- Hi Guys! As you all know, this is my first time moving out of my parents house and living alone, that too in Mumbai! I have had all sorts of emotions in the past one month! How will I adjust, build my team, achieve my goals, be happy and make new friends!

Mumbai is safest city of India, that's why even during 26th July rains we never felt insecure even when we females were on flooded roads.

Itne bartan nikaalne se accha hai Ek hi plate mein sab kaatlo. Especially, if you live alone try and use less utensils so you don't have too many dishes to do later on.

I’m a mumbaikar .. born and brought up in Mumbai & education also done in Mumbai ... I have this habit of going out whenever I want because Mumbai is safe, recently I got admission in Delhi University.. considering what you said about Delhi being more unsafe should I move to Delhi or not?? Just a matter of 3 years though ...
Bumble is a really terrible app in terms of security. Some imposter stole my photo and set up a profile. These things happen a lot, but what disappointed me is Bumble being very casual about it and not having a system strong enough to find and delete that profile. So be aware that there are a lot of fake profiles on Bumble.

Hey Sejal!! I still feel the same at times as you are currently feelings. It's been 5 years since I'm away from home. At times it's really depressing and low staying away from family but at times I really feel proud as I'm financially independent, bought a own house, have my own space and couple of good friends around. Tension naako... You will settle down with time. Good luck gal 👍😘

Experience says that you very soon get used to your own space so much so that it becomes difficult to again get back to people around set up but yes does get little lonely at times but it is a cool ride.. just go along & njoy the journey.. you will be a better person for it!

So i really wanna know if renting a 1 room kitchen bathroom is possible for a 18 Yr old? Being a middle class child. Can i get some advice or something please

Welcome to my (our) city of dreams, Sejal!!! You're spot on the thought abt being safe in Mumbai coz I've seen both the world's Mumbai vs Delhi/Gurugram and I cannot help but say, Mumbai is much much safer than it's counterparts. Do visit Marine Drive with your gang in the night or early morning. You can also explore Navi Mumbai since it is the planned (sister) city of Mumbai. It's cleaner and greener 🙂. As for your household repair works, you can take services from UrbanClap. The technicians/ electricians who visit are friendly and well groomed. Hope this helps. Lemme know what all you've explored till now in Mumbai.

The best part of moving to Mumbai for me has been the safety part. It is amazingly liberating just to walk out of your home anytime of the day. Its something like how males always enjoyed this privilege and have taken it for granted. It's a privilege in our society to walk out of your home at any time of the day and not get molested. I never knew this feeling while living in Delhi. Best of luck Sejal . You gonna love this city (minus the potholes and having to deal with landlords ). ❤

It would be a way to create awareness that being shamed for being skinny is not okay.
