Just about to finish up my PPL. Have a relative with a 150HP Super Cub and big tires like these. He's going to teach me to fly it, and I CAN NOT WAIT. This video put a huge smile on my face.

This is the first video of yours I've seen. I really like your scientific approach to things. I'd love to see a video by you where you keep all the weight on the wheels until you reach VX. My thinking is, no induced drag before VX is reached, thus VX is reached in a shorter distance. While ground effect reduces induced drag, it doesn't eliminate it. EDIT: I realized my thinking pertained to an obstacle clearance takeoff and not a shortest ground roll takeoff.

That was a fun weekend, it was cool meeting you. My pacer needs more wing and more hp... it’s cool seeing it in your videos!

Nice video. Hey guys, I have my IR checkride coming up. What does "I Guarantee you will pass your Checkride!" mean? Are you going to pay for my checkride if I fail it after doing your course?

“Rotate Clean” is a bit confusing. Rotate smooth would be better. Since the term clean means no flaps.

      Good point.
I can hear my English teacher..." rotate SMOOTHLY" 😅

Alaska would be great. I fly often in ANC, I fly the big cargo aluminum tube as a living and fly my Texan here in Switzerland. I am always looking for more flying experience.

2:30 that was a surprisingly slow takeoff, was not sure if you slowed the footage down to explain what was going on, Just floated away like a feather haha
