Tri county area of south fl (Palm Beach Broward Miami) is absolutely unmatched when it comes to vibes and it’s easily the best overall area of the entire state of florida
No. Southern Florida is not good. The water in the ocean is too warm and full of sea lice. It's overcrowded. It's overpriced even compared to other parts of Florida. Tampa is the place to be if you have the money to afford it. Great vibes there. People speak English and it's just as culturally mixed as south Florida. Oh and it's not too racist either. People are doing much better off economically (and socially) in Tampa than in Miami, Fort Lauderdale or WPB.
I have been living in Broward County for 42 years. Moved here from New York. There are not many full black Americans living in South Florida. They migrated out of the area, starting in the 90's. Moved to Georgia, the Carolinas, Virginia and Tennessee. The majority of the Blacks in south Florida are of island decent.
I find this more well balanced than the Miami-Dade County video. But let’s keep it real Miami Dade is a much more complicated place that’s definitely a more messed up situation. I lived in Broward a couple of months. Had more fun than where I’ve lived most of my life at over here in Kendall.
Well done. Iwas waiting for this. Growing up in suburban NYC, the only other places ive seen comparable were southern Maryland and Broward county. For the ed info for axact reasons you mentioned. I also realized African americans in Dade were a breed of their own but didnt know the racial disparity was so great.
Broward in the best county in Florida hands down. Wages are higher, employment is better, you don't need to speak Spanish in order to ya know...live....And has the wealthiest class of black Americans. Apartment rental terms are better. Liberalism works...just not TOO much it's not Cali.
I’m only about halfway through the video, but surprised the westside of Miramar hasn’t been brought up yet. Super wealthy Haitians and Jamaicans out in communities like Sunset Lakes.
I was raised in Broward County Florida in the 70's & 80's. It doesn't look anything like the tropical Florida I remember.😢 I have many fond memories. I last visited in 2020. I think I'll never again,Go home
North Lauderdale here. And I love it. Being in a blue county in a red state gives us the best of both worlds. I've lived all over Florida but Broward is my favorite place to live. The crime rate isn't all that bad. At night I work security at an urban nightclub in Pompano. We have had a few shooting incidents, but nothing major. Broward is a perfect melting pot. Anytime I go anywhere else to visit I can't wait to come home. Well....except when I went to Medellin. But thats a whole nother subject.
@thedirtybubble9613 🤣😂 Oh really. That's funny because I don't even lock my front door when I leave for work and I have yet to have anything stolen. My spouse orders Amazon literally 4 days out of the week and the boxes sit there until we get home. I don't have a front gate and my front door is about 20 feet from the sidewalk. So if thats what you call a "crime ridden cesspool " then I wish the rest of the US was this "crime ridden" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@jayteethegreat That doesn't tell me anything. I still look at the local news stations in South FL and North Lauderdale seems to be the absolute worst of the worst areas for crime seeing there is at least a homicide there every single day.
@thedirtybubble9613 Key words "Seems to be". Well since there is a murder here almost every day. Can you send me any news articles of the multiple murders that have supposedly taken place in North Lauderdale over the past week? Or 2 weeks....Month....
@thedirtybubble9613 There is a bar called Players on State Rd 7 and Commercial Blvd that's a hood spot, and they have had shootings. But that's at 4 am and miles away from any residential area. I think BSO has a police officer working detail there now because its been awhile since i heard about anything going on over there. Those are isolated events. A few years back, there was a convenience store clerk robbed and killed on Bailey rd next to the fire station. But again, that's extremely uncommon here.
It would be interesting to see a Treasure Coast video. Martin, St Lucie, and Indian River County are starting to have a surge of new growth as the lower South Florida (PB, Dade, Broward) region has gotten too built up and too expensive for most average people to live there. I think what's interesting is that Vero Beach and Fort Pierce, two cities that for about 10 years were seeing almost no growth at all, over the last 2 years have begun seeing a wave of new shopping centers, commercial development, and a bunch of future planned things coming to that area. Vero is going to get a new exit off 95 and Fort Pierce is probably going to get a Buccess real soon. The area has had a real divide of developers wanting to turn that place into the next big boom place in Florida, while the rich and the local residents are fighting as hard as possible to keep that progress from happening.
PSL has become an absolute shit hole. I’ve been living here for 21 years and it’s gotten ridiculous due to down south and New York moving here. It was crickets and frogs here I had Bob cats in my neighborhood now it’s ambulances and sirens, so sad. BTW PSL was rated the worst drivers in the country 2 days ago by Allstate.
Fort Lauderdale is very safe, affordable, diverse, & has a low crime rate in Florida. It’s my second home after Raleigh, NC. Corrections are appreciated.
Broward has been my home for 20 years. It's the best county. Dont need to speak spanish to live here. Dont appreciate you using the thug like stmbol to represent us. Love your videos.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I love how you knew I was talking about Daytona 😂 World’s Most Famous Beach. I always thought that was South Beach. I used to go there a lot when I was younger and fly alone before 9/11. Great music scene and food is better but the beaches are the best! Close to the Keys too. Sounds like I’m due for a visit
I agree. Parenting starts at home. Monitoring is very important. School, social media, etc has to be monitored by parents. You do what you have to do as a parent. Once a child becomes an adult they can make their own decisions and ideas. Truth be told… young(liberal thinking) due to now being independent, wanting to see the world. Older(conservative) you have seen stuff, experiences bad or good and your thinking shifts back because you slow down. You can now analyze things better in a sense because of what you want.
To me, the only crime statistic that matters is robberies and burglaries because most assaults and homicides are personal. So if you’re a person who keeps a small circle and doesn’t associate with shady people you dont have much to worry about
Bro who you calling dumb? Broward county now has more crime than Miami-Dade county. And yes those neighborhoods you mentioned Jose like Lauderhill, Lauderdale Lakes are crime ridden hell holes.
I grew up in Lakes in a nice home surrounded by black professionals, and no, it isn't riddled with crime. It has changed for sure, the thugs have come into the area with the b.s., and unfortunately, will stain the entire city. But overall, still a good city to live in!
And Hollywood beach and downtown isn’t what it used to be. Used to be a little tucked away hidden gem, now it’s being developed just as much as every other city. Those high rises darted up quick, and there’s no signs that it’ll slow down.
You sound awfully bias about a certain group of people. Poverty comes in all shades, Illiteracy comes in all shades. It’s not all just black,or, American.
Not only Broward, but the video starts in Hollywood. Born and raised 🤘

Broward County is my home. Born in Hollywood, raised in Plantation/ Ft. Lauderdale. Sure, you have bad areas. Just as anywhere. It can be expensive.🎉❤
Broward has both wealthy and poor areas and they have more of a middle class feel.
I love Broward!!!! You don’t see too many extremely bad areas. Does not feel overcrowded and not as boring as West Palm Beach.
