Ohh! Dave! Mums got a couple of little ones with her! Get in there and dig those little cuties out! Mum is absolutely stunning! Hopefully she'll lay another sack for you!!!🥰😍
Looks like the babies inherited their mother's love of adventure! LOL!! Great episode, good luck catching some more (there's a couple in there with Mum at the back there!)
Ah yes, the huntsman! Another favourite of mine. Loads of fun when, at night, you're driving along and one reckons it's fun to run over your hands on the steering wheel! 😰 Or the time my brother was riding his motorbike, when the unmistakable shape suddenly appeared on his visor. He quickly attempted to swipe it away, only to discover that it's on the inside of his helmet. Without stopping, he ripped off his helmet, threw as far as he could, and kept on his way! 😰 Then there's the one about a very attractive young lady who requested my help to rescued her from a huntsman keeping watch atop her front door......but that's for another day. 😰😁🕸🕷
There's two there beside her Dave , they are so small and their colouring is so good that they are almost impossible to see.. Just under her front leg near her body I saw two more.. Have a look , great cammo .. hahahaaa smart little buggars. LOL xx Enjoy miss stowaway... I've had five on the back of my front door , not a sight I wanted to see believe me.. You can come and collect if you want ???? PLEASE. LOL.....
There are 5 in the cork bark n the one next to her foot looks like it moulted already. 🤞 you catch em n they get to have happy spood life's instead of being cellar spider dinner. Great vid as always Dave Camera Lady.
Hello Dave and Camera Lady. What a fun and funny video. Everyone was asking for a follow up so there you go. Maybe Camera Lady can record you chasing down babies and fighting with the cellar spiders when you come to the rescue! Sounds like an epic adventure to me. Best of luck in gathering up the youngsters. Thank you for a lovely video as always. Always so nice to hear from you Camera Lady. Y’all stay safe, take care and have a wonderful end to your week. ❤💛🧡🤠
I spotted a couple in with mum. I have to say, I do agree with camera lady. I know you don’t name anything but you absolutely have to name the slings 1,2,3. It’s highly amusing and would be a lovely memory 😊 although a pain in the bum for you both trying to find & catch them all 😂
This got me giggling out loud. I think you and Mrs. Camera Lady should take your show on the road...the two of you bantering was so cute! (And good luck with the spideys!)
I was really excited to see the update video on little Britney! She was a girl! I hope you find some more of her babies. Also I saw a few people asking in previous videos comments what area of Australia she came from. The shipping port was Melbourne, Victoria if that helps. Thanks for looking after her so well and great to see her again. Look forward to the updates soon, let us know your capture totals
I see others have already mentioned the few visible at 5:40. I see at least 3. So I am hoping you have had a chance to try and catch them as well. The camouflage factor makes them so damn hard to see on that bark. I love these spiders. One of my top 3 favorites. I was so happy that they called you to rescue her. I wish you luck in finding more of them. Thanks to you and Camera Lady for another suspenseful episode of "Where's my babies?" 🤣 👶🏼🕷❤️
I'm late seeing this Dave, sorry. But so enjoyable! I respect and learn from many channels and keepers, but you and Camera Lady are my favorite! It's educating, fabulously interesting and funny too at many times...this is one! I am a sucker for an English accent as well!😂
Dave, have you ever considered getting a misquito head net to surround the enclosure of similar spiders...the kind that can go over any hat and have a draw-sting. Once an egg sac is laid, place he "hood" over the enclosure to corral the tiny beasties?
David glasses checked there are a few next mum by her legs . That's still going to be one hell of a game hide and seek 🤣🤣🤣 Well done Camera lady as always . Good luck with the hunt 🥰
Hi Dave, when my camroom crab spider double clutched. I put her enclosure into a cream coloured bin with Vaseline on the inside to stop the babies escaping 😁 Then I potted them up whilst they were walking around the bin. Great video mate 👍
at 5:37, you can see three more with mum... love seeing this in another country... love these guys, catch alot and release them back into the bush here in australia.
If you look back on the video when you took the backing board off and showed her on the cork there was another 3 babies near her. One just up and too the right above her moves. You might be lucky and and have another 3 to catch. Fab video as always guys. Keep up the great work x
I have on my travels always encountered these characters, from bathrooms, kitchens, sheds, car door handles, sun loungers and take delight watching them, busy chaps with excellent eyesight as they will watch you too, although their surprise skills are unmatched--especially tucked behind curtains or under the toaster!! One of my favorite type of spider, A cool funny video today Dave--you'll have a job tearing the Beastie room apart--more likely a couple will be about your person as you move about your home! Happy Huntsman hunting my friend! 🙂
If you go to MM 5:16 and "full screen" you will see a sling at the tip of Mom's rear leg. And another just under that same leg, closer to her body. That to me tells me that there are more in there.
