Purine Synthesis (De Novo Purine Synthesis)

this video is about important steps and reactions involved in de novo purine synthesis. De Novo purine biosynthesis involves 13 reactions and needs 7 ATP until the formation of inosine monophosphate. de novo purine synthesis starts with PRPP synthesis from PRPP synthetase enzyme, PRPP acts as positive modulator of purine synthesis regulatory enzyme prpp glutamyl amidotransferase. Purine ring has 9 atoms which are contributed by different metabolic intermediates.
