    Someone probably already mentioned this, but "verchromt" means "chrome-plated". Just as a side note!

    • @martin09091989
      @martin09091989 4 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Yep! I was about to say the same.
      Just an addition, the shiny chrome-plated that everyone knows consists of a base made of copper and nickel, and only a thin layer of chrome on top.
      This typ of chrome plating might be wats called "hard chroming".

    • @JamesJozef
      @JamesJozef 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      ...and to be more specific,the base coating is copper with nickel over top of it, rather than it being a mixture of copper and nickel. The copper is there to promote better adhesion of the nickel coating over top of it, since nickel does not adhere well to a lot of metals.

      Yeah except for I think the whole point of the book character James Bond was that he was a gentleman who persuaded his way around and had a tiny minimalist subtle gun that he could hide. but they had a gunfighter thing was way secondary to the smooth talker thing. what was supposed to be cool about it was how tiny and sneaky it was not but it was a powerful gun. Although sometimes the way the author talks about it gives you the impression that he was not a gun guy and just asked his gun guy friends what gun they thought it was cool and he assumed it was powerful. 32acp

    Wow what a great looking target pistol! I have always been a fan of Walther. The first one I ordered in for a local Highway Patrol Officer was the Walther TPH in .22 LR. The little pistol was just amazing, in fact I almost ordered myself one, but my good wife sort of put the KIBOSHKSKY on it. The HP officer used the little hide out gun for a backup and wanted quality and performance, which is a standard at Walther.

      @@redram5150 My Hardballer Longslide .45 worked just fine, they get a bad rap mostly from people that don't own them or don't run them with enough oil.
      Heck it was a blast putting 1K rounds throught it(most I've put through any 1911) it only liked FMJ ammo but I never had any issues with it, had a great trigger, and it was exceptionally accurate due the extended sight radius and longer barrel and slide. Only reason I got rid of mine is it just wasn't a practical handgun, was only good as a range blaster, if it fed JHP I would have been tempted to try using it for handgun hunting.

    A quick check to see if a PP or PPK is early is to take a look at the safety/decocker: If it is a 90 degree, as this one, it is made before 1935. If it is a approximately 60 degree safety it is newer.

    The Terminator would approve this weapon to add to his collection of long slides.

    Oh, I like that golden trigger. That’s how I design my guns on RDR2

      @NerfBeard ' Best golden trigger design in my opinion: Sig Sauer P210 legend 6" 'Midnight'

      But don't even ask about the price, it's insane.

      I've got a blued marlin repeater with brass trigger and hammer. I live the way it looks and feels

      @NerfBeard ' I personally don't have much hope for Online, you just need to look at how they treated GTA Online to get a preview of the work they will likely do on RDR2 Online.
      Besides, I think Story Mode provides a much better experience and an engaging storyline. I also have many hours on it, but I keep coming back and replaying through the story just to relieve the experience. A bit how you rewatch your favourite film over and over again.
