Your music choice is good
I noticed you have the GTR shocks because you have a platinum/ultimate edition. The Traxxas springs are TOO SOFT. Check out VG Racing GTR springs. They are way stiffer and made a huge improvement on my slash for bashing and track use.

proline thumbscrew body mounts and body reinforced with glassfiber tape and rubber glue (shoe goo or similar) where the threads go through for ultimate bashing body.

I've got a 14v snap on 1/4 in. impact, you can set the torque to just 1 ft lb and not strip anything
I put the erevo brushless edition 2200 vxl motor and esc in mine running dual 3 cells on it . My highest speed yet is 85 not only confirmed by telemetry and traxxas app but also by a local sherriffs radar gun,that was 3/4 throttle with now tms active

Need 17mm adapter and grp slicks. Gotta add some weight to the front and do speed body. Check out phillip jolley slash goes 170 on 8s
i put a 2650kv in mine 4 years ago with a robinsin racing clutch also the drive shaft and 21t 55 its a mean basher on 6s

That thing is gonna fly on 6s. Can't wait to see a high speed run. How about a wheelie bar that raises and lowers using your 3rd channel?
kev in heavyier cars use atleast nlgi 2 grease in the bearings they will last way longer and have less resistance under load. also keeps water/dirt out better

Hey Kev, ceramic bearings are a ton better than steel. They're worth the extra money for sure. They are wayy more durable than steel bearings and have hardly any resistance too.
Do you think a e revo motor would fit in there

If you completely cote the bearings with marine grease or car grease than you can water proof the bearings

This might be helpful, I skateboard, and on my bearings I take off one seal and put it towards the inside of the wheel, so if I need to grease them again I don't have to take off the seal, not sure if you could do that with your rc bearings or not

Do you plan on gearing it differently to actually reach that speed? Is the weight enough on the front to keep it from just flying off the ground? Can the motor spin that high?! Dunno, but it will be an awesome video either way!

Do you ever use your rustler anymore Kevin? I just bought the new vxl that came out... inspired by your videos. Do you have short course tires on your rustler? Did you have to change any gearing?
you can easily burn up the esc by running a high kv motor like 3800 or something on 6s. the esc's normally have motor limits.

Also did you open up the diffs and what oil did you put inside

Tip, some Dewalt drills have a torc selector, so it doesn't strip the plastic
at about 60mph I say its going to catch air unless you do some slicing up of the body. Hell mine did only running 3s
Kevin this is only a suggestion. You should get the Tekno RC M6 driveshaft kit for slash 4x4 ( both front and rear ). This is what I use and I have never broke one ever since I put it on. Just saying :D
