In my opinion, Alfred beatdown deck will always be strong competitive deck regardless of which deck you are going up against. Even with the new crossrides, and the whole break ride concept, this deck will always hit for magic numbers when it counts the most. There is so much options that you can choose from which not only makes this deck competitive but fun to play at the same time!
I decided to take it out because I added a third palamedes. Exculpate is a good tech choice for the build but I felt it serves no purpose in pushing for the win late game. It is great if you can pull his effect off real early in the game when you have less than 4 damage and your opponent has a near full field. However, saving your soul blast for soul saver dragon towards the end gives you much more of an advantage to win the game. But don't get me wrong, exculpate is still an awesome card :)
