Oh my gawd, dude, my heartfelt condolences that you had to go thru all that in June! :O You absolutely don't have to apologize for needing to focus on real life! Real life is where the LIVING part happens! If anyone, even your own inner critic, comes at you with "but where's muh content, Sputnik??" I'll drop-kick em into next week! They have NO IDEA how to be a good person, and we don't listen to bad people, because they have bad takes and want us to suffer. And that's terrible. I'm not a Fallout-head, so I wouldn't play F:L myself, but BOY am I impressed by ANY mod that includes voice-acting! That's a HUGE accomplishment, and I hope the modders have a donate link option, they deserve some remuneration for that effort!
You don't need patching in Fo1+2 The patches are for bug fixes and higher res The steam and GoG versions of Fo1 and 2 come with the High res patch pre-installed The only Fo really hard to get working is Fo3 (or atleast used to due to games with live) Now, if you say this is better than 1 and 2 i might REALLY dig into it because i really have yet to find many games that come close to 1 and 2 None of the main series certainly did, so this might be a really fantastic mod.
I personally like it a lot but I wouldnt say it's better than 1+2 It's definitely more accessible and for me, that makes it a lot more more immediately enjoyable.
