Fine video. I have one, thinking about getting another just because. It’s probably my favorite all rounder.

Takes a bit of practice you said.
I see you have done plenty of practice. I have only seen a few bush crafters leave their sticks longer than ‘stove length’ before processing feathers. It is safer, especially when drawing cuts toward you. It also allows you to rest an end on the ground, a stump, a bench or anything to add stability to the work holding, which I see you also do. I see survival instructors who preach adaptability and cannot even change this habit of always using 14-18 inch logs. Pity.
Here is another thing that may help people make finer feathers. Use the grain. Everyone knows that in concept but how many know how to interpret what the wood is telling you? Is it difficult to keep the knife from ‘digging in’? I LOVE IT! Try turning the stick around end for end so you are curving in the opposite direction. The more the knife wants to dig in one way, the better it behaves in the opposite direction.

    ( Don't throw it though.
A video shows that it is a skeleton-type of tang 'under/in' the handle - that brakes on impact. :-( )

Hi bud, what’s the best way to remove that traction coating? Paint thinner/nail polish remover? And do you have to soak it for a period of time?
    Great videos pal
    Cheers, Kane

Nail polish remover soaked in paper towel and wrapped around the blade and left for a hour. Remove with sand paper
