Martin did such a good job that I bought this pedal. Ran it through some trials last night and now I'm a little heartbroken. To practice in silent mode I used the AUX IN to route a mix into it. The AUX signal also gets routed through the CAB IR 😢, rendering the functionality largely unusable. Furthermore, the stereo AUX in gets summed to mono, defeating the purpose of integrating the pedal into a production workflow. Lastly, the USB C audio only route OUT, not IN, so you have to use the AUX. Half the point of recording over USB is to be able to record DRY on one channel, and it doesn't do that, either. Just two channels of the same signal (post) (instead of a pre (L) and post (R)) which means no reamping capability. The Return jack is mono, so no stereo effects which also defeats the purpose of it having "stereo" recording option in the DAW. I love Laney products so I'm really bummed they dropped the ball on this one. So close!
i understand your frustration but i think the pedal is meant for live gigs and not studio recording. i bought it and add it to my pedalboard along with all my analog pedals now in the FX loop chain. it sounds wonderful and i got a cleaner and more manageable tone for live setups and gigs. i literally just plug and play on any PA making it extremely fast to move and setup on daily basis.

I love these amps but they should have an IEC input like Bluguitar amps...
Too bad that we have to carry an extra power supply to have the 24v 2.5A required with the Laney Loudpedal.
They'd have to make the pedal bigger, but I agree, that would be a better design.

I don’t really like external power supplies but it does noise away from the amp.

I owned the previous 60w pedal model, I felt like I might break the facade, but it was otherwise a good sounding amp. This though, this I’d rock without hesitation. I wonder how similar this sounds to the dual lead?

I learnt to play with a laney 100w amp...can't remember the model, for some reason I always thought it was inferior as I thought Marshall or fender would be a better brand etc....my laney got a damaged tube as I lugged it around everywhere.....ling story short, I bought a fender and still miss my laney today 😢......it just had better sound....it also had FX on it which is rare for a tube amp....overall it was a ripper

No, only the XLR out. You can use both simultaneously.

They’re quite different in terms of gain structure and voicing.
@@MartinMillerGuitar : from listening to YT-clips it sounds like the lionheart is more "vintagy". I once owned an Iron-Heart Studio and it was quite modern.
@@DizzyKrissi Yes, the Lionheart is smoother and saggier, the Ironheart is intermediate and tight.
