Its a special thing to be able to do things for your dad as a son... unfortunately I'll never get the opportunity due to my dad passed away when I was 16 ( it's been 14 years since his passing ) and it was one of the hardest life experiences I've ever had. Seeing this video made me tear up a bit because I use to target practice and go hunting with him and this video reminded me of all the fun times we had together. Thank you Matt for all of your wonderful content! 👍💯

I lost my father at 15, and watching this reminded me of a time we got me, my dad, and his dad all together and spent all day giving an old broken fridge the absolute business. We spent all night loading mags the day before. Good times. Thanks for the memories Matt

My Dad passed when I was 35, thankfully I was able to live at home full-time the last 2 years to be with him. I still think of him and thank him every time I fix something around the house, or finish a project that he would have liked.

I lost my dad to a heart attack and I wish he was with me at this moment it's been 10 years now. This video put a smile on my face and I feel like I was there and this is how it would feel like to be with him sharing these little precious moments. That smile on your dad's face is everything. My father died of cardiac issues about sixteen years ago. I miss him.

I lost my mom this summer from complication to Dementia. Keep them close, you never know when your last day with them will be. The last thing I did was argue with her over something stupid and it still haunts me.

Watching this really brings back memories of shooting with my grandfather for me. He was a total badass with an extensive military career, and he loved having (safe) fun with guns... most of my early shooting experiences and interest in guns came from him. I really envy that Matt has all this on video, I would give a lot to have more footage and pictures with me and my granddad having fun.

I’ve watched this video almost a dozen times. I love watching Matt and his Dad interact with such joy and love. My father passed in may of 2021 and I still miss him everyday. His only FA was a .22lr Ruger Wrangler that he never really got to shoot. He was a Vietnam vet but when he and my Mom started having kids, they didn’t want an FA in the house.(It was 1975, so there was that). When he passed, my Mom gave me the FA. I have some great memories of him talking about that FA and now I can take my kids to the range and fire it for him. Thanks Matt for allowing all of the Demolitia into your family. (BTW Matt is a GREAT name, reserved for heroes, historically awesome people and overall great guys). LOL

I absolutely love the videos you make with your family. My Pop’s was my hunting/shooting buddy. We bagged some monster bucks together. Unfortunately, dementia set in and shortly after that he had a massive stroke. 5 months later he was gone. I haven’t even really shot a gun since he lost his memory in 2015. This video definitely brings back the memories and some tears.
Just found out my dad has MS and will be in a wheelchair the rest of his life soon. Enjoy these days, Matt. You never know what could happen. Glad to see you having fun with your old man ❤

My step dad, who raised me had a stroke like 12 months ago, he survived but i haven't spoken to him since it happened because he just refuses to talk to me or if he does he's just an absolute cunt, he allready was a cunt but now hes got no chill its sad we had an amazing relationship i hope one day he will realise whats happening and we can talk again

I love the difference in northern vs southern states. Matt “ it’s cold out, it’s like 30” wearing coats and long pants. Meanwhile in Wisconsin it warms up to 26 and everyone is in cut off shirts and shorts.
I'm Norwegian and 30° is Tee Shirt weather.
It's really the same thing in Canada as well, being on the coast. It hits like 18" and it feels like everyone is wearing winter clothing. Further Inland and it warms up to 10 and it's nothing but summer clothes
I’d like to see how you would do in 100 plus degree weather while doing heavy labor outdoors. Where I worked because of the assault pavement it could average 115 plus. We set our air conditioning at 85 and that seemed cold to us. Just saying. Oh I live in So cal not Texas that is hotter.
