7:54 my 2024 Genesis gv70 (leasing 13 months) with much OLDER infotainment system got an OTA more than a month ago for WIRELESS ANDROID AUTO (And CP). Works great. All Kia, Hyundai, Genesis should be getting have it eventually if not available at time of purchase/ Lease .
after watching your videos for years, i finally got a chance to listen to the B&W in an xc90 today and polestar 3 a couple of weeks ago. It sounded amazing, especially in the polestar where it didn't have the ICE droning in the background. I thought the meridian in my rivian was good, but the B&W was next level. I've listened to the other s-tier B&W systems from bmw but for some reason they didn't sound as good (at least to me).
Meridian system in older and newer Rivians is not anything special for the price. It's good enough but something like a base Model 3 Dual Motor Highalnd is significantly better in terms of sound stage, clarity, fidelity, and even bass. Only thing Teslas aren't good at is how loud they get (still plenty loud to cause permanent long term ear damage though)
@@barbecuetechtips6024 I Said it to compare to other brands. Some people might care which is why they mentioned it. I do technically have some hearing loss in one ear but the max I use any Tesla's audio system is around 50-60% lol. Normally around 30% or so.
I'm quite glad that Hyundai, Kia and Genesis are improving their sound systems, even if it's just a little bit. The Sonata is a good example of the improvement they're trying to make, but still need a little push to be even better. Great video, Charlie!
My old genesis with the 17 speaker lexicon and DIS is the byfar the best infotainment ive ever used. Amazing sound neutral+bright and I turn up my 2 12’s I get a very great low bass response. Hyundai really never has focused too much on sportiness. The olde cars had rough suspension with aggressive engine options but now its mellowed into quiet turbo charged 60 degree v6’s Ill always cherish the V8 TAU though.
@@barbecuetechtips6024 Emira is shit compared to Eletre, I owned Emira and drove Eletre for several days, Emira system just a brand name not actual KEF system, while Eletre and Emiya have a proper KEF system
@@barbecuetechtips6024 I owned Emira and the KEF audio in it is just a brand name not really a true KEF audio system, Eletre uses actual KEF system with all their technologies, it's best Audio system I have ever heard in a car, the only issue I faced is that it have no adjustments whatsoever, it's like you stuck with what you hear
Plans of reviewing the new Tesla Model 3’s system with the dual subs? I recall the major complaint you had from the old system was an uninvolved sub with no adjustment. They seemingly changed both of those things
Would love to, but Tesla isn't interested in sending a review unit. I need a fair amount of uninterrupted time with a car to both fairly evaluate the system as well as shoot the video.
Klipsch is in the 2025 Ram & Infinity QX80, 1 speaker difference with Ram having one less 24 vs 23, most interesting difference for me is that the Ram has a 12 Subwoofer, and the QX80 has an 8 inch Subwoofer. Keep that in mind when you do a review for both, everything is the same besides that, they are 1200 watt systems, the best versions at least on QX80 because the other Klipsch is 14 speakers and 600 watts. I will go back to look at the Lexicon version of this, because I remember the Subwoofer being in the rear. I know the B&O has more power than the Lexicon system, I think 200 to 315 watt difference more than the Lexicon, with same number of speakers. I can't wait to see how you think Klipsch compares to the AKG system, I think you were not as impressed with the McIntosh system in the Jeep, I saw it last year sometime but it was not S tier like the AKG for the Escalade from memory.
waiting on that new 2024/25 e-class with 17 speakers 4D with dolbyAtmos review. i guess it will get an A tier if not S. or I'm i betting on it to much?... anyone who has specifically listened to it? please let me know. thanks :)

Brilliant review! Love that this B&O system is standard even on the middle trim level.
yet another one of their solid S tier systems being let down by the lack of a 9 band EQ

I used to have a 2015 Kia K900 and the lexicon system in that car was pretty amazing.

my man is this thing beautiful.... pure simplicity and function, going to age pretty well not like the germans
i love the design of this car
I much prefer how you have the video camera showing the screen close up when you make adjustments!
You really need to find a way to get your hands on Lotus Eletre Reference KEF system!!! I believe it's only thing left to review
Savage geese posted measurements of the emira. It was disappointing against the lc500 mark Levinson.

It makes me a little upset how this B&O sounds compared to the B&O in the new MDX....Still think ELS rules the MDX's segment.

Any plans for the Mark Levinson system in the new Lexus GX550?
Yup, getting the car tomorrow, video should be live in mid Nov

No chemistry between Charlie and B&O 😅 , I think B&O has now the last chance for S tier , in Audi A6/A7 with Advenced audio system , will see I hope 🙂

My lexicon speakers def sounded better. I got the this model now and the B&O is lacking some deep bass & the subwoofers dont even feel like they work.
