better to build a bulletproof case
How heavy and bulky do you want it to be? Considering even 3mm of Ti deforms enough under a bullet hit to break the phone, you would need a rather hefty shell - basically a full on *case* made of thicker material. With padding. This is being sold as a bit of extra protection without sacrificing weight and form-factor, which is precisely what it does.
I wish he would have demonstrated the full decocker on that HK. Has a lot of pretty cool features. Also love how he hit everyone on the feels with that intro he just woke up and decided ima make some people cry today.

I whole-heartedly agree about H&K. I use the USP .40 as my duty weapon. Been carrying this one since I graduated the police academy here in California back in 2000. I used to carry a Beretta 96 when I was a Deputy in Colorado back 1992 through 1995. Much more I prefer my H&K. I had an on-duty motorcycle crash back in December 2006. Though my H&K when skittering down the freeway with me after I came off the bike, I only had to replace the butt plate on the magazine that was in the weapon when I crashed. Didn't even knock the sights off. I'm STILL carrying that very gun today. Been super reliable.
That pistol is a curious, and functional recovery of previous concepts. It is partly like a J. P. Sauer Und Sohn 38(h) with its double action, safety on the slide, concealed hammer, and its cocking and decocking lever. A basic weapon disassembly button like on the old Mauser HSC inside and in front of the trigger guard. Even the roller lock system seen on a handgun on CZ/VZ 52. A cocktail that went very well for HK... ✨🖖😄✨

I find it hilarious that the company that made this is probably laughing all the way to the bank with people that actually paid full price for these things it's literally an iPhone that doesn't even have any outward facing cameras because all they basically did is epoxy a slab of titanium to the back of an iPhone and machined indents to accept the camera array. Then they put it in a box that probably has the same amount of tech as one of those Hallmark cards that play a song with a James Bond impersonation song because that's not even actually the real tune so of course they didn't want to pay the licensing fees. Yeah they made bank if someone bought one.

@@pinchpeak5203 i didn’t, haha. Dunno if you’ve ever fired a gun (or repaired electronics- i work for the IT department of college I attend lol) but there is no way a phone is gonna survive that. The shock transferred (titanium is a solid, after all) is always gonna travel through the material and destroy the components. you’d need to isolate the components with quite the layer of shock absorbing materials like gel and gaskets; this’d make it about as thicc as one of those old brick-sized “car phones” or briefcase phones lol

Bought the gun in .45 in 1976 in Germany. Among the first produced. Still use it occasionally and did carry it for years, so somewhat holster worn. (
(Retired from military in 1995) Has always functioned perfectly. Still does with no such nonsense with the magazine. Still love the gun for its accuracy, ergonomics and ease of shooting.

There si a slide release lever - its on the left side of the grip (usually there's placed a mag release button like in a Glock or Beretta M9 for example). Also slide release lever serves for deсocking or cocking the trigger.
