Sarasota is Sarasota. Laid back, easy feeling. We don't want high rises. We would hate it becoming a "Miami", which with all these new buildings being built, is making Sarasotans claustrophic. Sarasota is paradise for a reason. Hope it stays that way
I live in your #4 bayou oaks. I have been here 10 years. Its improved 100%. I have never seen burnt out abandoned cars. If i listen to this i would never buy here. We have had 1 theft by someone who saw my cousin ride his bike on property. What once were abandon houses are now all redone and sold. I feel any city in US is now questionable after dark! I used to live in Colorado. What a decline there! Sarasota is cleaning up so i have to say there is truth in what you say, however its declining all over. Gentrification crap with tax payer dollars doesnt apprear to be managing Sarasota homeless issues. I feel safe NOWHERE at night.
Good Evening Jose, excellent presentation on how polarization is taking hold. I lived on Albert PL just a short distance to Gulf Gate Mall in the mid 70"s. Yes it has changed. Well I will be in Sarasota on Thursday to visit my old home town. My home base is Northville MI. Take care, stay safe and God Bless. ( I know who to contact if I need a Uber)
I just moved to Bradenton from Denver. I live off 64 behind the Walmart, it is sooooo quiet. I work by the airport and it is definitely visually different. But it is a far cry from what I dealt with in Denver and I lived in the "good" part of Denver lol I have not seen the homeless here yet, in Denver they are everywhere, so sad. But thank you for your videos, they play a major role in keeping my son and myself out of trouble
I couldn’t believe how bad Denver was. Look carefully into those empty lots on 64 and you can see well hidden a few homeless camps. 😊 (if you miss denver) warming up soon will be beach season it still not clear enough yet we had a windy winter. Say hello when you see me around town
The middle class here in Sarasota almost were successful in ruining Sarasota. They went to social conflict with the homeless, which is the favorite charity of the upper class, and it pissed off the upper class into increasing mortgage prices. Upper middle class business owners act like they own the upper class and lower class. Hopefully the Sarasota middle class in the future has better psychosocial skill that doesn't PISS OFF us upper class.
Been here 40 yrs and yes, Sarasota has definitely changed 😢 too much crazy traffic. Otherwise, there is crime everywhere. Wherever you live, you just have to have common sense and some street smarts. The shooting in the Sarasota County Fair 2 yrs ago is proof of that. I have a few friends in Amaryllis and driving around I've never had a problem, day or night. My daughter's school wasn't a problem either. I feel Sarasota is super bad in the issue of traffic, having a higher chance of being hit while walking or riding bikes. Even motorcycles. I've seen my fair share of all these. Hardly any sidewalks is part of the problem. But again, Sarasota is a laid back city.
The most Cringe among alot of Cringe was "Newton" lol. Its New-Town bro. You obviously aren't that knowledgeable about the area or wouldn't have butchered that so bad. Home-O-side 😂
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I’ve watched my property values jump more than double in the seven years I’ve lived in North Sarasota. Multimillion dollar homes are currently being built in my neighborhood. You don’t know what you’re talking about!
Newtown use to be really bad when i was a kid 90s i grow up in that area also Gillespie park use be very dangerous Mexican gang area overtown cohen projects downtown was really bad too Sarasota been cleaned up whole lot you have no idea how bad it use too
The thing about florida from what ive seen in the year ive lived here so far even though the beaches and nature are beautiful, the city areas are either for the rich or the poor, there's hardly any in between
34238 is Palmer Ranch, south Sarasota, gated communities, safe overall. This guy make Sarasota sound like there are dangerous areas everywhere here, it’s mostly north Sarasota/ Bradenton where it gets dicey.
Gracias!!
There is being way too much much new construction and the flooding is getting worse
NEW TOWN not newton

That was a fine specimen of a video. I learned a new word, boogie.
Yes, its a person or place that appears proper but in reality has it’s informality 😊
Bougie. 😂
Just remember that people that live in Sarasota don’t like people from Bradenton😂
Also correct.
I’ve never heard of that and I was born and raised in Bradenton and live in Sarasota 🤷🏻♀️

If you can afford to move.
Very good job
Thank you for this. Can you tell me if zip 34238 the condos by costco, is that a decent area?
