Being a great fan of the series, that choked me up. Because everyone of us will relate to achieving a life of various experiences and then, simply pass away.
No shame in that. It was real. Brought back almost every loss I’ve ever had, and at 50, I’m afraid to say that I have more loved ones under the earth than on it, sadly. It is funny but believable and also very poignant not just the last show but right throughout. Messages I will carry with me for the test of my days.
It was pure genius, as was MASH and so many others that had to go. I do wish they would make a 70's or 80's version with the wives and the kids being younger and Navid struggling with english
I liked the interview where the actor playing Boabie said he said the lines and the make up assistant gave him a tissue, and he hadn't realised he was crying but then still had loads of earlier scenes to film!.

For awhile I have been studying Philosophy, in particular Stoicism. Stoics (like Aurelius and Seneca) taught that everyone you know and love will die. (And of course you will die too). Instead of thinking of this as the worst thing ever they say strive to do good things every day while you have time on earth! All the characters in Still Game did exactly that. There are so many examples, like when Boaby and the Craig Ferguson character's car plunges into the canal and Jack and Victor just hurl themselves into the canal too. That's friendship (even though comically they were no help). How about when everyone talked Navid out of burning down the superstore? I could go on and on. It's almost like Stoic Philosophy was behind the entire series. The final scene is the truth, "Memento Mori" (Remember, you will die). Thank you Yangy for your part in doing good things with your time on earth, by sharing your talents and this beautiful scene with us. It is art.

Magic nice one thanks I will cheack that out
This ending always makes me cry, i love still game and i knew it had to end but i never expected it to be so sad tbh 😭
It is art.
1:06. That got me. Couldn’t have asked for a better ending
This is the best Scottish sit comedy I've watched!
I've bindged watched it from new year's Day on nextflix because of the lock down.
It's not been edited like the asholes of BBC!! Propper good old comedy as it should be !!
Best sitcom ever- anywhere!
@@kristibaron4039 it's a sad ending and brought tears to my eyes! no other comedy has done that to me as it so real to life. I've started watching it again. It just brill 🇫🇮⭐
Grew up watching still game, still brings tears to my eyes
And you’re a Rise Against fan. Legend
I'm crying uncontrollably, I'm so sad 😭
I cried for a couple days over this!
Considered the still game gang as family!
I had such a bond with both the RDR and Still Game gangs
Faimly! I too shed quite a few tears over this... genius ending to a brilliant show.

I’m still dropping Still Game one liners when required!
Every time I see a bookies, my accumulator is accumulating!
I never thought I would cry so hard watching the funniest show ever
Cry with laughter, maybe
Yangy I meant the end where they all fade away 😓 nah but this show is comedy gold I was waking past a primary school and a heard like a fucking 6 year old shout “ BACK AFF YA SPOOKY BITCH”
What a great ending, the end of an era for any one growing up with this show.
Absolute cracking tv and class ending
this is my most favorite show ever!
Truly beautiful.
Beautifully done, as a big fan of the show I love this.
Watching this clip for the umpteen time cos I love it so much, but-it fills me up every time I see it, I feel like I’ve lost someone close too me I do do miss the gang. 😢😢😢😢😢😢
It's going to feel the same empty sadness once you leave and Grow as an independent Country ,All the very best to ya
Great ending ...really touching ...loved the show had to watch with closed captions on from canada
Don't tell me you didn't know what they were on aboot?
Perfection
Glad you liked it! Feel free to check out some of my other videos, and subscribe if you enjoy them! Got more stuff in the works
Very well made and very emotional 😢😢😢
I only recently discovered this on Netflix but I’m a huge fan. I’ve probably watched them all half a dozen times already. Fantastic ending for a show! Well done all of you. Still Game only makes me want to visit Scotland all the more. Two pints prick!
Good video i like Still Game and Red dead redemption.
Excellent edit ! These characters, so relatable, we miss them still.
Favourite game mixed with my favourite series... Brilliant 👍🏻
Always fun to mix two masterpieces, especially when they're both Scottish.
Feel free to check out some of my other videos too! In one, I mashed up the trailers for GTA V and T2 Trainspotting
Don’t know bout everyone else but felt like a bit of my youth and soul passes away at the end ! Will always carry still game in my heart ❤️ Still watch it every week anyway 🤣🤣🤣 But thank you
absolutely...hate how they killed them off. Only because the comeback was awful...good nostalgia but it didn't have the still game feeling... just forced comedy
I still miss still game... such a sad ending...
It seemed sad because we know that we will all fade away sometime, hopefully without pain. When you are old like me, it doesn't seem so bad to leave.
My mum cant watch still game anymore she just starts crying as she thinks of this scene
Naveed boaby and winstons wife looked so sad 😭
Naveed and Whinny just killed me she went from laughing with Winston to wheeling herself and that sigh that Naveed let's out speaks volumes. I imagine they passed in the order we see them fade.
@@cerealkiller7098 I hadn't thought of that.
I feel so lonely now
Jesus....didn't realise I was still hurting from this until now. Tears. Happy and sad
That last sigh of Navid's breaks my fucking heart.
Goodbye still game we all miss you
Was heartbroken watching this, miss still game
Tear jerker with that song 😪
this song was far better than the one used in the actual episode
The RDR2 soundtrack is truly phenomenal. When making this, I had originall considered "Unshaken" but I thought this was more fitting
The song fits perfectly I agree 😭
