Minecraft: Iron Farm Tutorial [With Spawner][Outdated in 1.14]

- Since my previous Iron Farm Tutorial recieved lot's of positive reaction I'v decided to make another iron farm design, this time with spawners. In todays tutorial I show you 2 types of iron farms, A small one for 1-15 Spawners and a big farm for up to 150 spawners.
These farms produce +- 1200 Iron Ingots and 275 Poppies per hour per spawner

To get an IG spawner in creative first type /give [playername] command_block
Then put this command in it:
1.14 + 1.13 /setblock ~ ~1 ~ minecraft:spawner{SpawnData:{id:"minecraft:iron_golem"}}
1.12 + 1.11: /setblock ~ ~1 ~ minecraft:mob_spawner 0 replace {SpawnData:{id:"Villager_Golem"}}
1.9 + 1.10: /setblock ~ ~1 ~ minecraft:mob_spawner 0 replace {SpawnData:{id:"VillagerGolem"}}
1.8 and below: /setblock ~ ~1 ~ mob_spawner 0 replace {EntityId:VillagerGolem}

I made the small version with 2 Iron Golem spawners on skyblock and it works really good! Thank you so much for this tutorial! I also really like that you put a list of the things you need for the farm in the beginning :D
how do I put the two chests together as you did in the tutorial or depends on the version

that spawner is soooo good and i only have 3 ig spawners it gives 3 stacks in 10 mins
Not hating but you should be getting more than that for 3 ig spawners

yew gotta be kidding meh, I've 149IG spawners, But, I get 19xLarget Chests Fully filled with Irons per 4hours
The Problem could be the wide is 3block far and for heigh the igs are placed on each others surface

i am playing on bedrock and it dosent seem to work on a server as there is a plugin which would make it all into 1 and it cant walk it keeps getting stuck at the signs idk what to do

This is a ridiculously good tutorial.
I think the only thing you could add would be a short screenshot of "needed items for final build." So like this many signs. This many blocks.
Just keep it short. And dont do what everyone else who does this does. (Adds random crap (like enough stairs to make it look fancy) you dont need or doesnt make sense)

is there a better chest storage system? because only the middle of mine fill and not the sides so when i afk all night it just gets backed up and dosnt fill all the way

i have one question when i get command block and put command in it places spawner below it and i cant get it in inventory. i need to place bunch of spawner and its very annoying that i need place command blocks for every spawner please help
Sadly without a mod or a plugin you can not do this, or you will need some very long complex command system

humm the iron golems always stuck in the sign which have no water, how could i fix this?
+Angus Chung weird, how long is the empty space? It should be 1 block wide area without water. Do you maybe have a bigger space without water

How were you getting all of the spawn cages active at once? You looked farther than 16 blocks away

Whenever I type in the command I always get “unexpected “minecraft:spawner””, I’ve tried changing it to spawner, minecraft_spawner, etc but the command never works. Any help?

yo just a question, but would putting the spawners so close to each other not ruin the way igs spawn? like dont they have to be like 3 blocks away from each ither or something?

I have 1 spawner and I get quite a bit in a few minutes. small version does take the golems some time to actually reach the lava tho

For the high of the big igs spawner, is it necessary to be 30 block high or it can be unlimited.Btw Very nice tutorial bro ;)

If you don't put the chests/hoppers down and grind them your self, will the iron golems be able to hit you?
Yes the golems will kill you (I suggest you not to do this)

I just done this build but when the golem die at the water below the lava the iron disappear and didnt go to the hopper nor chest
It is stuck in the hoppers, and make sure to check all chests. Try dropping on item on the hopper and check where it goes. (make sure the lava is placed 2 blocks above the water with a sign in between so the items dont burn.

You can start a new row next to it, however I think expending your current design would be necessary

With the smaller design can we fit more than 15 igs
You can but some iron golems might escape the farm

Make sure you start placing the chests from the left or the right side and work your way to the other side
