      Did you mean:
The Catholic Church when it comes to Children
      or
The Protestants when it comes to Irish Catholic Children

My family is asking me to be ordained online because we don't have a priest in our area that can do it.

Haha I am a real preacher 20 years but never got ordained. I got asked to do a wedding yesterday. I may have to do the pay for a ordaining over email. What a world. I am flexible though

Hi I just wondered 🤔...I'm in the UK!..I got Ordained 5 years ago , AS a Christian Minister, Here in the UK the Religious Organisations don't accept this as a Real Title !...Just wanted your thoughts on this as you have been a Preacher for 20 years 🙏

@@ANGELICHUMANANGEL I decided to not do that wedding cause the couple was a mess. I didn’t get ordained. The couple married another way and broke up by July. She became a Christian though and started my school. Any wedding we do should be prayed over carefully is my conviction now

unbelievable. I really don't know what else to say. I've been orthodox Christian for 10 years and recently became a Subdeacon. By my math with all that I have invested into the church over the years. All of the time and effort and commitment to God through obedience and faith. If I even become a priest. I estimate it will probably take 20+ years. To know that someone off the street can become ordained. I really don't know what else to say. I know Jesus Christ established our church. This watered down BS is not what he had in mind for marriage. Marriage is a sacrament. This is a joke. Lord have mercy Lord have mercy Lord have mercy.

Agreed! It shouldn't really involve anyone else - not the state, not a denomination - it should only involve the couple and their commitment to each other. :)

The Bible itself (God/Jesus) intended for ANYONE able to read and teach His Word to be Ministers. So, what exactly is the problem if someone feels they are called to do so? I'm sorry you feel you have to spend so much time and effort to become a "legit" Priest. Although some institution-based religions such as Catholicism probably do demand higher education for Priesthood. If so, I'd seriously question that institution, since the Bible NEVER states that ministry requires such.

Jesus never said spend thousands of dollars to read the Bible to become a minister. I went to Bible college. They teach you a lot of sneaky stuff they teach you how to manipulate and fool your congregation. They tell you don’t tell your congregation this don’t tell them that. Yea so I don’t even trust no minister that has been to a religious or theology school

Well, believe it or not, there are people in this world who are *gasp* NOT CHRISTIAN and want to be legally married anyway. Should they just not marry?
In a way, I'm very tickled that this is giving you heartburn. It's absolutely hilarious.

Oh and my Roman Catholic husband says you're schismatic and a heretic anyway. So keep that in mind.
