- Meet the face of our new documentary! Eva Sergeenkova is a graduate of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. We spent with Eva one of the most important periods of her student life - the graduation year. We were lucky to capture her preparations to the state exams, her work under the guidance of the professor Marina Leonova, her performance with the Bolshoi Ballet troupe and graduation concerts. This film is more than a portrait of a young ballerina, it is an opportunity to show the inner life of one of the best Ballet Academies in the world.
As though being stepped down from the Renaissance paintings Eva is a ballerina that represents a rare combination of endless lines and high technics, touching beauty and clear mind, natural tenderness and strong personality. Tomorrow Eva starts her new season with the Bolshoi Ballet. We wish her a bright and beautiful creative journey!

Героиня нашего нового фильма выпускница Московской государственной академии хореографии Ева Сергеенкова. Мы провели с Евой один из самых важных периодов ее учебной жизни - выпускной год. Нам повезло запечатлеть подготовку к Государственным экзаменам, работу с профессором Мариной Константиновной Леоновой, выступление Евы с труппой Большого театра и Выпускные концерты. Этот фильм не просто портрет талантливой молодой балерины, но и возможность показать жизнь одной из лучших Академий балета изнутри.
Будто сошедшая с картин Эпохи Возрождения, Ева - балерина, в которой легко сочетаются бесконечные линии и техничность, трогательная красота и осознанность, природная мягкость и сильный характер.
Завтра Ева начинает свой первый сезон с труппой Большого театра и мы желаем ей яркого и красивого творческого пути!

It was such a great pleasure to watch a portion of Eva's journey to the Bolshoi. She is so talented and also respectful of the other dancers who deserve compliments. Eva has the highest regard for her wonderful teacher which is admirable. May Eva have long and prosperous career as a ballerina. ❤❤❤❤

Ева потрясающая. Такая приятная, милая, интеллигентная, умная, воспитанная девушка. Великолепные балетные данные, всё при ней. Пусть у неё всё сложится.
Хочется только заметить, что после Светланы Захаровой была ещё Рената Шакирова. Она выступала с труппой Мариинского театра в балете «Дон Кихот» будучи ещё студенткой академии Вагановой. Как-то все об этом забыли. Однако, это нисколько не умаляет заслуг Евы.

Не могу с Вами согласиться по поводу выучки.Слабо выученные в Большом ведущие партии не танцуют.

@@Phoenix-hp4eu Ах,уважаемый(или уважаемая),все познается в сравнении.Боюсь,Вы не посещали ничего кроме Большого.Можно эстетствовать,придираться,но Большой есть Большой.А выучка у этой девушки просто феноменальная,поверьте,я в этом понимаю.Если уж быть мегапрофессионалом,можно прицепиться к какой-нибудь мелочи,но это всегда можно к любому без исключения артисту и педагогу.Есть разные взгляды на нюансы школ,я-поклонница Московской,-кто-то любит Питерскую больше,но данная балерина,действительно,очень грамотно обученная танцовщица,ещё и красивая,и талантливая.
@@user-fq8li8ve5s девушка глухая, плохо скоординированная и не выученная! Впрочем как и все ученицы госпожи Леоновой! И балет я видала и другие театры …, и хорошо знаю цену этим бездарным танцам! Мне жаль материал. Тк у девушки хорошие данные, но больше ничего. И к сожалению впереди череда травм… это видно по приземлениям. И по координации рук , головы и корпуса.

It's sad that something so beautiful was made to look like propaganda...
I am concerned with the lack of muscle strength in this dancer who is very young. Her muscles should be extremely strong and they are not. I believe that the fault is in the training. Before you begin to scream and yell jealousy and ignorance consider the matter. They stretch their muscles beyond the capacity of the muscles to maintain strength to do even a double pirouette completely. I look at her again and again and she has not done a perfect double pirouette much less a triple pirouette. These things used to be very common among ballerinas . A double pirouette is not a great achievement but a common achievement in another era. Strength to balance is also lacking. The extreme stretching should be stopped. I cringed to watch her pull her body beyond all human dimensions. I I would rather watch ballet from 50 years ago then see this pulling of the body like a rubber band. The panache and musicality of the Russian dancers are used to be legend. No their bellies are boring because they cannot perform at the technical excellence of decades gone by. I don’t even approach to talk about the men because they’ve made them into women. I don’t want to see a man do a penché. The strength and assurance of the male ballet dancer have been greatly reduced. Again there’s too much stretching. Ballet is not gymnastics. Thank God. Because we care about beauty and ballet we must not sacrifice beauty for a gymnastic result. I look forward to seeing this ballerina 10 pounds heavier and 10 times stronger. I recommend that she stops all that stretching and concentrate on placement. A completely straight leg -knees that do not bend when you perform a tendu. go all the way back to the beginning and make sure your legs become strong. It’s worth it. She has the time to do it this will avoid years of injuries and for shortened career. She won’t have to think about retiring when she’s in her 30s because she’s blasted her body in her youth. She can reconstruct I pray that she does.
