Kirby lore is just awesome. A thing Monger doesn't really mention is how insanely consistent the lore is too. At one point you say that they're just pulling things out of a hat, but the attention to detail to not create plot holes with a random cutscene from a game 20 years is something else. Nothing is ever forgotten.
Absolutely love this video. He did make a few errors due to localization and some info is outdated but it does get fixed in the follow up so it's fine.
When Taranza came down seeking to kidnap the "hero of Dreamland", it's not like they had any idea about who that would be, what they would look like, Taranza basically just took the strongest looking person he could find. A decent amount of Kirby villains make the mistake of underestimating Kirby based on his appearance lol
So 1. Wrong title as everyone else on the comments has pointed out, sorry if me saying it too is annoying. And 2. Make sure to watch the second video that was released when Kirby and The Forgotten Land (the 3d one that came out in 2022) happened.
21:30 My theory about Taranza mistaking Dedede as the "Hero of Dreamland" is that Taranza had no other information other than this title and though the "Hero of Dreamland" must have the biggest house in the land, which is Dedede's Castle.
11:30 You had to pause the game, then press right or left on the d-pad to scroll over to the boss descriptions. If you did this outside of boss fights, you get a moves list for your current copy ability.
There's more lore after star allies because this is outdated with the newer installments, now Galacta knight and Morpho Knight are canon thanks to kirby and the forgotten land, edit: my bad i didn't hear about part 2
While Morpho was confirmed because of forgotten land, Galacta was not. Galacta Knight was actually confirmed canon by Kirby's Return to Dreamland DX, since it directly showed that Super Kirby Clash, a game entirely about Galacta Knight, was canon.
So obviously you’re aware of the follow up video (which I would highly recommend), but after that I’d like to recommend RPGMonger’s Metroid Lore video as well. Thank you for your time, consideration, & content.
Same dude. My first Kirby game was Super Star Ultra and I watched a lot of the Kirby anime on TH-cam when I was young. I am now able to watch all of it for free.
The video is kind of outdated, also when watch this kind of video without knowing the plot of each would looks like it's coming out of nowhere. All the lore in one video, it's going to miss details because a video has structure that build up to something, informations that doesn't relate might get ignored.

Magolor epilogue is surefire proof of that
ARENT YOU THE GUYS WHO UPLOADS VG OST?
Except for the Land, they forgot that,
@@ikirbeeburgrI forgot the land, I’ll call it The Forgotten Land
Unironically, the only “plot hole” is that the only human character Adeline has been referred to by two names
And that's only in localized versions. And even then, her move "Ado's Painter" suggests that Ado is a nickname, thus erasing any plot hole!

I mean...
He definitely got *A* hero of Dream Land...

@@Clownin-round Oh okay thank you for the correction👍 (i mean it)
@@Clownin-round Galacta is now canon due to Magolor's Epilogue in Return to Dreamland Deluxe
I HIGHLY reccomend a good followup to this video called "Kirby lore designing for Friendship" on D4's channel
Let's go, title is wrong but more importanly KIRBY LORE!
Was here back when the title was wrong.
Also hope you do the followup vid too
Fixed the title, and I will if people like this video enough!

Thank you ! I was the one who recommended the video in the past
Sorry it took so long...
It's all good. Also..yes , the second lore-video is also pretty good
Make sure you watch part 2

'Magic scale' was a top tier joke.
You have to react to the part 2 of this
You should definitely react to Kirby unraveled it a riot. Also Brain David Gilbert so goes insane, it great.
Please do part 2
Recommendation: you should watch the “what is kirby canon” series by meteorz!
Why does this have the same title as your last game theory?
That's what happens when you use templates...
@@Fort_Master oh okay
It's not a lore or theory video but I recommend that you check out "Top Ten Mario and Luigi Bosses" by FawfulsMinion
