally, too.
Awesome!💕😊💖
Oh no! I hope they dont dry out! I will test them out again a couple of times to see what happens! thanks for watching!
same problem. really bad. waste of $20 for me.
Very good. Could you possibly do a video on how you set up your lighting and camera phone ? You have excellent lighting and camera position. With the use of natural light excellent.
Excellent idea! I think I will do this in an upcoming studio vlog. thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it 💕
You are welcome
Thanks for sharing! Wish I had seen this before I went shopping today. These look great.
you can never have enough pens! lol! They are cool, but wait for a coupon. I need to see how the ink is holding up now that its been awhile. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Can you see the ink through the other side of the paper? I have a billet journal so I wouldn’t want to mess it up x:)
Hi Robyn! I just tested it out on my scribbles that matters dotted journal and you can see the shadowing on the back. You probably need to test it, but it might not work for what you want to use it with. Let me know how it goes!
The Lemonade Store Thank you! Light shadowing is fine I guess. I will check them out soon! Thanks again 💘
Oh my gosh, now I know how to use my gift cards! Thanks!
I got these today hopefully everything is well with them!!🧸🎀
Omg I want to buy that right now!!!!!! I hope I can find it!

yes for sure! Some pens though, like the tombows and karin watercolors say to store them upright, so just make sure to check!
I’d love a tour!
i need to this...thanks Patricia!💕

Thank you for the video, it’s driving me nuts you leave the caps off, lol. My weirdness, haha

I'm so glad you did this review, Chelle! I was curious how they perform with all the hype I've seen lately :)

Question for everyone on here: do you recommend these for coloring or are they more for lettering and calligraphy type crafts? I bought them (minus the case) from Amazon recently for coloring in books
Hi! Your link for the 32 lb paper is the same as the original sharpie pens!
oh no! Thank you for letting me know. I updated the link and here it is in case you need it! amzn.to/2IAfy7N . 🧡
I did not like these. They get really dry while trying to letter long words or multiple words in a row. I haven't tried the black. Still like Tombow, Crayola, and Atist Loft over these - and it is not even close.
i think its the ink the are using. i will test mine out again today. Such a bummer because I want to like them so much!
update - the black brush pen works pretty good, the other colors is where they weren't as good and fade out quickly.
Is it really a good idea to be using alcohol based markers on paper meant for water based mediums? Is that maybe why it's drying out your markers really quickly? Crayola I know is water based and Tombow seems like it's water based so it makes sense that those would work well on watercolor paper.

I need one of the big fat black barrel sharpies but whenever I try to look up sharpie brush tips I get these ones. Any help please?
If you want to change a colored pen into a metallic-colored pen, where do you send it?
I love this but people say that these dry out quickly. What are some cheap brush pens for beginners
Hi! Mine are still okay, but I store them flat but have only used them a handful of times. I actually prefer a harder brush pen tip though. If you want to check out some of my faves with pricing, head over to my amazon influencer store www.amazon.com/shop/thelemonadestore 💙

Had a lot of problems if writing awhile had to stop and come back due to color not coming out
Oh no! Like they completely dried up? That is a bummer.
WHY DOES MY LOCAL STORE DOESNT HAVE THOSE SHARPIE BRUSH PENS?!!?? OHMYGEE I NEEEED THOSE
I don't know! I don't always see them in the store either! But you can get them online!
Do these sharpies require smooth paper or any kind because I just got them and im scared to try them on plain printer paper and ruin the tip :(
I used watercolor paper in the video to test the ink out, but you should probably use smoother paper to preserve the tips. I like 32 lb paper for a lot of my pens. It's affordable, yet better than cheap copy paper.
Do they bleed through like the thick one you have?
It depends on the paper, but I would say yes just like regular sharpies do
Awesome FINALY❣️❣️❣️
These look good
Thank you! awesome video miss Lemonade! :D
can you blend with those like copic markers could?
I would say the copics are better for blending. Thanks!
I bought some two months ago Never knew they were new . Usually Im always late.😂
Lol! Love it!
On amazon there half the price for the same pack (just without the case) and the amazon prime is free

Wow! These are super cool Chelle! I love Sharpie so I need to add these to my list to buys.
they are super fun! I love Sharpie too so excited to see these. Thank you Anetria! xoxo
I have a question (plz answer ANYONE) : Are watercolor markers and brush tip pens the same?

Where can i buy that sharpie
I have links in the description but I find them all over the place!
Where can i buy these? Ive been finding them for almost 2 weeks 😭
Hi! I have links to all supplies in the video description, but I have seen these at Target, WalMart, art supply stores. Here is the amazon link if you need it: amzn.to/2MB0YzL 💕
Are these real brush tips made from bristles or are they felt tips that are just soft?
Hi! They are felt tips that are soft. Not the bristle type. Thanks for watching!
is this suitable for fabric
Probably not, but you can always test a small section. I love love love these fabric pens: amzn.to/39Odqbz ! I use them on paper too!
Love this!
I like it too. Thanks!
Are those permanent ink? Thanks
Hi my name is Nayli and i love your vid so much
Your videos helps me a lot in calligraphy and finding a good brush pen
Keep up the good work! 👍👍
Beautiful Name Nayli! I will add it to the jar! Thank you so much for watching!
The Lemonade Store Thank you! ❤
I love this markers
Are they based on alcohol or water?
I tried but it isn't working 😢😢😢
What paper did you use? You probably need to use watercolor or mixed media in order for the ink to stay a little wet. 💕💕
I used brush pen and some kind of markers on a sketchbook paper basics
But my result was bad it was big and messy maybe that's not my thing
You didn't turn the paper over 2 c if they bled through.
I really like those sharpies but sometime can you make a video of you drawing or coloring with those sharpies please
that's a good idea! Thanks for watching!
So will you
I don't know yet! I have a few videos I want to get out, and I am working on my next video on how to use Crayolas this week. I need to see how I like them for coloring first before I ever do a video....Thanks Kamryn
I love it. But Tombow is a bit thicker than the new sharpie brush pen set. Sorry but its true
Awesome!
Can you do a call on with lucid neema
wish you would have shown if they bled threw or not 😭
They definitely will show through on thinner paper, and in my journal you can see a prominent shadow. It's still that sharpie ink, so think how regular sharpies would be bleeding through. Hope this helps!!
Are there brush pens that have flexible tips? Not like a paintbrush!
yes, these have felt tips like a tombow; the do not have bristles like a paint brush. Hope that answers your question and thanks for watching!! ✨
The Lemonade Store it did now I can replace my current utensil! thank you sweetie, always
Does these bleed through?
They definitely will leave a shadow unless the paper is fairly thick. Test it in the back if its in your journal to be safe! Thanks for watching! 🖤
Ues would like a studio tour
I’ll be working on one soon!
i love sharpie
Lol $19 & 99 cents! Imma wait when it’s on clearance lol
I have seen them on sale once in awhile at target with the cartwheel app! Also, maybe michael's coupon might work? Thanks for watching!
shouldve added a blending tool
ooo yes
for realsies, though
Tbh i didnt like these for drawing, they ran out of color really fast and takes them hours of laying to gain color to the nib which then ran out very fast but i did love the colors
Yeah !!!!
Juicy 🤨😏
