Tried programmed a new used unlock OEM smart key for 2013 Prius, but at the final step after placing a new key next to the power button and beeped, it never registered at the final step after putting it on passenger seat. I suspected a bad used key or low battery voltage? Any advise? I always worked most of the time for other customers(unless the key as bad with it didn't beep at all). It was interested b/c it actually gave me a beep, but not a second beep after placing it on a passenger seat.
I had this issue and figured out a solution. Posting to help others maybe it will work for them. In the techstream software I used the classic mode to program it. Same process, different interface but it worked finally after falling 10 times with regular mode.
Kinda expected that there was going to be a demo of an actual key being programmed.
Agreed
Great video! Thanks for showing the real deal including the other screens.
What if it's an All Keys Lost scenario? And may I know where you bought the software? Thanks.

Everything shows up under immobilizer > utility except for key registration???
Techstream is a slow software, it can be a real pain sometimes when running actuation tests etc.
Immobilizer > utility >key registration > follow wizard

You need to reset the fob key used in another car to program this key to your car. I can do that. 310-595-8374
