Dam Points of Grace was a turf champion and 15yrs old when she had this colt. Love that you show the horse, when so many others show the jockey's face being led into the circle, as though the horse is an accessory. Oh those Tapits, with so many having that pretty face.
@@BetsyAmos don't even, you know Secretariat is a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence, most mares in the 18+ age range struggle to get in foal, much less produce live foals, or successful racers Points of Grace's last live foal, is her 2021, she wasn't covered for a 2022, she didn't have a foal in 2023, despite being covered by 2 different stallions, and she didn't have her 2024, either. She's 19, I think it's very unfair to have bred her for a 2025, she's earned a peaceful pension.
@@lauranolastnamegiven3385 Yeah, not much to debate. There's too much variation among mares in what they can manage. Leslie's Lady had her last foal Marr Time when she was 19, & 14 named foals. Urban Sea had her last foal at 20. Both exceptional, very durable rarities.
Bill Motts horses have looked so good the last couple years. They are always in the best shape and they get better as they get older instead of falling apart like some of the other trainers consistently have right now.
I LOVE seeing the horses come over and walk around the paddock, thank you. I love that your title didn't give away the winner, thank you. But no race call? 2 out of 3 ain't bad! Wait, copyright???? I've heard that before, even though one can still hear the music and here, the call, barely! Oh well. Thanks for great coverage.
No! The horse spooked. I think he saw geese. It was amazing that his jockjey held ONTO him, while he hit the ground, stayed up right, ran along side and stopped a 1,000 animal. @gotchagee3315

Arthur's Ride propped, & ducked to the side he probably saw something which spooked him a bit, & he kinda briefly planted his feet, just enough to stop his forward motion enough, that the jockey came off, but he never let go of the reins, recovered brilliantly, brought the horse to a stop, as the outrider approached, then was able to remount, basically unaided Arthur's Ride is by Tapit, Tapits are known to be a little spooky

Nothing prettier than a flash of silver blazing across that finish line! Great race...🏆🏇💯

Great video! So glad you caught the gallop out. Junior is such an athlete to hang on and run next to him and jump back on him by himself 😂
So awesome.

At least we get to see some of the presentstion here.
That was an impressive run and he wasn't letting anyone catch him. Speed w/ stamina is a very tough combo. Looking forward to the BC Classic.

@bishlap Out of the best Sire probably of all time, Northern Dancer! Atleast in North America!!
@@anthonyrazza1344 I would agree - The NEARCO/Northern Dancer line so special.
I love the grays. A beautiful boy. Great race for a great lady. She would be proud.
Gateman's little tail lift set the afterburners to ON
Tail was stuck in the gate, he may have saved the day.

Excellent video, great job!
Once again, NBC's lousy coverage cut off all of Bill Mott's interview on Tv of his 1st ever Whitney win and the presentation of the roses.
Arthur’s Ride is a beautiful racehorse💞💞🐎💞
Love the greys! He was my pick as well. Beautiful boy
Love it when there is an upset like this. Keeps the "elites" a little more humble.

Watch at 10:12 Arthur's ride with the pony. he's so excited he has giggle knees.
Could have won on looks alone
I found my horse! There's something special about him 🤔😎
As brilliant as the winner was cudos should also be given to a 6 wide crupi and a dead game post time let's hope we see all three at ol Delmar
I pick the horse 2 dollar across the board three times
I like the horses and colts
Ha! I picked that horse!

Could anyone please tell me what is a 'horse' I understand colt, mare, filly and gelding .... ?
A non-gelded male horse age 5+. Once they retire and start breeding they’ll be referred to as a stallion.