I laughed through this. 😂 Only an Aussie spider could cause chaos 🤣 I look forward to keeping up with them growing and how mum is. Love from Australia 💕
When we lived in Australia we played in a old caravan as kids and came eye to eye with a huge female with a sack we 💩 ourselves and took off it was the size of our heads 😂 never forget that awesome video favorite TH-camr 💗
That was awesome.. lol it’s a shame you don’t have a time lapse camera in the beastie room… could have had the fantasia music as they all scarpered…. Hopefully you have some luck finding some more thanks for cheering me up this wet and horrid morning at work
Hi Dave well there were a few little buggers and there but like you said where are the other 50 or 60. I know both of you will have fun Hunting them down, And yes I Laughed too, It was a great funny video I loved it, So tiny they crawled right out of the vent, and We can hope for a double sack, Have a great week
We have them in South Africa where we call them rain spiders, because they always appear just after it rains in summer. I used to always get calls to come and take it away. Lovely, well tempered beauties.

Even my granddaughter, who had just woken up for school, came into my room to see what I was laughing about 🤣 Thanks for the entertainment on this gloomy morning in Durham. I do hope you manage to catch more of the little buggers 😄
Call me crazy, but I swear I saw one or two babies hanging around the mom. Take a closer look. I'm sure of it. (I am due for an eye exam, though lol). What a fun video!
Oh man. You two are so much fun. Well three of them isn’t too bad. Aptly named ‘huntsman’ as the way they do a runner. Take care and thanks so much for this video!❤️
I'm lucky enough to live in a part of the world where these are common. Its pretty cool to have large harmless spiders that will just hang about on your walls keeping the flies down.
The huntsman spiders are so cool. Active spiders like that have always been interesting to me. Where I live we've got these little guys called crab spiders. The first time I saw a picture of a huntsman I thought it was an edited picture of the little crabby critters is see through spring and summer. In a relaxed position they have the same stance and body shape as a huntsman but the easily fit on a dime.
Love seeing how she's been getting on. I remember when she was unboxed. What a need surprise to see she has become a mom! Happy hunting for her slings.
I saw a baby besides the mother on the bark! They are so cute, I a do love those spiders! 🕷❤ Now you need to be the hunters for the escaped babies! Have a wonderful rest of the day and weekend dear Dave and Sweet Camera Lady! Ps. Sorry for the babies but perhaps the cellar spiders gets their fill now too!
I guess you still have a couple of stowaways hiding with mum! Best of luck that you catch them before the cellar spiders! Wouldn't it be a kick if mum double clutches!?!? I'm crossing my fingers for that! Camera Lady, I love your laugh! You make me laugh too 😆
I watched the other video where 'Brittany' (oh ye who does not name his spiders, lol) had another egg sac, it was very good. What has surprised me though, is the webbing in her home. Granted, it is extremely minor compared to other spiders, but I didn't know they could actually have 'webs' as such. Tbh, I have never thought about them having babies or anything, but the no web part always makes them sound more pleasing. We also get the 'white tailed spider' here too and like the huntsman (although much, much smaller), it cleans out all the other wee beasties, but it makes it's web on the bottom side of the cornices etc. and it's web is as tough as old boots to remove. You can't see if the spider is inside or not, so it's really scary. These spiders were reported to cause necrosis of the flesh if they bit you, but thankfully, that was debunked. However, it's still in your mind when you're cleaning the webs away, lol.
I am from Sth Australia and we have huntsman everywhere, they love ceilings and walls in our house. They are harmless, they will walk on your hand and I usually put them outside. If you look at the mother's bark there are at least two babies there. Thanks for sharing this one Dave, love your Aussie huntsman xx
5:37... I see at least three under the mother's legs sort of, unless those are molts. perhaps more stayed, or even made it to the rocks on the bottom lol. HOW DID THEY GET OUT?!^^ \O>
Can you imagine if one of Dave's neighbors who perhaps wasn't especially spider-savvy watched this video and heard that 100 or so Australian Huntsman Spiders are loose in the locality...
Great video mate, I now have my own pet Sydney huntsman , about a week ago I found it in my kitchen sink, and in the last 4 days I have caught another 6, and released them in the garden, they are about the size of a 50 cent piece, so i made up an enclosure out of a large water jug, put pebbles and soil, and sheets of bark placed with.the many hiding spots, so thanks for the videos that have taught me heaps, it's feeding great, and drinking , will get a larger enclosure when it's a bit bigger, love watching it hunt and feed , great video mate,
I've found dead Giant House Spiders in my cellar spider webs. It's crazy how efficient their "ranged attack" is, and fascinating to watch them throw web while circling prey butt-first from a few inches away. It's genuinely the one thing I worry about as I plan to get a tarantula sling--if it escapes, the 'wild' spiders here would kill it in hours. I gotta be CAREFUL.
@@daveslittlebeasties thank you 😄I have a strict no squish policy on my local spiders in the wild and spent my summer bring fascinated by a cat faced orb spider 😄huge shout out to camera lady 😄I don't know if I could hold it together like she does😄you guys amaze me😄
Great job guys. Excellent content and footage. Dave, you're a great orator for sure ;) I actually just finished up with my second sac of C. salei. She had double clutched. I had had a mess of a time with the second sac and low and behold, actually caught up an escapee yesterday. We also have cellar / house spiders here in the states, so I'm not hopeful in finding any more.. Thanks again!
Looks like there were another 3 next to the mother. Good luck with finding any more! What a surprise :)
